We took my wife's iPhone 6s in because she dropped it and the screen shattered. The salesman told us it would be a little under two hundred dollars to get it fixed. We left the phone there and headed back home. About ten minutes later we got a call and the salesman said it was ready to pick up. He said it was only the tempered glass protector that shattered and it would only cost $35. He could have easily waited longer, claimed he fixed the full screen and charged the full two hundred dollars. His honesty was very appreciated and they have gained a new long term customer. Went to this retailer to get a mobile device fixed. He made a bunch of promises (even in writing) about what I could expect in terms of quality of service. My experience was bad: he did not follow up on those promises. I left Logan and he had installed a bad screen on device and tried to make me feel bad for being unsatisfied. Just go to Expercom or the apple Store. You'll pay more upfront but you won't get cheated. Also, I've written reviews before and somehow he is deleting them. Just go somewhere else! read more

So initially I was *thrilled* with my iPhixd experience. I shattered the screen on my iPhone 5, and was desperate to get it fixed. I called and they were able to fix it immediately. The guy who was working there at the time even stayed 10 minutes past closing so that I could drop my phone off, and go to the gym while he fixed it. I thought - wow! that is great customer service!! I was happy for 2 days. Then the replacement glass on the screen cracked. I was holding it in my hand and I watched it crack and run, kind of like a windshield does. I went back in, and the guy told me that the glass is under no warranty. The only way I can get the glass repaired is to pay for a brand new repair all over again. I'm bummed out, because I paid ~$130 for new glass, and it's already cracked. I don't think it's iPhixd's fault, but they won't fix it, and that makes me mad. The glass should be warrantied for at least 30 days after installation... Make this right, iPhixd. I'm not happy about this at all. read more

I've had phones fixed here multiple times and not only is the service quick and great quality, but there are even different choices on the repair style, the service is great and friendly and the price is very competitive. I was very pleased with my service. Busted my iPhone 5S, and needed a fix. Apple wanted to replace my whole phone and I didn't have the funds for that. I took it to Gabe and he took care of me. As it turned out the screen replacement was faulty, and he took care and made sure I got another one that would last. Any problems I've had iPhixd has helped me out. Had an iPad fixed. The screen kept coming off afterward and the owner was incredibly rude when I complained. It's an emotional experience working with him and the quality is lacking. Also, my old review got deleted. Not sure how that happens but I suspect the owner has some way of deleting old reviews or starting a new page. iPhixd is under new ownership, and if past reviews are any indication, the new owners have definitely improved the quality of the business. We had a great experience with them. They have fixed batteries and screens for us. The work is done quickly and well, and they stand by their repairs. Also, iPhixd does not offer "discounts" in exchange for five-star reviews, which speaks highly of their business ethics. (Note: In the past we did use a "reviews for discounts" company - you have to leave the review before you get your phone back. This guarantees you make them look good before you realize that they really aren't. If you enter a store and they have this kind of a deal, walk away. There is no proof that they replace screens with apple approved products. I was told it was, but when turning in my phone, I will have to buy another perfectly good screen. Can we do zero stars here? How about hundreds of negative stars? Consider this fair warning - If you leave your phone with them too long THEY WILL THROW YOUR PHONE AWAY!!! They will do this despite your repeated attempts to get in before they close (even though they close early without notice) or trying to call (and they don't answer). 30 days is all you get, even if they're on vacation for two of those weeks and the other two your phone hasn't been attended to. We went to changed the screen for my ipad mini when it first opened. The home button didn't work when we brought it back and they fixed it for free during our second visit. Then, we went there again this year to fix my husband's iphone 6, which also has a broken screen.There was a couple of bright spots when we first get the phone back. So we took the phone back to iPhixd and they said it could be caused by some broken glass that was left inside the screen, which means they didn't clean up carefully before attaching the new screen. They decided to change the screen again for free, which is very nice. However, there was still two bright spots on the screen. We went there again in the next day. The staff said these spots will disappear in a week. So we waited for a week and those bright spots were still there and we also found that the front microphone doesn't work anymore. Although the staffs are very nice but we were very disappointed in the service and will not visit again. read more

For $130 and a lot of time and aggravation, I went from a WORKING phone with a cracked screen.... To a phone with a cracked screen that can't even be unlocked that is BROKEN beyond use. I have never been motivated to write a poor review for a company until today. My husband dropped his phone and cracked the screen. The phone was still functioning but the cracks were annoying. He took his phone in to have the screen replaced. He paid $130 up front for the screen to be ordered. When the screen arrived about a week later, he had the new screen put on. This screen had arrived defective, with a nick out of the top. The store employee told him to be careful and not break it further. When he tried to use his phone with the new screen, it was very difficult because it wasn't touch sensitive. The display changed colors to a muted and washed out look and there were some dead looking pixels on the opening screen. As luck would have it, his phone slipped off a table in our house onto the floor. I felt like a phone should be able to withstand a small fall like this. I felt like the glass broke like it did because it was a very cheap and subpar replacement. The company feels like glass breaks and he just dropped it too hard after being told not to. I acknowledge that they didn't see the phone fall and they can't control what happens to it after it goes out the door. This is where things get dicey for us and the company. The replacement screen comes in and is installed on the phone. It is also defective, not in appearance, but in the fact that the screen is not touch sensitive and will not work. So they offer to have us wait another few days for them to order another screen from a different supplier because they figured somehow they ordered two bad screens from a reputable company that were just unusually defective. They offer, for another $50, to order a screen from a good company ($190 total for a new screen and having to go in three times and wait all the days for the ordering in between). They offer to warranty this screen and if it doesn't work, they will be sure to take care of us. I counter offered them to pay $50 for the original defective screen that my husband broke further by dropping (because yes, that was his fault, yes he had been told to be careful, He had NOT been told the company couldn't get reimbursed for the detective screen of it didn't come back in exactly the same condition), $50 for the new screen from the good supplier, and leaving $30 for labor (the original $130 that we paid). They didn't feel that $30 for labor was enough since they had to work on the phone multiple times. Yes, they did. We also had to wait for a week between screens and go in and pick it up and wait for them to work on it so it was taking a lot of time for us also. He said that he was trying to make it right and make us happy. I asked him if word of mouth was worth anything to him. So here's my word of mouth. Just take the $130 and put it towards a new phone or try somewhere else. You'll have a working phone much faster than multiple trips, waiting for shipping and the aggravation and emotional toll of trying to work with this company. On the bright note, the company said none of this would be a problem if my husband hadn't dropped the phone. Yes, but none of this would be a problem if it wasn't a defective screen either. We're at a stale mate. We each have valid points. But my point is that, while they say they will go to bat for you, THEY WON'T MAKE ANY PROBLEMS RIGHT. read more

Worst experience ever! I shattered my iPhone screen, and I mean, shattered and was worried about all the glass falling out. So, I decided to take it to iPhixd for a repair. The phone was working perfectly before I took it in. After a few hours I got a call that said they couldn't get the screen working. It took them a few days, but they finally fixed it. A little over a month later the screen shut off, I was slightly concerned that they had ruined my phone, so I took it to the Apple Store in SLC. When they opened it up, there we parts missing! They wouldn't stand behind my warranty until I had all the original parts back. I took it back to iPhixed to see if they would be able to fix it, and it all snowballed from there. First, the home button cord got ripped, which they claimed was the Apple Stores fault, next the fingerprint scanner wasn't working, and then the phone wouldn't even turn on. Then and only then, they told me my phone had water damage, which it didn't. So I asked them to put all original parts back in it so I could go back to the Apple Store.
