Beautiful beachside facilities and a wonderful location in Playa. Food menu for breakfast is completely reasonable however everything else is absurdly overpriced. Appetizers are around $200-$300 pesos and mains are around $500 even for unexciting dishes like grilled chicken or pasta. Cocktails are just shy of $300 pesos each and beers are around $100 pesos. I ordered an Ojo rojo with corona which was good. I also got a quesadilla (oddly off the breakfast menu) for $220 pesos which was filling and came with beans and pico and avocado. It was actually a bigger portion than I was expecting and I barely finished it. Overall a nice morning for only $30 usd or so. But I would prob skip it in favor of a cheap 6 pack on the beach next time read more

The first time I came was on my birthday July 14th, 2021. This next visit was in October during the memorial of the passing of my Mother. I brought my daughter here for the first time. Yes it was that good that O had to return and have my daughter try. Once the waiters got things together for themselves. The service was very nice. Yet the best part was the food and the view. You're on the beach. Feet in sand and a drink in hand. The ambience was delightful. I will always stop for a bite to eat here when in Mexico. I highly recommend this this restaurant for any meal. So I found this spot on OpenTable, then did a second review on Yelp and the rest is history. 1st yay: IT'S ON THE BEACH!!! 2nd yay: The decor. It is loungey in some areas, tables in others, and outside tables on real floor further back but still a beach view. 3rd yay: Prices are on point. 4th yay: Drinks were yummy. Especially after the watered down drinks at the resort: 5th yay: The extensive menu. It was a little intimidating, but there literally something for everyone. On the table rosarita salad, ceviche, shrimp tacos, calamari, rib eye, lomo saltado, and the cilantro pesto shrimp. YES, we are a bunch of fat asses and we enjoyed every ounce of it all. We tried all the smoothies and they were yummy. For lunches, we snacked on Tuna Ceviche and Salmon Tiradito. I would order all of these items again. This was a nice finding from Yelp when I was looking for a beach restaurant on our first day at Playa del Carmen that's walkable from our hotel and the town's 5th Avenue. On our first day, for dinner we sat on the beach lounges with comfortable pillows with the best view of the white sand beach and we can bury our toes on the sand! On the third day we were looking for another beach restaurant and settled happily here at INTI after attempting to go to one that was still advertising in Yelp and had been closed! Then going to another place where the set up was kinda cheap looking and their shrimp ceviche was so-so. Both visits at INTI the staff were friendly and fast in getting what we needed: water, cocktails, food and the bill. Kudos to the chef! The Peruvian seafood, ribeye steak, beef carpaccio, catch of the day and dessert were all delicious. read more

Loved it here! We were treated so well by our waiter, he literally made us feel like queens. He made sure the bed was to our comfort and even laid out towels for us. He provided us with the wifi, brought out everything fast and efficiently. The restaurant is really cute and you get the best view of the beach. The food was great and so were the drinks. We ended up leaving and getting massages directly next to the restaurant. That was 5 stars too. But if I'm ever in Playa del Carmen again, I'll stop by here. read more

This is the best beach bar/restaurant in Playa del Carmen in our opinion. There are lots - but there are lots of differences. Some restaurants have lounge chairs that I don't want to sit on, some cost 500 pesos just to sit down, and some appear to serve sub-par food, and charge a lot because of the view. Inti is the exception. To use the lounge chairs you must spend 400 pesos a piece (around $40 at the current exchange rate). But you can stay all day. We hung out there for the entire day several times while we were there, and it's easy to spend $40 each on multiple meals, drinks, etc. Beyond the perfect view, the food was actually amazing - high quality ingredients, great flavors, and fresh. We had fish tacos, ceviche, ahi tuna, chips and guacamole, etc. The servers are attentive and friendly, and speak perfect English. We never felt pressured to order more, or more frequently even when we spent 6 hours at a time there! But we certainly ordered plenty. Prices are totally reasonable, especially considering the great location and great food. I highly recommend this place! Get there early to get lounge chairs in the front row. Also, they run out of umbrellas, so if you get there early, you can ask them to bring one to your area. read more

INTI Beach was hands-down our favorite place in Playa. Great, natural drinks, fresh food, and terrific atmosphere. We aren't for the typical "club" atmosphere so INTI was a refreshing change with a really chill vibe. They even rake their sand. I got the Cadillac Mimosa and they brought out a tray, gave me a selection of liquor and mixed my drink in front of me on the beach. Throughly impressed. Then came the grouper and holy god - I think I died and went to heaven. The service was so good it made me never want to come home to the states. José in particular was so hospitable. The first night we discovered this place, they had a meditation session going that was truly mesmerizing. It totally hooked us and we spent almost the entire next day (our last day in Playa) hanging out here. I wish we had more time to spend! INTI deserves 5 stars all the way. Cute spot on the beach to lounge and get some food. It's about $30 per person to sit in their chairs but you can apply your food and drink purchases to that fee. We got a few beers, a smoothie, a coconut and some snacks like the potato veggies, crudités, and guacamole. All were pretty good; the potato wedges were kinda dry so I'd recommend the fries instead. Service is kinda slow but that has been pretty typical for the area. If you want some shade and a nice, clean area of water at the beach, this is a good place to stop. read more
