In response to COVID-19, some gyms acted well others did not. I was injured at Invictus when the person spotting my bench failed to spot (they spend no time training members how to spot) and was laid out for several months after a 260 lb barbell hit my chest from 3 feet above me (the length of my arms). We agreed that my membership would be put on hold as I was convalescing. As soon as COVID-19, closed Boston Invictus reneged on that agreement and insisted that I pay $260 a month for a gym that was no longer open and knowing that I was too injured to work out. They treated the rest of the members similarly poorly by insisting that zoom classes were somehow the same thing by taking a widely liberal view of the contact for what it means to be a gym. Emailed the gym ahead of time to book my drop-in WOD and they were quick to accommodate. I was truly excited to experience the personal attention since they cap their classes at 10 and my crossfit home gym does not have a cap. Conveniently located near the hotel, it was short walk and easy to find. The gym is a the typical box, gritty and the look of a hard workout is about to happen here. I was the first to arrive and immediately greeted by coach Eric. He quickly checked me in and I made them aware of needing modifications on certain movements. He gave me some stretches I can use. The class was composed of warm up/agility, stretching, strength training and finally the WOD. The coach did not assume I knew the movements which I appreciated and he showed us proper form for every movement. We used agility hurdles to warm up with burpee penalty for knocking down the hurdles, which is good practice in discipline. I felt warmed up after the hurdles having to fulfill burpee penalties twice. Then we used foam roller, kettle bell and racquet ball to warm up and shoulder mobility. We spent a good 20 minutes for warm up and mobility which is helpful and much needed. Strength training was another 20 minutes of push press. The coach was helpful in making sure our form was correct and efficient. I felt more accomplished in getting the form right and he made sure of that. Finally, our WOD was a challenging chipper with 3 movements at high reps. It was daunting at first and I was gassed but I got through it with the coach's encouragement. The coach was motivating without being militant. It is obvious the gym does well in providing top notch instuction. Limiting their class size provides the individualized attention needed to avoid poor form and injuries. CFF is great for any fitness level and makes crossfit an attainable activity for anyone. read more

Pretty stellar gym! Last Wednesday I flew into Boston to go to a buddy's wedding. However, I wanted to get a workout before the bachelor party and wedding festivities began - I knew that I needed to preemptively burn some calories before 4 straight days of binge drinking began. The night before I convinced my Dad to come with me to the 7:30am class. So, we trekked over to the Crossfit Fenway box, which is basically across the street from Fenway park. The Crossfit Fenway box was an old tire repair and replacement store. Interesting, but seemed to be perfect. High ceilings, a couple of small rooms, and the actual "garage" was setup with all sorts of hoops and other craziness. The trainer du jour was Stacey who was very nice and enthusiastic. My Dad has a slipped disc and some other garbage from when he was a youth that still affects him today. He was initially reluctant to do anything that we were doing, but Stacey and I convinced him to workout with us. Stacey spent a little extra time working with him because she knew he had an injury and he had never done push presses and the other fun stuff that we were working on that day. I'm fairly certain he thinks I am insane for doing Crossfit, haha. The equipment seemed plentiful. Little unusual that everything was in kilos, but they had the conversions up on the wall. The reason why I am giving them 4/5 instead of 5/5 is because their drop-in fee was $30, which is pretty outlandish in my book. Sure, I understand that they're trying to encourage peeps to join with a full membership, but I'm from Austin, TX so not likely to be doing so anytime soon. read more

