Yard Birds owner took the time to explain to me where my problem could actually be coming from. He promptly sent his crew to diagnose the issue. Jack and his partner arrived and worked hard digging holes to locate the broken wire. Jack clearly explained to me my options and his plan since the broken wire was determined to be either under a large tree root system or beneath the pool deck. They came back the next day when they said they would and ran wire, covered all the holes, and checked the entire system out. You could tell they were being really respectful of the property and trying their best to fill and level the ground to make it look good. They even used some of the dirt to go to an area where they noticed erosion and filled that in too. I have used Yard Birds multiple times in the past 25 years. They are a dependable quality company with a reputation that you can count on.

Brandon even allowed me to do some of the work myself, and when I punctured a drain on my property that I was unaware of (oops) Brandon recommended that we pull up the whole pipe and replace it. Brandon replaced the pipe and installed it and didn't charge me an extra penny for my mistake that cost his time. Brandon and his crew finished the job to our satisfaction, and beyond. Two years later in 2023 we hired Yard Birds again to do a makeover on our pond. This required more large tree removal, much excavator work, and great skill in shaping the outer edge of our 1/2 acre pond into a heart shape (I know, cheesy:). I am personal friends with the owners of two equipment rental places that Yard Birds uses regularly, and both have great working relationship with Brandon and his company. Pictures are available!!! Driving in this space is illegal and totally unnecessary. It seems that they were trying to avoid carrying tree limbs to the street. They were planning to dump the tree debris in this Green space until I caught them. The Green space is park land and was very wet, so naturally the got stuck !! They had to bring in a bobcat and another truck to pull out the truck that is shown in the advertising. These vehicles did sever damage that could have been repaired by their crew. They will not return calls to address this issue. The issue has been reported to The Woodlands Township and San Jacinto River Authority who jointly manage this space.. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I guess that stressed the tree enough to the point that it couldn't defend itself: it was infested with pine bark beetles. Within days we watched it go from semi-brown on a few branches to totally brown. Wow. Called Texas Tree Elite as soon as they opened on a Monday morning. Within hours, Jose was here to give us an estimate. Since this tree was perilously close to the power lines, it would be a little more expensive to remove. Received a fair quote, and the next day the crew was here. In about an hour, this tree was gone, stump ground, yard cleaned. What a crew!
