DONT GO HERE !! Brought my car in to replace 2 rear shocks, left shop w a metal on metal noise, brought to another liscensed mechanic and it was confirmed that my shocks were not bolted in correctly... major safety issues to me and my car. You would think they would compensate me for the extra 200$ I spent to get them bolted in correctly (which is all I asked for) but no one responded after I called multiple times and had someone tell me I will get a call back... no call no compensation. They told me that they couldn't help me because I went to another mechanic but why in hell would I go BACK TO THEM!?!? Crazy anyways don't go here. The first time I went there for an oil change they called me about a completely different car !! Like wtf made me drive back and everything! DONT GO HERE unprofessional staff and no help from management when they mess up. read more

Do not waste your time with this location. Rude and lazy staff. I scheduled an appointment for the next day at 5pm received a text confirming my appointment then went in the next day and staff said they didn't have time to do and they tried to call. The number that was read back was not my number but somehow it was right the day before when the text confirmed the appointment. While walking out the staff said whatever. I will never again visit this location. read more

I went to this location to get my oil changed and who I assume was the manager was pressuring me to buy new tires, even though I had told I just replaced two of my tires and the other two are on warranty, he insisted. i was getting ready to pay and had already waited an hour when he went on that he "insisted " I needed new tires and he can do it right then. I finally had to day I was not interested and went to pay for my oil change. As I was leaving he said "good luck with your crappy tires". I like pep boys and have luck at other locations but I'm NEVER retuning to this location. read more

I had a 10am appointment to get 4 new tires. I arrived on time to be told it would be 3 hours! 4 hours later I got my car. One employee was particularly rude named Ken, and the women's restroom was unusable! For a company who "dedicates to getting you in and out faster" they should be ashamed! They will never get my business again!!! read more

Making an appointment is a waste of time. They have no consideration of peoples time. I made an appointment a week in advance and was told I still had to leave my car for the day because they were short staffed and booked too many people. Drove a mile down the street and got great service from Marvis Tire. No appointment, no bull. read more

i chose pep boys in nashua because they were having a great sale on tires at the time. The install went great and the employees were pleasant and knowledgeable. few weeks later i had an issue with a tpms sensor. we called and they fit us right in to replace it with no hesitation. The manager Matthew and the guys out in the shop juan and jacob were extremely helpful with the issue. they all went over and above what the needed to to keep a customer happy. I would 100% recommend this pep boys for anybody who needs tires or any other work done to their car/ or truck. read more

Awesome customer service. Alfonso went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I really appreciate the time he took to help me understand what needed to be done for my vehicle. This man deserves a raise along with Andrew who serviced my vehicle and Charlie who is so down to earth & helpful! I will be going back. Thanks guys! read more

Bought a battery here and was told that despite not having a retail shop I could bring back the old battery for a core exchange. Tried to return the core today and was told they do not take cores. Waste of time and money. read more

Made an appointment on their website that showed THEIR availability. It was made the same day but again, it was made in their website. Walk in and the guy angrily chopped at his keyboard and then in an annoyed tone, "you made this today. I can't do that. I have 3 inspections getting done now(11:30)" I asked how soon he thinks he could do and he answered 3 or 4 o'clock. Awful system and even worse customer service read more

Went for an oil change/tune-up/check-up/tires rotated/balanced, expecting that I'd be back next week to get my car inspected.... Lo and behold, they were able to get the inspection done today. Ken is a total rock star!! Kept me informed throughout the service and was courteous and friendly as well! Thanks so much, Ken and team, for making my car as safe as it possibly can be, and just being genuinely *good* guys! read more

VERY UNRELIABLE!!!! I Made a appointment for 2- tires on there website first thing in the morning for 12:30. I get there and they tell me they can't get the car done today. I could of went somewhere else if I knew they were not available to install 2 tires. ( takes under a hour ) This is the 2 nd time this has happened to me. That's why I'm posting this read more

*customer service bad; left on hold for several minutes, if they picked up. Assured me that I could have car back by certain days/times, but never did *requested check of right rear noisy brakes, then call me; they did a full inspection with a major up-sell pitch with web links. 24 hrs after drop off I was able to get a hold of someone for an answer *inexperienced workers and incompetent management resulted in a brake job taking 3 1/2 days ! *when I was driving away I noticed another noise that was not there before, but I would never intentionally go back for any service read more

Made an appointment to have my flat tire repaired today. I found that their service was very fast, friendly and professional.

