Robert and Michelle are very nice people but it's a terrible way to run a business! We dropped off the motor and didn't get a call back from the business for three months! We had to reach out to them first (left a message) before we had communication. Not only are they impossible to reach (because they never answer the phone) but they also may take several days to call you back. We had to call them BEFORE they started to work on the motor. Several weeks later we got a call back from them that the motor was done. Prior to that we had no indication what the cost would be. We soon learned that, even though we were from out of town we had very little time to pick up the motor before the storage fees started! We made arrangements to drive 250 miles to pick up our motor on a specific day and found that the business was closed. No emergency number and again no way to contact them! We learned from neighboring businesses that they "close when they want!" We had to incur the additional cost of renting a room and meals for an additional day! While we waited on the 2nd day, another customer drove up and expressed their issues as well as saying that as soon as they picked up their property they would not be back! We were lucky! A worker that supposedly lives on-property saw us and helped us out! Communication is non-existent! Stay Away!

In summer, the waters are low, so not much speed and more rock to avoid, but the guides are amazing and know the waters well. There were plenty breaks in between mini thrills, which made it perfect for beginners. Dan offered patience, humor, and history as we rafted and as long as we worked together and followed his directions, we were good. The opportunity to get out of the raft to swim and rock jump, was a nice treat. River adventures were organized, which made the experience easy and fun!
