It's like once you fly First/Business, one can never go back to coach.......well, maybe economy comfort.....LOL.... Join their iPic membership club- it is FREE and for every 250 points, you receive a $25 gift card to use at iPic. You earn a point for every dollar spent on tickets. I had the Angus Sliders and my partner had the Meatball Sliders. We shared some sweet potato fries (enough for two so you can definitely split one order). Very tasty. They provide free popcorn as well. Sliders run from 13-15 bucks and the fries were 9, I think. Think we will try the drinks next time-a lot of people rave about the mixed drinks here. Parking is about a half block away from the theater. There is free popcorn that is given during the trailers or in the beginning. The chairs recline and there is a blanket and pillow. The price for the movie ticket was $32 dollars. The price in my opinion is way over price. The food is priced for a fancy restaurant. the best thing on the menu was the burlee cheesecake. I come to the Ipic often, but never do a review. I have had better experiences with the Ipic. Last night I went to see a 10:30pm movie. First off the parking has changed and now the parking is about a block away (which is sort of a bummer when your in stilettos) they do still validate so that's good. When we walked in we were greeted like we normally are and went down to see our movie since we were a little late. Since we were about 15 minutes late we missed the fresh popcorn, but our server Emily was attentive and made sure our dining experience was great, kudos to her!! Overall the ipic is the place to go to watch movies. Be prepared to spend at least $50, your paying for luxury...what do you expect! read more

It was AWESOME AS USUAL! I have never had a bad experience here! As it should be every where you pay to enjoy yourself. They really just got it down packed! They serve you and appreciate your business. We got there a little early we sat at the bar and had some appetizers and drinks and then went on to our cozy seats and watched NOAH. We are first time parents and this was supposed to be our first feature in a theater in 3 years, but because of the ridiculous weather conditions today (rain, hail, snow), we were late and they would not accommodate us. They would not let us in to watch the remaining time even though we already paid, they would not let us watch a different movie, they would not let us use the tickets for another movie that already started, and they would not refund us. Literally, nothing. On top of that, the manager looked like he could care less when we spoke with him. Do not go here. Terrible customer service. read more

Ipic pasadena is a great place to visit to watch a movie. They have a great selection of food that is tasty. Also like the fact that you can order from the comfort of your own seat. When I heard a place like this exist and I jumped on board on wanting a first-class movie experience on the same-day I found out about this place. This place definitely takes movie experience to a whole new level. The lounge / waiting area definitely a nice hipster bar where a hostess seats you in a "lounge" like chairs / couches. You can definitely order food/drinks if you get here early enough. Prices for drinks are about average typical at a bar. Definitely a decent wine list to offer. The movie seats are definitely a home-like feel. Auto recliner adjustable to how laid back you'd like to watch the movie without disturbing people around. A place you'd definitely want to reserve way ahead of time. Call button on the mini table between two seats is just GENIUS! Truffle fries and cannolis were definitely delicious for an after dinner snacking. I'd say the only downfall (if very particular/picky) is the first two rows of the theater. All I can say is "wow!". This place does not disappoint. Ok, maybe the $22 movie ticket was a bit of a short-lived shocker BUT you will understand why once you enter passed the ticket box. We went on a random Wednesday afternoon for my birthday so it was not crowded at all. One of the staff members was kind enough to give us a tour. He could tell by the look of awe and amazement on our faces that it was our first time being there. Let me tell you, it isn't just any ol' movie theatre. It looks like a lounge/club!! There are plush couches so you can lounge around while you wait for your movie. They have a bar and kitchen to serve full meals. Also, Tuesday nights menu items are 1/2 price. We were also told that there is a DJ that spins on Saturdays. Crazy, I know! That's not even the best part. Once you enter the theatre, all the seats are lazy boy recliners. You can order drinks and food as you watch the movie. I will definitely come here again because it is well worth it. Just a tip for the fellas, bring a girl on a date here and you'll be golden. Ipic is a great place to go to for a first date, this will forsure impress a lady. It's fancy, comfortable and incredibly romantic because it's pretty dark inside.But just to warn you guys now... There's no phone service !! But if you're on a date, that might actually be a good thing. Steps you need to take: You enter ipic, check in, go down two flights of escalators, walk to the right straight to the bar and get a drink before the movie. Find your theatre number, get comfy with your seat, pillow and blanket, and wait for your waiter to serve you. Arrive early so you can see the menu while there's light, we came when the previews were starting and it was really hard to see menu. On the side of your seats there are compartments for your purse or whatever items you don't want in your way. There's a button in the middle of the table if you need your server. I also like how the food comes out in a timely matter. Lobster roll: boyfriend got this and he said it was good, not extremely good, but pretty good. It also comes with homemade chips which I wish were a little bit more salted, but not too bad. Mushroom sliders: DELICIOUS! Love this! Comes with portobello mushroom, red peppers, arugula and aoli sauce. I asked for extra arugula because that's my favorite green, and it really made the sliders amazing to eat. The brioche bun was toasted to perfection and I wanted more. Truffle tater tots: normally it's truffle fries, but I asked if they could make the tots truffle as well and they said yes. I kind of wish I got the fries though because the tots weren't crispy enough. Plus there wasn't enough truffle flavoring. I love truffle, so the more truffle the better ! Three dishes plus one drink cost around $60 + tip= $70. Two tickets cost $64. Best to reserve them online beforehand before seats fill up. This place is expensive and its forsure worth the experience, but I for sure wouldn't come all the time just to watch a movie. read more