CFF is far and away the best CrossFit gym and community I've ever experienced. I've been participating in the sport for 3.5 years now, being part of gyms in Orange County, CA and here in Boston, MA. Finding CrossFit Fenway was a real blessing. I've been here for about 2 years now, and the experience just gets better and better. When I first started, the small class sizes were new to me, as was the programming of strength exercise, followed by an endurance WOD. These two elements became some of the best features of the CFF experience. Small classes (10-person cap) means much more hands-on coaching, and workout mates who develop a rhythm and rapport with you over time. Coaches learn your strengths, weaknesses, and even injuries, and are happy to tailor workouts to your skill level. I've gone through a few periods of injury since joining CFF (my own fault in all cases), and the coaches, notably Eric, Joe, and Sam have always had a dozen different ideas for adjusting a given workout to work around my injury. About 6 months ago, I decided to focus on Olympic Lifting and strength building to match my endurance level. After an hour conversation with the owner, Eric Siegel, he had whipped up an Oly programming schedule for the next 10 weeks. By the time I was done with the programming, I had a 25-lb PR on my snatch, and a 35-lb PR on my clean & jerk. These gains would not have happened without a good programming routine that was tailored to build up my particular weaknesses for those two lifts. Though I'm now moving back to Southern California, I will always be grateful for the investment CFF and its staff made in my fitness development. CrossFit Fenway is like my second home in Boston. I've been coming here for roughly 2 years now and there's something about this box that keeps me coming back week after week. At the end of every day, I still look forward to the physical and mental ass-kicking that's in store for me here. I started back when they were in their old location and even though the facility has expanded, the quality has stayed the same. Everything from the small class size, knowledgeable coaches, and welcoming atmosphere makes this box feel like home. Whether you are looking to just lose some weight or become the next Rich Froning, they will help you achieve your goals. Sure, there are plenty of other great gyms in the area (and some way closer to me), but when you come to CrossFit Fenway, they really make you feel like you're a part of their family. They listen to your goals and push you harder than you would normally push yourself. The only downside is that is expensive. It's roughly 2-3 times more expensive than any other conventional gym. But at the end of the day, you cant really argue with results. Before I started, I thought I was in good shape going to the gym 4-5 times a week. It's crazy how many gaps CrossFit points out in your fitness regimen. On the plus side, they do have discounts for first responders and students to help offset the cost. If you're on the fence about CrossFit, just sign up for a free class. And don't just sign up for a free class here. This is the only gym that has ever had me happily jumping out of bed at 4:30 am twice a week, ready to eat breakfast in plenty of time to digest before the 5:30am class. Beyond the fantastic (and fantastically attractive) staff, it's so much better to work out in a small-group setting, where you can have easy access to personal attention from the trainer and a healthy dose of peer pressure to complete that last squat/pushup/ring dip/etc. and finish the workout. You don't need to be crazy in shape to start - everything can be modified for the level you are currently at. I've gone beyond what I thought my body could endure - I have a degenerative knee condition, and the trainers have always been able to modify the routine on the fly. Been a member since March this year, and my only regret is that I didn't start sooner. I haven't done weighted exercises in about 4 years from fear of doing it wrong. Crossfit emphasizes correct form, and I haven't had a problem or injury yet. I trust the trainers just as much as I trust my Orthopedic Surgeon (he also vouched for Crossfit). . Why did I start? Well, my sister is in the Army, and started while she was deployed in Iraq. Think that's just for crazy fit people? So did I. But then, one of my friends (43 yrs old) started crossfit in another part of the country, came back to visit six months later 40 lbs lighter with an ass that made my mouth water. Yes, please! My favorite thing about Crossfit is that everyone competes with just their own progress and personal records. I don't feel bad finishing last as a newbie - I'm just happy to make it through the workout with good form and a higher weight/rep count than the last time. The other members are really encouraging, and when they finish a workout, they stay and cheer you on until the whole team makes it through the workout. I can't tell you how many workouts I got to the mental breaking point, and blew past it because I had the support of everyone else keeping me going. I was a member of this box for about a year before I moved to the other side of the river. I have been to four different boxes around the country, and no box compares to CrossFit Fenway. PROS: - The coaching, overall, is pretty fantastic. Instruction is clear. Classes are run efficiently. The coaches are fun and know how to lead. - The hour is jam-packed. There is (roughly) 20 minutes of a warm-up w/ flexibility / mobility / stretching, 20 minutes of strength training, and 20 minutes of WOD (work out of the day). There is no dilly-dallying and no time wasted. - There are a TON of classes. You can work out here in the morning, afternoon, or night. There IS a time that will work for your schedule. No excuses. - Classes are capped at 10. This is hugely important. It ensures you get great instruction. It also ensures there is enough equipment for everyone. There are 10 rowers, 10 ropes, 10 sets of rings, etc. That's all they need. No waiting for equipment. No conducting WODs in heats. - There is a huge focus on mobility, flexibility, and stretching. Gonna work shoulders today? Let's loosen them up. Burned your quads yesterday? Let's stretch them out. This is something no other box I have been to focuses on. - The space is huge and well-organized. There is thought to where things are placed. It's also well-decorated and has a fun vibe to it. - The website is social. The blog is great, and the posts are a great place to keep track of your progress and compare yourself to old WODs. CONS: - The only negative to the coaching is that sometimes you need to be willing to speak up when you want help or to be looked at because a coach is chatting to someone else not in the class. It's a very social gym, and you'll sometimes need to keep a coach focused on you and not his or her friends. - This box is expensive...far more expensive than any other box I have been to. I was only in Boston for a couple of months but wanted to get involved in CrossFit. CrossFit Fenway was within walking distance, so I gave it a go. I was not disappointed. The staff are extremely knowledgable and easy-going, and they give you that extra push when you need it. Everything was super organized, and they even update their blog daily with the workout of the day and other tidbits. Class sizes are limited to keep the student to instructor ratio at 10:1 or less, and signing up for classes via their website is really easy (if doing it on the iPhone, download the Google Chrome app). Anyway, enough rambling. I saw great advances in my physical and mental strength in just two months, and I was sad to leave Boston, in large part due to this program. I am a pole fitness instructor and I had 4 remarkably strong girls in class one day. They told me they all went to CrossFit Fenway so being a fitness nerd I had to go try it out. I just got home from my first (extremely difficult) session, but I feel so energetic! The coach/trainer person made me do things I never would have forced myself to do, like 36 pull ups, or (god forbid) running. Like another reviewer here, the gaps in my workout routine were exposed. You get a complete, intense, no frills workout at CrossFit Fenway, with knowledgable, professional, and friendly staff. They kept me on my toes and I know I'll be sore tomorrow. VISITING CROSSFITTERS STAY AWAY!!! This box is overpriced and unfriendly!!! 30 dollars per drop in and there is no real coaching or attention given to visitors. If you are in town for multiple days you will be charged. I've visited box's in multiple states and have never encountered such an unfriendly environment, and it stems from the trainers and especially the manager Eric. I witnessed him yelling at a person who walked in off the street looking to join the gym, he treated him as if he was there to rob the place. If you enjoy a good WOD and a friendly crossfit environment, this gym is not for you! read more

