I was hoping I could get a little break to have multiple trees cut down (had several that were diseased, and pointing towards unsafe landings), and I was delighted to figure out that I could have all the trees done at the same time for a better price. We weren't sure if it was going to rain on the scheduled day, and again, communicated with me the whole time. Then showed up on time as promised, with staff that was all wearing brightly colored t-shirts for safety. The job was done all in one morning (several trees cut down, and several needed some maintenance). The crew left my property as tidy as possible, and didn't interrupt me one bit (I work from home). At the end when they were all done, I had wanted some additional branches trimmed, and they had no problem hopping back on their equipment to get the tree trimmed. Nothing was damaged, none of the wires were hit, and I officially have a new tree servicing company to call for all my needs. Only a couple minor comments, neither worth taking away a star. I had wanted to save some money, so planned on burning my own trees/branches, but the two tree piles left for me where a bit larger than what I wanted to set on fire. I'm just not that brave with fire, so I had to do some work on my own to make the piles smaller, but I think if I had seen the piles before they left and said something, they would have made more smaller piles, but I didn't realize the size of the piles and didn't say anything. So I take full responsibility for that. The other issue is that I am allergic to perfumes, and the person who gave the quote and came back to manage the work wore just a little too much. We were outside and it was too strong. I probably came off rude keeping my distance, but most people don't realize how their perfumes smell to others, and even less people are aware that people have allergies to such. Again, I said nothing (because in my experience, people don't generally respond well to being told their perfume is offensive), but I'm sure if I had asked for them to not wear so much perfume they would have respected my wishes. Thus, no stars taken away. Definitely recommend these folks. Professional, and affordable.

I guess that stressed the tree enough to the point that it couldn't defend itself: it was infested with pine bark beetles. Within days we watched it go from semi-brown on a few branches to totally brown. Wow. Called Texas Tree Elite as soon as they opened on a Monday morning. Within hours, Jose was here to give us an estimate. Since this tree was perilously close to the power lines, it would be a little more expensive to remove. Received a fair quote, and the next day the crew was here. In about an hour, this tree was gone, stump ground, yard cleaned. What a crew! Excellent service with a skilled crew who were very conscious of the neighboring trees, the power lines and our yard. Highly recommended.

I received a flyer about Lonestar Arbor Systems and decided to check with them on removing some…read morepesky branches of a deciduous tree in my front yard (with those branches close to touching the roof). Javier came by and gave me an estimate that I considered very reasonable. He told me he would contact me with information about his return to do the trimming. Two days ago, while taking my wife to two separate doctor appointments, I received a text telling me that Lonestar would be on site that day. I called the phone number on the flyer only to find there was no inbox into which I could explain the conflict. About 2 hours later, I received a call explaining that Lonestar would work something out. About 20 minutes later, my doorbell camera showed a big truck with lots of equipment and several workers in my front yard (kinda freaked me out - figuring I'd have to pay extra to have them return!). Later that day, I returned home to see that not only had they trimmed the branches, but the crew completely swept all of the sawdust and cuttings off my driveway and front yard, but they also blew off all of the pine straw (and I have a BUNCH of it for about 8 months out of the year!) off my driveway and concrete walk to my front door. Not only did I NOT have a bunch of stuff to clean up, but the crew had cleaned up my front yard. WOW, what service...and without my even paying them! Kudos to Javier and his crew - I just handed him a check for the work. I was pleasantly surprised that Lonestar trusted me enough to do the work without immediate payment. It's clear they did not care about clean up. But for price I won't complain much on that. Now the part of service to why 2.5 stars. Great communication upfront and to date of tree service. During trimming I kept trying to have workers do what I asked originally but they didn't speak English and I'm not good at Spanish. So I called the owner he didn't answer. I text to ask him to correct and no answer. During the call for payment I asked about correcting and he said yes they can come back again and correct. Well that was July 3rd and as of now Aug 6, atill have not heard a peep from the owner. Sad business model from this company as I did see a few reviews prior to hiring them that they did stop responding. I didn't think that was going to be me. Sadly I would not recommend this company even though work was halfway decent for price. Look elsewhere for your tree trimming needs.

I also noticed that one of the columns of the covered patio was damaged... maybe that's why they quit and won't answer my texts anymore.