If you're looking for an above average movie date night/day date, this is the theater to go to. Ambiance is great! Definitely want to show up extra, extra early to really take advantage of their lounge/bar area. As for the seating inside the theater, it is assigned and only 2 seats per hub. If you're looking to sit in a group, definitely won't happen here. Best recommendation for that is AMC with recliner chairs. We had super friendly and helpful service for the most part. Our waitress inside the theater wasn't very patient or timely, but it didn't kill the experience. We'll be back in the very near future. read more

I never have received such bad customer service from this location. Enter the theater at 2:45 for a 3pm showing and received no customer service at all. I had to ring the bell in order to receive any attention even though I was passed several times and seen. The customers behind me received their order before I did. Just horrible customer service and it has just gotten worse since I first came here. This is one to add to the bucket list. Seems crazy to have a movie theater on a bucket list, but this was movie heaven. On a family weekend getaway to Pasadena, I decided this would be a fun activity and I was right. I did make our reservation about 4 days in advance. We arrived about 30 minutes prior to our movie, and we were promptly greeted, checked in and shown where to go to the lounge, taking 2 escalators down, we were then again greeted downstairs and taken to our theater. The lounge/bar area downstairs is quite large with plenty of comfortable seating. You can order drinks and snacks while waiting to be shown to your seats inside the theater. As we were shown to our seats, we were given menus to order snacks to enjoy with our movie. They will also bring you pillows and blankets if you request them. Love the seats, suede type fabric with power recliners, doesn't get any better for watching a movie. The theaters are quite intimate and the seats are arranged in two's, so you don't have anyone sitting directly next to you. The arm rests raise providing storage for purses, a really nice feature. In between the seats is a table on which to set drinks and food, with a button to push when you need to call a server. We order the blue cheese chips to start, they are quite good, homemade style potato chips with a blue cheese fondue poured over the top. We order wine and a barbecued chicken pizza that is delicious. Our son orders the beignets with a few different dipping sauces and he said they were delicious. Settled into our comfy seats, drinks and food on the table the movie begins and we are set. I loved that the theaters are small, seats are spaced a nice distance apart and we didn't have screaming children running around. Yes, Gold Class is pretty pricey. $90 for 3 and then another $60 for food. It isn't something I would make a habit of, but I recommend it at least once, it truly was a fun and unique movie watching experience. read more