I came here for a one day trial yesterday and it was a REALLY REALLY HARD WORK OUT (5 rounds for time, 50 min cap of 22 kettle bell swings, 22 box jumps, 400 meter run, 22 burpees, and 22 wall balls). Never in my life have I felt as sore as today. I was overall impressed with the way they took care of me when I walked in-- gave me a run down of the gym and prices and explained the way their box worked, etc. I didn't feel like anyone was overly friendly but friendly enough for sure. I went to a 9am class with just 4 people which was nice. I think my only issue was the coaching wasn't as personalized as I would have hoped for a class of 4 people. A 50 minute work out with all these movements like box jumps and kettle bell swings actually can use a lot of a coaching-- you need to be motivated to get through such an extensive work out and also there is a lot room for improving your movements in things like box jumps and wall balls. But this coach said very very little to me the entire time which sort of sucked and made for an excruciatingly painful work out. I won't join but I'm glad I tried it. I think the box should also give people a free WEEK at least--the membership is around 250 a month, shouldn't you be sure you want it before you sign up for something so expensive? Who can make a decision after just ONE HOUR? Positives:- -nice people -lots of students -great location (I bet they do drinks around the area maybe after Friday night WODs?) -Clean, open space -Easy to do 400m runs, etc. Tamara read more

CFF is by far the best CF gym and community in Boston. Everybody is tremendously welcoming and the coaches are extremely supportive and knowledgeable. Neither myself or my fiance had ever done Crossfit and she had never done serious weightlifting at all, and the CFF team did a great job of easing us into it and minimizing the risk of injury. The usual workouts start with a 5-10 minute warmup/stretching (although the word "warmup" is too soft, these can be tough!), 20-30 minutes of strength or skill work (deadlifts, squats, handstand work, etc), and then 10-20 minutes of WOD. Fridays tend to be hero or benchmark WODs. I found the programming to be great and well thought out. The workouts are posted on the website blog the night before and Eric and the team do all of the programming themselves. There tend to be 4-5 week cycles of both strength and warmups so you can really dig deep and focus on specific skillsets or movements and see improvement over the course of the cycle. One of the best things about CFF is the management. Eric is friendly, helpful, and always looking out for you. When traveling for work for a week or vacation for two weeks it was super easy to put a hold on the account. There's no fee or forms or painstaking procedures to follow you can just shoot Eric an email and he is always more than understanding. In fact my fiance missed a week and forgot to put a hold on and Eric actually emailed her and put a retroactive hold on without us saying anything. CFF is about as far from a globo-gym as you can get and is a real community. We were members for over a year. Back in January we decided to move to Somerville and every single part about the move was an improvement except the distance from CFF. Unfortunately it became inconvenient for us to commute early in the AM to CFF and then back home before work so we had to stop going. If we ever move to an apt more convenient to CFF from where we are today you can bet our first stop after getting our keys will be back in the box though. read more