Great service today thank you. Had brakes done no more squeeling. A big thank you to the team over there.

Slowest oil change ever. They offered a coupon for full synthetic but appt made and still sat waiting over an hour and a half.

Went there to get my muffler replaced. It took 3 tries for them that day, but they finally got it. They gladly did the work until it was fixed, and charged a fair price. They also allow non-profits to run fundraisers there...cool. Their waiting room is great. They have cable tv, and wifi, and power for the laptops. read more

When a book a meeting with a client, work is done at the time they scheduled, as I know that they are busy. I've been sitting here for an hour and my car still sits outside, unmoved. When my father was a service manager, he would inform his valued customer that there will be or there is a delay, offer options and deeply apologize. If you think that your customer is going to sit an hour (or more who knows), tell her upfront. Aligned the car for free, much appreciated and got you another star, thank you. read more

Wish I could give zero stars. this place is an absolute joke. You wait seven hours to get four tires changed and then they won't do your alignment correctly. They'll hand you the paper with multiple things in the red which is not where it should be. I had to go to somewhere else to get it. They claim they've offered multiple times to pay for it, but they did once and who's gonna go somewhere after complaining and not feeling comfortable in the location. I'd recommend staying away from this location as the manager clearly doesn't know how to run the shop correctly. Spend the extra money at a reputable place like Nashua tire. They'll do a better job. they had to cancel my appointment the first time because supposedly the staff was sick. Why would you take my car in if you knew you couldn't get to it? waited five hours the first day for them to tell me they couldn't get to it and then I had to reschedule. That's terrible customer service I've been in for over 10 years and we can't get to something we're honest upfront. That's the on turn manager and the company not the staff. I will never go back to any Pep Boys location because of this.. read more

We made TWO different appointments on line to get four new tires. Both times after getting there the tires were NOT in stock, even though the web site said they were. Save yourself some time and aggravation and go anywhere else. read more

If I can leave zero stars I would! I just wanted my tires swapped out. My car just passed inspection and they held my car hostage while I sat there. They insisted on conducting a full inspection and would not give me keys until they were done. This is bull! Screwed up my night. I will never go back! read more

I made an appointment for my high-mileage car oil change. When I got there they did not have the oil I needed in stock. They are sending someone to Auto Advantage to get it. Ohhhkay. I didn't have time to wait so I decided to come back the next day. Now they have the oil but the price went up from and already high $88 to $125! They described this as a "smidge more." I'll say. Something that should take 20 minutes when you have a lift took more than an hour. I should have done it myself read more

Solid work, was passing through and ran over a nail and had to have a tire patched up. They did it for cheap and fast and I was on my way.

I went to get an oil change today. I made the appointment online same day. When I got there they had no idea I was coming. It seems they can't see same day appointments. The guy then spent several minutes explaining why none of his employees were available to change my oil. I didn't ask. He said I could make another appointment but he didn't try to make one with me. It seemed clear he wanted us to leave. read more

I was a long time customer until this week. I brought my 2017 Ford Explorer in for an inspection sticker, I was told it failed for a control arm and bushings, which would cost me $940 to fix for inspection to pass. I brought my car to a Ford dealership and guess what? It passed inspection. Pep Boys was trying to scam me for $940 for something that didn't need to be fixed!!! I was trustful of Pep Boys and their staff, but my recent experience with Ryan was horrible. I will let everyone I know not to go to a Pep Boys, they are incompetent. read more

