The installation was completed quickly and efficiently in half a day and the technicians were professional, knowledgeable, and clearly experienced. Before hiring EZ Breeze, I did my homework. I checked the Better Business Bureau and verified their contractor's license through the California state licensing website. I found no complaints going back 10 years, which was as far back as the records I reviewed. Their license was also in good standing, with no disciplinary issues or complaints noted. What impressed me just as much was their honest and fair pricing. I obtained estimates from other companies, and two were attempting to charge me approximately $5,000 more for comparable work. He was super friendly and attentive, and he even kept us updated with his ETA, which was definitely a huge plus and very helpful. When he arrived, he did a diagnostic on the unit. It turned out the pressure was perfectly fine, and all we needed to do was change the filter because it was extremely dirty and was causing the AC to not blow cool air. Here's the crazy part: my fiancé had called another company the night before, and their technician gave us a $1,100 quote for "high maintenance" on the unit. I showed the quote to Kevin, and he was completely honest with us and told us that our AC was working perfectly fine and that we didn't need any of those services! I'm honestly so glad I called Kevin. As someone who doesn't know much about AC systems, it's easy to feel pressured into paying for services you may not actually need. This experience was a great reminder to always get a second (or even third) opinion. As for Kevin, you can absolutely trust his honesty, professionalism, and genuine willingness to help. A huge thanks to Anthony and Tiffany for coordinating all the logistics, Anthony in particular was so helpful from start to finish, always available, responded immediately to any question, and just made the whole process incredibly easy. An especially big thanks to our installer Bobby and his crew who did such an exceptional job carefully removing the old system and doing a beautiful install of the new one. They also completely reworked the AC closet, moving the system forward and sealing everything off cleanly, what was once a poorly converted linen closet now has potential for usable space behind it. Whereas the old system sounded like a jet engine taking off, the new Mitsubishi is astonishingly quiet, the condenser is outside our bedroom and you hear literally nothing. It works flawlessly and has been keeping the house perfectly cool through what's shaping up to be a hot summer. This was not an easy install either. The house, like many older homes, is full of quirks and Diamond did an amazing job working around all the pitfalls that come with squeezing a central HVAC system into a house not originally designed for one. Thus, when our 20+ year AC unit went south on us recently, Manny's was the first place I called. After giving a quite reasonable and competitive estimate, I set things up with Cecelia....who arranged to have Andrew and his crew come out several days later. Along with arriving right on time, they worked fast and diligently moving out the the very large and heavy unit that I've used for many years, and then setting up the new one. In this regard, I should also mention, on Manny's advice, we switched from gas to electric...which seems to work far better than our previous unit which relied on gas. In addition, given the fact that our ducts were showing some of the wear and tear of the past 20-years (which included a few puncture holes in them), I arranged to with Manny to have a crew return to replace them. Again, the pricing was competitive and the job was done in less than a day. It's also worth mentioning that along with a very polite and courteous crew, everything in our backyard was left exceptionally clean. The owners Shawn was so incredibly helpful & knowledgeable. He came to inspect our property the next day. We pulled our permits as "owner builder" which was a hard project, but got through it pretty well. However, I had trouble understanding what this report was all about. Shawn totally gave me the rundown on how it worked, sharing so much information with me so I was able to comprehend what was needed. We had a lil hiccup with our report, it required our plans to be modified, which he took the extra steps to help us overcome. After a long season of working with many tradesmen, handymen, other workers, inspectors, ect.... I'm grateful to have had Shawn see us over the finish line.