I always like dropping in on other boxes when I travel because it let's me explore how their programming works. Living in Orange County, CA I was curious to see what the WOD would be like in a more city like environment especially if the WOD includes sprint work. Luckily that day it was mostly power snatch, kettlebell swings and maybe pull ups? Honestly it's been a little over a year so forgive my tardiness on my review. Overall I would come back here if I'm ever in town, I wear my CrossFit Fenway tank all the time to my box, CrossFit Vibe. This is a very special place to work out. So much more than a gym. So much more than a place to learn great weight lifting technique. If you're like me and looking to get in shape and know you need more discipline than a $10/month gym membership but can't really justify the cost of a trainer then this place is for you. Crossfit Fenway takes coaching very seriously. Within a few days of starting every muscle in my body was sore (I could literally barely use a pencil!) and every trainer knew me by name. The relationships you quickly gain with the trainers is central to each athlete's success. They all know what you're capable of and what you're not, so you're constantly pushing yourself harder and seeing great results. They offer nutritional and overall support as well so that you're not just getting their attention for the 60 minute class. The gym is extremely female friendly - something I misunderstood about Crossfit which I originally considered only for the tattoo-covered body building type. The classes tend to be made up of 20-somethings but there are plenty of over 40 members and college students, too. The members take the gym very seriously and know each other. There are lots of official and unofficial gym gatherings at local bars and restaurants which surprised me and made my relationship with the gym much stronger. Because when there's a class and trainer expecting you to be there you'll probably show up instead of just sitting on your couch and watching a promotional ad for workout equipment like you're probably doing now. Join this gym. You won't regret it. You'll walk in a little nervous but you'll walk out sore and proud and covered in sweaty high fives from the rest of the folks working hard alongside you! read more

I really wanted to try CrossFit but was intimidated by everything I've read and seen. I bought the bullet and took the free trial and could not have been more pleasantly surprised. The staff are friendly and because I was taking the free trial, someone else who had never done it before was there. I'm not sure how often that happens but trying it for the first time with someone else was very confidence boosting. Cannot recommend trying it and staying a while! read more

