I had a new HD replaced in Nov 2020 from another store,Mobile Kangaroo. This drive has now failed 9 months later and even though the drive is still under manufacturers warranty, Mobile Kangaroo wouldn't offer to replace it. Recently I migrated from PC to MAC. To say this was a mess is an understatement. Sergio was incredible at migrating all my data and even restoring old data from an old iPod. I had gone to another consultant before that messed up my machine. Sergio fixed the directory, my photos, my music and my mail. He enabled me to sync between my desktop and laptop. This is THE place I will bring my computer issues to for now on. So many computer repair places feel (and are) sketchy. Not this place. Sorry for the long post, but I need to set up the story. I have an older 2012 Macbook Pro (it was top of the line when I bought it and it runs better than my newer 2017 Macbook- so I wanted to keep it!). I was trying to do a minor repair on my laptop by putting on new rubber feet on the bottom. Simple right? Well, while trying to get the old rubber pieces out of the bottom to put the new ones in, I used a pointy metal object and somehow just barely nicked the battery. It got really hot and I thought my computer was going to burst into flames. So I brought it into the APPLE store and they said they would need to replace the battery. They then called me and told me that it would need a new logic board as well and they don't support my my computer any more due to its age. And it would be very expensive to replace - they even recommended they could recycle my computer for me if I wanted. I decided to see if I could find someone to fix it. So I searched around and this was the only place that would take a look at it and diagnose it for free. So I brought it in. After diagnostics, they said they could send it out to their specialist as it may have needed to be repaired by him. And that it would be free for him to diagnose it as well. Well it turned out they had disconnected the battery and since it sat for a little while, by the time the specialist got it, the capacitors must have reset or something and it worked! No repairs needed at all! I asked about the battery and he said that Apple must have replaced the battery and when they couldn't get it to work they must have left it in and not removed it. So here is why I love this place. 1) There was no charge for them to diagnose. That is huge! 2) They were going to another level of service to send it to their specialist to take a look at it without them charging me for an even more detailed diagnostic. 3) They could have told me they replaced the battery and fixed it. But they didn't do that and said Apple must have replaced it. 4) They didn't charge me at all for anything after they put a good amount of time into sorting the problem out. Now I am not saying you wont pay anything, I got lucky. I would have happily payed them for their time since they did put time into it, but they said not to worry about it. So in the end, I just want to say that the service was top notch, the staff was friendly, the shop was clean and most importantly they went above and beyond in their service and were HONEST!!! By the way they repair both MAC and PC. This is my new go to place for anything computers. read more

This is the place to take your Apple product for repair.! Outstanding customer service and knowledge. My son's laptop sat at Fry's Electronics for over 3 weeks, having a new hard drive installed. It was installed incorrectly - they even forgot the screws! Couldn't get it to work, made more excuses than I could count. No call backs etc. Picked it up from Fry's not working, brought to INTOSH. I had a callback in less than 4 hours and a perfect working computer the next morning. Never again would I go to Fry's but I will recommend Intosh to everyone! read more

One of the guys spent 10-15 minutes with me to run some diagnostics to confirm it was dead. They even checked to see if it was possible to save any of the data. I have dealt with Intosh for many years and they are consistently reliable. A year ago or so I shot myself in the foot by taking my Mac desktop to the "genius" bar for what was obviously even to me a memory problem. It took them two weeks not to figure it out. Intosh had it diagnosed and repaired in less than a day. And, their place is convenient and serene. Anyone can call himself a genius, but what you want is actual know-how. read more

We have used Intosh for our medical office for over ten years. Hany is always available for any issues we have. On the rare occasion a technician is not available to speak with us when we call, we receive a return phone call within 1/2 hour. Their service cannot be beat. Initially Intosh provided great customer service until I requested any form of verification that my machine was actually infected. They tried to charge me $75.00 without any type of proof that my machine was "highly infected". When I confronted the owner as to why I was told that my machine was "highly infected" he became very defensive and in the middle of working on my machine he told me I could leave with my laptop if I wanted to. Intosh also says they guarantee all of their work, but after I got my laptop back from the store it started up three times slower than before I brought it in. Bottom line: just go to the Apple store and save yourself the time and money. Bunch of stuck up Mac nerds working here who don't have your best interest in mind and only see dollar signs when you walk through the door looking for help. No thanks! read more

My laptop kept shutting off throughout the day. They tested it for a full day without any problems. They explain to me how to test my system at my home To find out what is bad. They even offered to connect online and test my home system. I couldn't ask for a better response. They did not charge me for any of their testing. Very disappointed. Brought in a cracked iPhone screen. The repair took five hours and the price was $195. They reduced it to $175 after my complete surprise. My fault for not checking but I truly didn't think it would be over 1.5x going to the Apple store. To make matters worse, they clearly are not using the original manufacturer's screen but rather one that has a different color scale. So much for using the small local provider. You are better off working directly with Apple. read more

Seemed great at first. I had several things that needed to get done in my office. Hany came right over, set our router password, added admin rights to all the computers in the office, fixed one of our printers etc. After a few visits it all started to go south. When Hany came to visit us the first time before he started working, he advised it was going to be $75 dollars an hour for his service. Being we had several things that were suppose to get done over a few days Hany wanted to keep a rolling tab of the hours, and I was to pay him at the end. Once I got the invoice I realized he charged me $150 an hour and not $75. When I asked him about that he acted as though that was his rate all along. I am 100% positive he originally said $75 an hour and if you read some of the other reviews they also talk about Hany's rate being $75 an hour. Hmmm so why in the world did he now change his price when the job was mostly done to $150 an hour? When I pushed back on it, Hany's reply was "I would be happy to refer you other people who would do the work for $75 an hour". Really!!? your kidding right!!? To make matter's worse Hany wanted me to reset all the employee's emails so we could setup new emails with a few modifications to them. Hany wanted me to text him when I reset all the passwords so he could get in through google apps and get everything set. The only time we could do this was when everyone left for the weekend. I text him Friday about 5pm when the company shut down. Hany never did the work, nor did he ever even text me back. I wrote him another message that following Monday and he never replied, he just disappeared. This was something he said he could do and it was apart of what I paid him for (at his embellished $150/hr). Guy's do yourself a favor there are a lot of local I.T. guys & gal's in the Ventura County/ L.A. County market that wont try to scam you like Hany did to me. Follow Hany's suggestion when he said "I could refer other's in the area who will do the job for $75/ hour". Listen to him, and save yourself the hassle! read more

First dealt with Intosh when they set up our Internet and ever since our Internet has run so smoothly and way faster than ever. Even when there was the littlest of issues one of the guys would be over in less than 5 minutes and fix the problem and always explain what they did (which is a plus cause IT guys usually tend to think us "normal" people wont understand them". Being so happy with their services we decided to ask them to come on and help us with all our computers. We needed them to run properly and not freeze every 2 seconds. After a couple of days my computer is like brand new!! Unlike other computer companies I've worked with, the guys at Intosh NEVER make you feel little. They always explain things in ways that people who are not so tech savvy ;) can understand, and are so patient. Ever since they came on last week to help us with all 5 of our computers things have been running how they should be. I didn't know how things were supposed to be until they walked through our doors. Not a fan. I took my computer in to relieve space on my apple which was full. They had it for a week, I kept having to hound them to finish the work and without asking me charged me a premium for putting all my stuff onto a drive which I could have purchased myself and provided for a fifth of the price. They put everything into the cloud but never removed all my stuff from my laptop so guess what it is still full 300 dollars later. read more