Fancy movie theater! This is definitely a place you should treat yourself to if you never have been. Nice comfy reclining chair with a pillow and blanket awaits you once you have been shown to your assigned seat. There's a cubby on the side of the chair where you can tuck away your purse. I am not giving this place 4 stars because I asked one of the waiters for a beer and it never came, sadly. Aside from this incident, this place has top-notch service and amenities. I would not come here again because I am not millionaire. I spent about $60 for my ticket and food. Was it worth it? Yes, but just this one time. I don't think there's any other reason to come here other than for the experience or if you're trying to impress some girl/boy. The lighting in the whole place is dim/romantic and the lounge right outside of the movie theaters is cool place to chill and drink if you're waiting for a movie or whatever. I saw Total Recall here. We had a fantastic time at the IPic Theaters on Christmas Day 2015. We arrived about 1.5 hours before our movie, to enjoy some time in the lounge before the show. There were three of us in the party to see the 10:45PM showing of Joy. The lounge, which is two floors below the main entrance is in a very dark environment that is very beautiful and well appointed with plenty of areas to sit, lounge, chat and drink/eat with your friends. We just ordered drinks and enjoyed our time before the movie. About 15 minutes before start, we sat in our seats in the theater. We consistently enjoy the seats at Ipic and love the blankets and pillows. The service was pretty good on this night. This was our second time at Ipic and our first time at the Pasadena location. I would say that although we had a fantastic time, we are wondering why the ticket prices are usually about $3.00 higher in Pasadena than they are at the Westwood location? Also, to be honest we enjoy the decor (a lot of natural wood and more "lodge like") more in Westwood. With that said, we enjoyed our visit and would likely return to Pasadena as it is much closer to our home. read more

I loved it and I will be back! It's NOT a cheap date though, movie tickets and dinner/drink/desert over $100 a person. As usual on Friday night in LA, got stuck in traffic and arrived just in time to be seated, order our dinner and the movie started. What we missed was having a drink the great lounge/bar first. When you go, you will want to arrive at least and HOUR before your showing and relax, have a drink and enjoy the full experience (you paid for it). It's as nice as the W Hotels (even the soap and lotions in the bathroom are luxurious). I had my first Vanilla Martini and I want another one right now! The food was surprisingly wonderful! It's just dark in the theater for eating. I had the portobello mushroom sliders. They serve great chips with the meals, but be prepared for everyone crunching through the first 20 minutes! The assorted cookie platter was not so great. Yes, the tiny theaters are cozy with their reclining chairs. Take off your shoes, request a blanket, and watch a good movie. read more

My main issue is with their customer service- tickets must be purchased online, but the website doesn't always update/refresh which seats are available, I was looking to purchase two tickets and wasn't able to do this, despite the legend showing the seats as available. So, I decided to buy one at a time and by the time I refreshed the page to purchase the second ticket, they appeared as available but unable to purchase. There's no way to reach out to a direct help line. Their customer service goes to a VM and they say they will return your call. The website account isn't set-up to make modifications of the booking- with all the technology available they could find a way to automize some customer service features. read more