I have been a member of CrossFit Fenway for 3 months and love it. After hearing me rave about the workouts (and seeing my physical improvement!), my wife joined a month ago and feels the same way. We are both 37 and had never lifted weights before; I would have described us as reasonably fit (e.g., sporadic yoga, spinning, running) but not athletic. So my perspective is from someone completely new to weight-lifting and most of the things we do on a rotating basis as CrossFitters. Basically, each Monday-Thursday class is exactly one hour - they always start and end on time. It begins with a warm-up and stretching, which vary by coach. A 20-30 minute strength portion follows, such as 5 sets of 3 back squats or deadlifts. The coach introduces and demonstrates the lift and keeps an eye on people as they go through their sets. That is followed by the WOD (workout of the day), which varies tremendously from day to day. It is usually some combination of different movements - maybe jumping on a box, maybe rowing, sometimes running, or kettlebell swings, or pushups, or pullups, or air squats, or a diabolical movement called a thruster, or pushing a weighted sled, or throwing a weighted ball high against a wall, or heaving concrete balls onto your shoulder, or climbing a rope to touch the ceiling, or any number of other things. WODs vary in length - usually 6-10 minutes - but they all leaving you gasping. And the coaches at CFF are great at helping you adjust or "scale" the workout to make it "doable" yet still extremely challenging. All components are scalable: can't do a straight pull-up? Then use one of three varying thicknesses of bands under your foot to help propel you up, and next time use a weaker band or try without. I started with the 9 class basic training sequence, which was an extensive introduction to the various lifts and many of the movements we use on a weekly basis. I highly recommend it for anyone, even experienced lifters. The movements build on one another, and the coaches are good at emphasizing the most important things, such as using your hips or changing direction. I am the sort of person who needs to be in a group environment or class to really push myself. Alone in a gym, I slack off. The group atmosphere at CFF is supportive. The vibe is friendly to everyone, no matter how experienced or strong...or what sort of shape you are in. It is small enough that you will know most people but still always meet a few new folks each week. Folks root for one another. Classes are capped at 10 (and often only 4-6 people), and that really matters if you are new to lifting. Things like snatches and clean and jerks are complex, intimidating, and easy to do incorrectly. The coaches at CFF are excellent and really care about helping you improve your technique. Since it is a small place, the coaches get to know you and invest the time to help you progress as an individual and at your own pace. Most of my classes have been with Sam and Maralene, and both are absolutely outstanding. They know me and what I need to work on. CFF is expensive - much more expensive than a regular gym membership - but my wife and I think it is absolutely worth every dollar. The value-added by the coaches is more than what I've had with personal trainers in the past, and we both feel healthier and stronger at 37 than we ever have in our lives. The CrossFit attitude seems to be to focus on fitness and let other things (e.g., losing weight, toning) come as a byproduct of that. I like that attitude. After 3 months, there is absolutely no sense of monotony or boredom; I look forward to the blog and Facebook post each evening telling us what we will do in the morning's WOD. I see us sticking with CrossFit - and CrossFit Fenway in particular - for a very long time. If you think that all you need is motivation, then this might be the place for you. I needed an environment that would make me want to work out. A regular gym was too much freedom - I almost never went, and when I did, I had no direction. At CrossFit Fenway, I have to sign up for classes, so I am sure to show up, and the small group format gives me the motivation and direction I need. The results have been exceptional. After 9 months, I am in the best shape of my life. The trainers know their stuff, and are very willing to scale the workouts to each individual's needs. Their enthusiasm is contagious. An update. I recently had heart surgery and returned after 6 months of inactivity. The instructors were amazing. Eric took me in privately to see what I could handle and what I could not handle. I was a member of this gym for a year before I moved to Philadelphia for graduate school. I can't say enough positive things. I began my journey with CrossFit with a free trial membership here, then continued for about 4 weeks with their beginners classes, and finally moved to becoming a regular. Because of their amazing coaching staff, exceptional programming, and great workout space, within a year I achieved levels of improvement I never could have imagined. CrossFit became more than a workout, but a lifestyle, and this box became more than a gym, it became my family. I would never have left it I wasn't moving. I miss this box everyday. Many people have commented on the price of the membership, which I agree is very expensive. However, for the high level of coaching and personalized attention you will be getting, in my opinion it is worth every dollar. read more

The scheduled group workouts pack tremendous bang for their buck. Working out with a group and a trainer means that you're doing something productive every second you're there. There's no loafing at Crossfit Fenway. I've seen strength and performance gains in myself and the other member happen faster than I would have thought possible. I've been known to drop into this place occasionally. This is a quintessential crossfit box. Most of the coaches here are experienced, master-motivators; they are able to get the best out of you, while improving your techniques and furthering your fitness goals. If you are looking for a lavish facility full of amenities (e.g. locker rooms, towel service), this probably is not the place for you. However, the community at this gym is more than able to compensate for the gym's raw nature. $200/month may seem steep, but if you are going to splurge on something, you may as well invest in your long-term health. Try it out for a week, and the place will absolutely ruin Boston Sports Clubs for you, IMHO. read more

I've been training at this Crossfit gym for about a year now, and I love it. The coaches, who happen to all be elite competitors, are all highly knowledgeable and attentive, and the programming is sensible (not slapdash) and REALLY effective. For example, they'll often have us do some benchmark, like a 1RM, a benchmark WOD, or a time trial on the rower, then do a cycle of weekly programming aimed at improving that benchmark. Nearly every time, I'm really surprised at how much my benchmarks improve through their programming. The regulars here are a fun group as well, both in and out of the gym. read more

