Giuseppe is located in an 1911 historical State National Bank. Picking up our granddaughter from Girl Scout camp we stopped at Giuseppe's. I ordered pork Parmesan, which was 2 pork tenderloin pounded out thin and lately breaded - fried golden brown topped with homemade marinara - served with spaghetti - absolutely delicious. My granddaughter ordered tortellini with pesto sauce and my hubby ordered that fettuccine Alfredo and lasagna combo. We also ordered ant- pasta. The place was clean, wait staff friendly, and the menu varied. I ordered shrimp cocktail (which never arrived) and a medium rare to medium filet (I think it was angus beef). The beef came with some sort of sauce, a wine reduction perhaps. The beef was served on the high medium side, closer to medium well done. I accepted it, but as I began, the beef was tough and the knife was dull, so it ripped rather than cut the meat, which was $40 on the menu by the way. Anyway, not the best food I've ever eaten. If I go back, I'll try some pasta instead. I did enjoy real tablecloths, real cloth napkins and no styrofoam. However, the silverware was that stamped junk instead of a real piece of silverware. The waiter we got was spread thin and didn't check on us very often. All in all, it was an underwhelming visit. read more

Giuseppe's is the best Italian food in Stephens County... The plates are reasonably priced with large portions. It's not the fanciest restaurant out there, but a great spot to split a bottle of wine and enjoy a decent meal. No complaints with the service or ambiance, the restaurant is in an old bank which is pretty cool. Wish that they stayed open a bit longer- but people around here seem to eat early so it makes sense. read more

We finally decided to come try this place after friends & others raving about this restaurant. There is a coffee shop as well, with variety of homemade fudge. We did have a few minute wait after providing our party name but once seated our server came to us quickly and took our drink order (sweet tea is awesome). The bread was fresh and really good with the melted butter, salad dressing was okay. Wife had the Italian sausage with peppers & onions which comes with side of spaghetti. Sausage was really good but could've had some more spice to kick start our palette. I had the lasagna and the marina is great and had a sweet taste to it. My waiter was not a very good listener and the service was lousy. The manager took the waiters side and would not listen to me because they were unable to get the order right. The waiter took all kinds of time making a relationship with the table 2 away from us and could not even know what a thousand island salad dressing was. Unless you can muzzle your kids I wouldn't recommend eating here. My friends and I (party of 12) planned to dine at Giuseppe's for a weeks for my birthday dinner. We were having a wonderful time enjoying ourselves and I was raving about the place from my prior experiences when the owner approached us and asked us to keep the 9 month old baby quiet because her squeals were echoing throughout the building. Immediately ruined the whole experience for us. This is not a five star establishment the waitstaff wear tshirts and they offer a kids menu. The baby was not loud at all nor disturbing at all. If this is how he treats his customers that reflects poorly on this establishment. No matter how the food taste we will not be back as we felt super unwelcome after the owner spoke to us. Stopped in here for dinner last night. The spinach artichoke appetizer was good. The bread that went with it was amazing. All 4 of our entrees were quite delicious. Only 3 stars because we ordered a bottle of Chardonnay and it wasn't cold. At all. We asked for an ice bucket and got no response. We asked again and the waitress sent the manager over to tell us they do not provide ice buckets at the table. We found it very frustrating that they would sell room temperature wine and not even have ice buckets. Definitely not a warm and friendly environment either. I don't eat Italian food too often, but after a long run it was the perfect reboot for nutrition in the system. This was my second time to the establishment and under two different managements. To compare I got the fantastic fettuccini half and half. It's regular noodles mixed with spinach with their alfredo sauce and marinara opposing each other. The mixture is divine and makes your palette dance. Side salads are dressed a little heavy, but an easy fix would be to have the wait staff ask customer preference. Or just remember to tell them of your desire. The bread comes out warm and ready to slice open. Be sure to order the pesto and dip the bread. You'll thank me later. It's warm and spreads wonderfully. The staff was super courteous and was always on point with making sure we had what we needed. We had four different roaming waiters checking in on us. Some might think it was over kill, but with the business of the restaurant at the time I am glad they offer such service. All in all this is a great local establishment and I hope people continue to go to fund it. Look forward to stopping by again when visiting. Just hope it's on another long run weekend or my waist would feel a lot tighter than it did after today's visit. read more

If you're looking for a quaint family oriented Italian Restaurant, Giuseppe's is the place. I was passing through Friday night and decided to stop in. It was around dinner time, the place wasn't too full just yet. Was greeted quickly with a kind smile from the hostess and was seated immediately. The service was very prompt and the waitress always seemed to have a pleasant smile on her face as well. Not one of these "I don't want to be here, I hate my job, so Im going to force myself to look happy and that I care" Smiles, that I normally get in some restaurants. Not the case here. Every waitress and waiter I had seen looked very upbeat and happy to serve you. With the service being so great, I was excited to see what the food was going to taste like. I'm not one to try new things, especially in places I've never ate before, so I went ahead and ordered what I knew and that was the Spaghetti Dinner with Meat Sauce. It came with a small house salad which I liked because it wasn't too much, and the dressing was very light. Nothing to get you too full before your main course. Being that it was a Friday night and by this time the restaurant was getting full, my food surprisingly didn't take long to come out. It was hot, but not too hot to where you couldn't immediately start digging in. Definitely get a good size plate and for the price you pay, not bad at all! It was delicious! Arrived hoping to have a fantastic family Italian meal in wonderful downtown Marlow Oklahoma upon speaking with the host I learned that Giuseppes would not seat us this evening right away at one of the open tables because we were four adults and one highchair. We had to wait for a large table that were full, because they would not put a highchair at a four top(they could be walking by and spill something on the baby). Also do not know the whole story for the group in front of us but they ended up walking away as well because they would not seat them and we all went to the Mexican food place two doors down! We had been wanting to come here after hearing so much about it. It was just ok. We loved the restaurant itself. It was nicely decorated and the atmosphere was great and it appeared clean. The food however, was ok. My husband had fettuccine Alfredo, which he said had almost no flavor. He said it tasted like warm cream and that was it. I had ordered a pizza to have and take the rest home for my niece to take to work for lunch. I will say they put a ton of cheese on it, which most people will love that. I don't particularly care for extra cheese, but I didn't ask for light cheese as most places do light cheese. I'm not complaining about that though. Despite all of the extra cheese, my pizza was really dry. There was almost no sauce. I asked the server for a small bowl of pizza sauce. She took 10 minutes to come back, which was a little ridiculous I think, only to tell me they wouldn't give me pizza sauce. She said they could give me marinara. I thought it strange they wouldn't give pizza sauce but could give marinara, but said ok anyway. She brought that back after about 5 minutes. It was chunky and gross. I didn't eat it. We asked for a box for the pizza and she asked if I wanted the marinara. I told her no thank you. She brought the check and we paid and left. On the way home, I realized they charged me $2 for a bowl of something that I didn't even originally ask for to begin with for a pizza that had like no sauce to begin with. They most definitely should have told me there'd be an additional charge to begin with. I doubt we'd be back. The taste just wasn't worth anything we paid. read more

They said the pizza took 40 minutes to cook, so we went with the pasta. I would say that it was reasonably priced, had a good atmosphere, and nice set up.