Needed to have the tires switched on my work van, so a job that should take 30 minutes, 45 tops. Had booked an appointment for 10am a week in advance. Brought my car in early, they told me it would be 2 hours max...seemed odd but it's that time of year when everyone is changing their tires. They called and said I would be able to pick my car up at 7pm that same day...when I got there it still wasn't done, and then they told me a sensor was out in my car and that they would need to keep it overnight! 10 minutes later the sensor was fixed... Luckily I didn't have anything pressing to do that day because I didn't have my car for an entire day...just to get my tires changed. Fast forward a week and I had already made an appointment for my regular car. So went in today...same deal just getting a set of 4 new tires. Again appointment was at 12pm, just picking the car up now at 7:30pm. We called at 6:30pm and they said it would be ready for pickup in 30 minutes. Get here a little after 7pm and still not ready. They finally waived the install fee on the second appointment...but come on two full Saturdays wasted for a simple tire rotation job. Not coming back again. read more

Had an appointment and still waited 4 hours. First and list time purchasing tires here. Don't go here unless you want to waste an entire day

I had a tire pop and needed to get in quickly to replace it. They were able to take me right away and the whole experience was over with in 1 hour. When I first arrived I only was anticipating having to get two tires because I thought my back ones were fine. Turns out they were not, and needed to replace all four. I thought I was gonna be stocker shocked for replacing all four tires. They were able to get me all four for under 350 and even gave me a 15% discount for waiting a little longer than they had told me. Four brand new tires for $329 made for a very happy customer with an otherwise very awful situation. I appreciated the work you did for me and the face that you didn't try to up-sell me. Would come back for all my other needs for both me and my husbands very expensive Volkswagen fixes. read more

These clowns don't have it together at all. I came from Massachusetts because of a good deal on some tires. I called the day before to confirm appt and make sure they had the tires in for my truck. I got to the appt 1/2 early and they didn't have the tires in the shop. I was pissed!. They ended up going to another store to get the tires, that was good. However even after an hour after they gor back with the tires my truck was still not brought in for the job. They gave me a line of bullshit. I took my keys and left. I will never go back. They suck read more

I Have made the mistake of coming here multiple times over the years not any more. I had issue after issue they are over priced now for any repairs back in the day Pepboys wss cheaper this was the only appealing factor in going to Pepboys to begin with. Appointments mean nothing you still wait for hours on end even for an oil change. The same line again and again we are understaffed. Last time I went was because another repair shop stated I needed struts done again. I had paperwork from Pepboys showing they had done the struts the last time so I went back to them. Paperwork clearly shows a Limited Lifetime Warranty on the struts . I showed them the paperwork 1st and they handed it back stated they would look at it after looking at the struts . Couple hours later they tell me that I needed struts and proceed to tell me that the Limited Lifetime Warranty was only good for 12000 miles. I was straight up shocked and confused was too upset to argue the point I went home researched it after being charged $38 just for them to tell me they are going screw me over. I looked into the Limited Lifetime Warranty policy it is lifetime for the PARTS and labor is 12000 miles pretty sad when the shop manager doesn't know the warranty policy. The estimate given for the work wss also almost twice as much as the cost of the repairs done elsewhere. Total rip off stay away you are not going save money or time they are not willing to honor their own warranty either. They could at the very least have told me they weren't going honor the warranty before even looking at the struts and save me the bother and money nope the screwed me over again. Stay away far away from any Pepboys! read more

I went to Pep Boys yesterday to buy some gas line antifreeze. As soon as I reached for the bottle, I heard a loud beep. When I looked towards the beep, I saw a monitor with "Recording in Progress" splashed across the screen. There on the screen was a recording of me with a rectangle around my body and a square around my face. This is something new at Pep Boys. Now I want to make it clear I am not a shoplifter, just a customer. I slowly removed my hand and left the store without purchasing anything. I drove to Walmart and got what I needed. Everyone know that stores use video to monitor for shoplifters. They have been doing that for years. I just find this latest tool to be highly obnoxious and "in your face." It's the same as if a store clerk followed you throughout the store while recording your every move with a video camera. Hey Pep Boys, can you tell your management that I am done with your business? There are other stores that will welcome my business without subjecting me to obnoxious monitoring. Eventually Pep Boys will discover that these beeping monitors are more of a "purchase prevention" device than a "theft prevention" device. read more

Fantastic experience!!! Ryan, the service manager, was fantastic to me and my car!!! I will definitely become a regular!!!

