Geraldo and his guys were very prompt and spent about 6 hrs removing that one tree plus trimming 11+ trees in the front and back yards. Each time, the price was lower than anyone else who bid the job. It's easy in Kingwood to be ZIP coded, receive a high price, and they hope you're dumb enough to agree to it. Neil has never done this to me. On all occasions, the team shows up when Neil says they will. They have literally ever piece of equipment needed to do the job....dolly's to move the large logs, a shredder which makes short work of the limbs, and multiple stump grinders. They're fast, everyone is nice and respectful, and they clean up the mess which has plagued me in the past with other companies. The large trees I had taken down really gave me heartburn with the way they were situated over the house. The team expertly climbed the tree and took the tree down in small pieces swinging everything away from the house with no problem. Trust me when I say they've done this before and are really good at it. Neil is quick to give a quote and leaves his insurance binder with the bid. This may seem trivial but I hate having to ask for insurance for a service that demands that the provider actually have insurance!! (See paragraph above about large trees over the house if you're wondering why they need insurance).

What really stood out was the result: our trees look healthier, stronger, and genuinely revitalized. our 40+ loblolly pines were saved, our oaks were perfectly pruned and the large decorative tree by our front road and driveway got exceptional care making it a great tree to welcome folks (it was kinda scary looking before). I guess that stressed the tree enough to the point that it couldn't defend itself: it was infested with pine bark beetles. Within days we watched it go from semi-brown on a few branches to totally brown. Wow. Called Texas Tree Elite as soon as they opened on a Monday morning. Within hours, Jose was here to give us an estimate. Since this tree was perilously close to the power lines, it would be a little more expensive to remove. Received a fair quote, and the next day the crew was here. In about an hour, this tree was gone, stump ground, yard cleaned. What a crew! Excellent service with a skilled crew who were very conscious of the neighboring trees, the power lines and our yard. Highly recommended.
