My husband and I shop here quite often. This is where we get all of our cards and special little…read moregifts. The last time we were here, which was last Sunday the store was so hot I was sweating. I was trying to hurry and look for what I wanted to buy due to the outbreak of sweat starting to build up on my forehead. An older short man working there asked me if I needed any help finding anything. I said not at the time, but thank you. I notice my husband looking at some shirts then kinda made his way through the store rather fast. He was about to walk out and I asked if he was going to stand outside because it was to hot. But that was not the case. He left due to older msn following him around as if he was going to steal something. My husband is Mexican In his 60's. We dress nice. He's retired from the military and he looks like he's a cop. He's asked if he is one a lot. He never asked him if he needed help. I don't quite understand that. I will say you all just lost a customer. Your employees need to be taught not to speculate of which customers will still and to follow around. It made my husband uncomfortable. Being an older employee he should know better. Had my husband told me right then what had happened I would had gone back to the store and gave him a piece of my mind. My husband knows how I am so he waited until we were nearly halfway to Teb other side of the mall. If I could give NO STARS I would.

Luckily I already had known whom I forgot and whose days were to come, so I was able to navigate quite easily and not have those gawd awful feelings that come with a Hallmark in my face. I've never been a fan of picking out cards, I much rather bake something yummy to send off, but when I'm time crunching and it has to travel over 1400 miles quickly you get what you get, right? Cards are always full of cliche sayings, where I find myself crossing things out and editing the inside, it really is quite a sight to see the card after I have perfected its wordy cheesy faults. The customer database that Hallmarks uses is in serious need of an upgrade, I almost know the hell that is in store for me when I don't have my hallmark rewards card or little inconvenient key ring (yes they are inconvenient now because everyone does them so I swear I have more of those than keys now and have had to designate a ring of its own for all of them, which I always forget in the truck.) So back to the slow lack luster software, took both ladies at check out to find my rewards number using both computers/registers, at which point I said my phone number so many times they should have both just added me to their phone book, if not their mental phone book. They were both super helpful nonetheless and stuck it out with me like champs, thanks ladies, here is to hoping you get an upgrade to your systems in the next decade!