I've been coming here for years, and the past several times I've taken my car in for an oil change it's taken them 6+ hours. Today was the cherry on top. I dropped my car off with my appointment that was made at 8am, my car was ready until two. When the MANAGER knew I needed it back by 12! Not to mention the people that work there are total idiots. And clueless. Today was the last day I'll EVER go there. No apology, nothing. I get you're busy but my car was the first in. An oil change takes a half hour. This appointment was scheduled two weeks ago. read more

I was able to make an appointment for an inspection (nice feature) and arrived 5 minutes late. Only 2 other customers waiting and within 15 minutes they were gone. 45 minutes later, no one is coming out to say "you're all set." I was waiting for the one person behind the counter to help me find out what was happening with my car and finally another person showed up and asked if they could help. I said, "I think my car is ready. It has plastic over the driver's seat." He went out and came back in and said, "No, it still has the old inspection sticker on it." With that I asked for my key back and left. Inspections with an appointment on Sunday with no other customers waiting should not take an hour. read more

This place is imploding. Phone rings off the hook, they can't answer it, don't want to answer it. I've been "that guy" trying to call in for an appointment and they never pick up. Specialist is running around with their head cut off from computer to computer. I was asked to sit in lounge just because they couldn't get my bill together and get me the keys. Who puts only one specialist at prime time pick up? Seems like the Parts side of the house is completely independent. Could careless about what goes on at the service side. I made a 4 o'clock appointment for them to look at my air conditioning. At 5 o'clock I walk outside and they still had not pulled my car in. why do they take appointments if they have no intention of keeping them? What a waste of time read more

Pep Boys has the worst service and is the most disorganized place ever. I would never ever recommend them to anyone. My car did not pass inspection (not at Pep Boys) due to needing tires. I called and ordered tires on October 7th and scheduled an appointment for October 11th. I arranged for rides to and from work due to this appointment so I dropped my car off in the morning before I went into work. I was called a few hours later telling me that they didn't have my tires which at this point I'm unsure why they didn't call me the night before instead of letting me bring my car there for nothing. At this time the service manager I spoke with was going to order them and schedule an appointment but due to them supposedly ordering them and them not coming in it was decided that he would order them and call me when they came into the store, then schedule an appointment to have them installed. Due to this inconvenience he did offer to not charge me for the alignment. On October 18th (a week later) I still had not heard anything so called in the morning but no one answered and it kept ringing. I again called later and spoke with someone who stated they were from a different store and would be taking over this store. He put me on hold to go look/find where my tires were but at some point I was disconnected so called back. He told me that they did not have my tires which I expressed frustration with this and explained the prior issue. He stated that he would call another store and supposedly go get them personally himself. On October 19th I had tried calling the store several times throughout the day to check in but every time I called there was no answer and the phone kept ringing. I also called customer service/support whatever they want to call themselves (although they do nothing) who only told me they would let people know. On October 20th I again called the store in the morning to avail it kept ringing with no one answering. I again called customer service/support who again said the same thing they would let someone know. By this time I am beyond angry because now I only have 10 days to get/find tires, have them installed and take it back/make an appointment at the place where I failed for a re-inspection. I demanded that someone called today as it is Friday and I know they won't be working on the weekend and then there goes by more time. Of course no one called so I called several times throughout the day only for them to tell me they would let someone know which who knows if they did just like they probably never ordered my tires. So now I had to go elsewhere to find tires and as you can imagine couldn't not get tires ordered, in and an appointment until October 31st which then means I will be driving around without my car inspected because I will then have to make an appointment which means I can't make one until November 1st or depending if I can get in the same day I get my tires done. Pep Boys has severely inconvenienced me to the point where I could be pulled over and get a ticket due to not having my car inspected. I will never use them again. They don't know how to call and communicate, they are disorganized and clearly don't answer phones/call back meaning they don't want your service. There needs to be an option for no stars. read more
