To my surprise, the menu had way too many options for such a vacant place to eat. As I put down the over exaggerated menu, a hurried and busy COCKROACH was fleeing toward my person. I felt shock. I felt instantaneous self preservation and swiped the area in front of me like a robot with said menu. Bam! All the silverware hit the next isle of old dated red booths. It was so loud because of the enormous vacancy of people to absorb any sound, that it scared me. I couldn't believe that my body shared any space in a restaurant with a bundle of COCKROACHES and pregnant cockroaches which probably were all hatched after we left the restaurant. Never in a million seconds would I make this mistake again. Never would any of you readers will ever patronize this restaurant because you are reading this review. By the way, the cockroach did not die. It just ran underneath those red dated booths next to me. I spent the entire rest of the visit, watching the entire table until we left. It is a crock of bunk that this kind of dirtiness can still exist in a hole in a wall restaurant and call itself a "Dining Pleasure" in Chickasha Oklahoma. But, if the restaurant stays open, then there has to be customers who know not of any Cockroaches that could have breeded and hatched babies on their bread, flour, salt shakers, ice machines, and what else? Oh, they like to leave fecal matter everywhere they walk. So, if you desire "authentic" Italian food, do not pass up the old Napolis restaurant because COCKROACHES make the ingredient list on every one of the menu items. Mmm mmm good !!

There were a few minor missteps along the way, a forgotten item on the order, but with all of the tables and people it was understandable - and the warmth of the service and the quality of all the other food more than made up for it. The pizza was good - their specialty pie with honey was the standout for me. And the fact that they have monthly specials? I loved seeing that they continue to tinker and innovate - that's a major green flag and tells you about their priorities. In doing reviews, I think there can be a tendency to try to speak to perfection - "it's the best ever," "it was flawless," "100%," and on. Dudes will talk for hours about rankings, and so much internet ink has been wasted on arguing which of two good things is better. People are weird like that. I'm weird like that.