Crossfit Fenway is an amazing place. The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and so supportive - I am in better shape than I ever thought I could be (and I this is after running two marathons and countless half marathons!). The other members of this gym are incredibly supportive as well - I have met so many awesome folks, both students and working professionals of all ages. I have so many reasons why I love working out at Crossfit Fenway. There is a stretching/mobility component to each work out , which I feel has been a huge reason why I've stayed injury free! The coaches help me scale the workout to my fitness level, making each workout challenging, but not impossible. I feel so accomplished and so proud of myself after each one! The workouts change daily, so I never get bored! As I get stronger, I scale them differently, and have started working on different skills. Another reason why I love CFF workouts is sometimes they program workouts named after fallen heros - usually a soldier who has died protecting freedoms around the world. When you are in the middle of a tough workout, suddenly your "tough time" doesn't seem so bad when you think about the friends and family that soldier left behind. It gives me a little perspective on my day and helps me remember that I am part of a community. During all the workouts, other members and coaches are constantly cheering you on and giving you words of support - its just the coolest thing, and makes me feel so special and such an important part of Crossfit Fenway, even though I'm just one member out of many (and I'm by far not the strongest, fastest, and certainly dont have have the best jokes!). I joined CFF almost 5 months ago as a way to stay in shape while attending classes at Boston College. I have been doing Crossfit for over two years, and I can say that Crossfit Fenway is as good as it gets. The coaches are top notch. Each brings his or her own specialty to the classes and they take the time to really get to know each member that walks through the door. Within a week of my signing up, they showed me where I was faulty in technique and training, and then took the time to show me new ways of completing movements that took my performance to a new level. They also know the members on a more personal level beyond simply coach and pupil. I cannot remember a time that I walked through the door and I was not asked about either school or life in general. The small classes also help to make the class experience the best that it could be. Beyond just giving the coaches a better opportunity to help everyone individually, the fact that classes never exceed 10 people gave me the chance to get to know everyone around me. This led to us helping each other when the days got really tough, and it was a good feeling to know that even though I was going to workout and get my butt kicked, I was also going to say hello to new friends and catch up a little bit. It is a true community that they have a CFF. Although I am not a member of CFF any longer (due to the fact that school work has made it impossible to attend regularly), I HIGHLY recommend this gym to anyone who is looking for a way to either start or continue their Crossfit career. Highly recommend CFF. I had never done Crossfit before when I started in April 2015 with some personal coaching. At 45, I really wondered whether it was more for 20 somethings, than a guy in his mid 40s. Was I wrong? Five months after starting, I've seen really great results -- far beyond anything I've accomplished on my own or at other gyms. I really like that Eric and his team meet you where you are -- no matter your fitness level. They can scale any of the workouts so you never feel like you can't finish or accomplish it. I also really like Crossfit because it's always different -- no two workouts are the same so your body never gets used to it. I was someone - probably like most guys -- who mostly did upper body and rarely worked his core. I can;t believe how 5 months of CFF has changed that. I typically go two days per week for a one hour class in the morning, and for me, it's enough. But, it's awesome that I get better results from two days at Crossfit than I did working out at other gyms 4-5 times per week. Finally, this review would not be complete if I didn't rave about Maralene Zwarich, one of CFF's coaches. She's phenomenal -- best 1:1 training I've ever had. She teaches the movements VERY well so you never feel like you don't know what you are doing. She's also a great communicator and clearly passionate about what she does. My advice if you are not quite ready for a cross fit class -- work with Maralene 1:1. You won't be sorry. Recommend her in the highest way possible. read more

I know this is so lame to say, but Crossfit Fenway totally did change my life. I have been working out forever ( I even work at another gym), and I have never made such gains in my fitness as I have with CFF. The trainers make the difference. They are very knowledgable ( and not hard on the eyes either! haha). I have been a gym rat forever..signing up for every kickbox/bootcamp/ cardio class imaginable... I even had a person trainer for 3 months. Those were nothing compared to the workouts that CFF has. They are classes, you sign up to go to a certain class at a certain time and a trainer takes you through the hour long class. They are always watching your form and gently correct you if you are doing something incorrectly. And, it is like a family there. It is the most positive and encouraging environment that I have ever been around. Noone cares what you are wearing- T shirts and shorts- nothing fancy. You could be 100lbs overweight or a beanpole looking to increase strength and agility- there is something for everyone at CFF. I had many goals when I started but one of the main ones was to be able to do pullups. I started with no upper body strength and now I can do strict bodyweight pullups. It took a few months, and it was hard, but it was worth it. I would never have made my fitness gains without CFF. They know when you need to be pushed, and they know when to back off and encourage you at whatever level you are at. They 100% have my vote. Sure, they are pricey, but they have student and military discounts. This is one of those things where you should just bite the bullet and pay the membership. It will be the best investment of your life. And, really, what is a better investment than your body? I would rather pay a crap ton on an amazing gym becoming healthy than paying for pills to lower this and that and surgeries to unclog my arteries because of an unhealthy, sedentary lifestyle.
