Horrible customer service, plan and simple this commpany lies, disshonest. I bought a brand new trailer with in 6 months the tires began to wear on the out side, very odd. The only cause of this is a bad axel that is toed in, well they refused to fix it and wanted me to pay to have axel taken off and tested by sending the axel off to the manufacturer, hence a $500 shippinng bill plus the labor to pull the axel off and reinstall it. The trailer has about about 700 miles on it and the tires have to be replaced. BEWARE! I have bought a lot of trailers and I've never had to deal with people like this. The trailer was missing the VIN tag and had ABS problems which is a safety issue and we got an OOS for it, dropped it off for 2 weeks and paid our drivers to go back and forth 4 times, yet they still couldn't fix it but kept telling me it's fixed. Thought I'd give them another shot, went to buy 2 more trailers, 2 other customers walked out right in front of us, but right from the beginning,Tim (the clown) was rude and argued with me over some $100 brake job (had a crack in it and was barely %30) which I still agreed to pay out of my pocket. Then saw his tire guys putting non-DOT tires on the trailer we just purchased and call it "DOT" and when I told him he said "well, that's what you get". Then he goes "I don't care if you walk out" well, we sure did! When I called him out on his bad attitude, he called me a "D***" then he had a complete meltdown. They mickey mouse everything, their entire business is a scam. They're bunch of crooks trying to rip you off. Tim is a racist trust fund baby who wants to act like a boss. I had an awesome experience with Interstate Trailer. I bought a trailer in 2013 that has been a God send. The paint job was exactly what I needed and the trailer has been on the road literally since I got it. I recently went back to them and sadly they did not have a trailer I could use on their lot. Chris , their sales rep explained moving vans are hard to come by and if I found another one elsewhere to jump on it. He even helped me with his own painter. The integrity of that blows me away. This company was originally referred to me from another mover friend and I could not recommend them more. From their low price, quality of the trailer ( they DOT each one) and their vendor support allow a company like mine to get a a trailer ready to go into operation and immediately make money for you. Don't purchase anything from trailers plus they are the worst. Purchased trailer 14 months ago and have pulled it on the road once. From the dealer to a parking garage location where it is parked 7 days a week and never moved as a stationary auto detail unit . The aluminum siding on the trailer is developing bubbling that powder comes out if you try to scratch bubbles. The fender fell off driving had to be reinstalled and then fell off three times once when I picked up trailer and the second and third times when it was parked and had to be screwed in again leaving numerous holes in wheel well cavity. The problem with the siding is that the raw aluminum had an effect on the siding they install. the issue is not on all the siding which is a mystery. They chose to waste my time and make me drive two to three hours each way to drop off and pick up the trailer without fixing the issue. I was told by the factory rep that he has seen other trailers siding do the same thing and that they had a fix for it. I took the trailer in for the fix but as iI stated they claimed it would not fix problem and that they would re-skin the trailer siding but that I would have to pay for the installation of the siding. After leaving trailer at Trailers Plus for a week and having a location down one unit they decided not to fix the trailer and make an excuse that the problem is from salt damage. I said I would not pay for new siding to re-installed. I want the trailer fixed or I will pick it up and file for a buy back of it. They refused to fix metal siding issue and we are now forced to file with BBB as a buy back. The trailers they sell are interstate trailers. Don't ever buy one. There is a reason interstate are less expensive than other manufacturers: They are pieces of junk . I would buy a wells cargo or Carson trailer or Hauler before looking at their crappy trailers. I looked online at reviews and complaints with the BBB and there are others who have had similar and far worse issues. Some said their axles fell off, hubs froze among other issues. Shame on Interstate and Trailers Plus. Stay away from the both of them. read more
