At first, I had my son bring the truck in to look at the cap, where, after inspecting it, they recommended I schedule a follow-up appointment to get it repaired. I later brought the truck back myself for that appointment, and after no more than eight minutes of looking at it- I was told the cover was completely unrepairable and considered "trash." Despite this, the shop was not even willing to take it off my hands, and I had to drive the truck home with the cap on it, broken. After the frustrations of my time being wasted just to be told the cover was trash, I prepared to throw it out. My son, however, refused to believe that it was truly broken, and recommended I try bringing it to another truck cap shop instead. I ended up visiting Cap World in Salem, New Hampshire; and their staff evaluated the truck right away, finding that only issue (literally, only one), was a cracked hinge. They recommended I order a new one from Leer and install it myself. Less than 20 minutes after the part had delivered, I had replaced the hinge myself, and the cap worked perfectly. I should also note I am not a mechanic or engineer, this was as simple as a task could get. Based on my experience with Yankee, one of two things happened: Their staff were either incompetent, or they simply did not want to do the repair. If it was the latter, I wish they'd been honest from the start instead of sending me on an extra hour of driving for an appointment that was completely useless. I'd recommend others save themselves the trouble, and visit another shop instead.

shit hole company!!!! purchased a vehicle in cash from them, had a nail in a tire a big chip/ crack…read morein windshiel, and a plate light out. had us wait around for 3 hours so the windshield chip could be repaired and when we returned to pick it up told us the guy never showed up and to come back during the week they would take care of it. didn't fix the nail in tire cause they don't do tires in house!, my wife took time off from work to drive an hour and 15 minutes back during the week to get things taken care of. they said the fixed the chip but it looks the same and can still feel the chip, so nothing was done, still didn't fix the tire(gave us $100 in cash to fix it ourselves) and gave my wife new bulbs for the plate light and didn't install them! plate housing is broken and had to replace. so in total wasted over 6 hours for them to fix everything and they never did with having 2 chances to do so. also told us they would fill the fuel tank when we came back and wouldnt when my wife went back. clean car fax vehicle but you can see where the drivers doors have had body work and fresh paint and overspray in the door jams! total waste of time and shit hole company! stay far away from them.

Not to mention eternally relieved to have finally completed a state inspection. What would otherwise be classified as an innocuous, yet necessary tradition, you would be surprised how difficult it is to find a place to get a proper state inspection done IF you're new to the area and not quite sure where to go. Worse yet....if you happen to have tint on your front windows like I did, you'd be hard pressed to find a place that will even perform said inspection, as it apparently violates NH state law. Anyway, this place is fast, efficient, and the staff are very accommodating. They even have a spiffy little waiting area with coffee and everything. Also, they accept Apple Pay. Which....I didn't realize until AFTER I already paid them with my card. See, they have one of those scanners that displays the option as the total is presented. I told the lady at the front desk they should probably post a sticky on the front door mentioning as much. This is such a convenient spot for me to get my state inspection and whatever else done because it's so close to where I live. And affordable? You bet your ass they are! Merrimack Auto Center is worthy of 5 swiftly executed state inspections out of 5.