Am I fan? Absolutely! Is the price worth it? Not for your everyday movie-going experience, but definitely for when you wanna #treatyoself! You pay more than you will anywhere else, but you also get complimentary popcorn (that's like $7 savings right there), comfy seats, and an overall great move viewing experience. You can also order food; I didn't have any but was tempted when I saw what the people across the aisle ordered (and had delivered to their seat!) I must admit, my pillow had a stain on it. Long before the major chain movie theaters started reserved seating and reclining seats there was iPic! This is the original and in my opinion is still the best. First of all, arrive early and enjoy their lounge. The lounge very modern and your typical bar, high top tables and TV but they also have arm chairs and couches where you can enjoy specialty mixed drinks. Definitely sit in the couches and arm chairs. However, I wouldn't order food just yet!!! About 10-15 minutes before your movie make your way down to your seats. You'll notice the seats are like first class recliners in an airplane but better --- super plush and you're kind of secluded from those around you. Check out my pic... Very cozy! Now that you're settled in order your food. Most of the items are tapas... finger foods. Try a few few different plates. I always like the sliders, sweet potato fries, calamari and lobster roll. If you've timed it right, your food will come out in beginning of the movie. Now you can recline and dine! If you're still hungry or still want drinks, feel free to order during the movie by just hitting the little button on your table. You wont disturb anyone. NOTE TO THE FELLAS --- This is a great spot for a first or second date! Again, this is not like your regular chain theater that just started installing reserved reclining seats. You're going to be waited on by an excellent staff, cooked to order food & mixed specialty drinks brought to you! No standing in line to buy popcorn here. The lighting throughout the theater and lounge is low... but kind of romantic. Remember, your seat again is surrounded by a barrier... feels really cozy and intimate. They used to have hand cream in ladys room and better hand soap. $24/ticket for member (weekday), $29 for member (weekend). Fountain drink $4. Only popcorn and tap water are free. Service was a little bit below standard for me, because the servers didn't tell me if they put the point into my membership account. I'm so sad to say this place has been ruined by the horrible new seats... not only do you have these borders blocking the sound if you choose to sit in the back, but you also have uncomfortable seats that won't recline all the way back. Had a chance to go to the movies today for the first time since Covid-19. Came to IPic and the manager TIM was very welcoming and made sure we were good. The staff was great and friendly. Specially JESSICA, I believe she is also a bar tender. She new her shit! We asked her what she recommended for food and drinks, and she sure recommended the right things. Celebrating my friends lowkey birthday 2/12. We wanted to catch the late showing of "Knock At The Cabin" we pay for parking. Grab our tickets and head in. Sit down and the fire alarm sounds. It's almost 12am, about 45 degrees, we don't have coats. We rush outside. The employees let us know someone might have been vaping and triggered the alarms. We're outside for about 25-30 mins. I wanted to add time to my parking spot but it's not set up that way. We get back inside and the alarm triggers again. People start to leave again but we were assured it was the firemen clearing the alarm. I feel like for something like that a comp should be made or something to mitigate the inconvenience. That's a 24-dollar movie ticket. I had to rush outside after my movie to almost getting a ticket because the meters stop at 2am and it was 150am. I won't be back, kinda annoyed. The staff was nice, but that's it. Someone pulled through alarm otw out Intentional. Folks wanted an immediate refund and even they had to wait till it was all clear to do so. read more

Gold Class is a top notch, evening out experience with a movie thrown in. It really is like going to two different places. First you can have drinks and appetizers, then you go in at showtime and sit in a big comfortable chair and treated to quick. and friendly service throughout the show. Now, this is not for those that complain about $12 movie tickets. The tickets are $30 and the food and drink are equally pricey, but for a good date night to get dressed up and do something a little different (every once & awhile) it is worth the money. Tip: Certain foods shouldn't be eaten in the dark of a theatre. Eat well before showtime or chose wisely. PS: Keep the kids at home. Fantastic upscale movie theater. All the employees were great and the food was was excellent. This was me and my wife's 1st time here and we both said we will never go to a regular movie theater again. For the couples with kids, this is a great date night spot when you can get away. Many drink options and many food options to choose from and free popcorn !!! The prices are a little pricy but the atmosphere makes up for it. Gold Class Cinemas is a place that everyone should go to at least once in their lives...it's such a different kind of movie experience. Basically, you pay about double the price of a regular movie ticket to watch a movie in lazy boy chairs with the option of eating and drinking (alcohol included) while watching your movie! It's pretty genius. They also have lounge that you wait in before you are escorted to your assigned seats which is pretty nice too. There's usually a DJ playing and you can eat/drink in the lounge or choose to have your food brought to you during the movie. The food is excellent, including the desserts, and they have a decent selection of alcoholic drinks too. The staff are all very friendly and the quality of service is def worth the price of the tickets you pay. I was extremely happy with an incident I recently had with gold class and was impressed how quickly and EASILY it was resolved....My bf and I had bought tickets to see a movie on a Tuesday but I ended up having to go into work late so we couldn't make the show. Now, on the website for gold class, it says no refunds, exchanges or anything on your previously purchased tickets. Since I didn't wanna lose $40 I called them and told them I needed to change the date of my movie to another. They totally took care of it for me right over the phone with no problems!! I was so relieved! Usually, high end places like this don't care about issues like this so I was sooo impressed they took care of me. Got invited to an IPIC mixer the other night. Last minute I received a call from Barbara at IPIC Pasadena and she told me the mixer had been canceled due to lack of RSVP's, but she instead invited me to come down for an exclusive VIP experience instead. Wow the VIP experience was one of the best things we have ever done. We got to sample 4 drinks of our choice and 2 appetizers and received free movie tickets. It gave us the opportunity try new menu options and provide feedback to the IPIC staff. Our server Elke G was so awesome, she took such great care of us and made us feel like we were royalty.
