I text her, and she tells me that someone else will be coming, and they should've contacted me. Then I get a call from dispatch, who tells me the other nurse is 40 min away. Unprofessional and unacceptable to call me after my scheduled appointment, to tell me that it'll be 45 minutes late. I had clients for work that needed to be moved, due to this inconvenience. Dispatch assured me I would be refunded for this inconvenience, and I haven't heard a peep. No response to my emails, and the infusion was about 3 weeks ago. In addition, while the nurse was friendly, and she did everything as I assume she's supposed to... she didn't stay to make sure I was OK (this was my first iron infusion), nor did the company follow-up to ensure I didn't have any side effects. This is grossly negligent. When dealing with at-home medical procedures, as routine as this MIGHT be, you need to be following up with patients. For some people, perhaps home-bound, or for those just needing some energy to perk you out of your hangover, maybe this is a fine service. But I didn't feel like it was up to snuff, at all. And I am still waiting for that refund.
