He was responsive, prompt, professional and efficient. Whether it was working with my co-op to provide a COI in a timely manner or coordinating with my building super to reserve the elevator, Art was on top of it. He and his team not only did a great job with my apartment, but (again) he was really helpful on the administrative side of things (which can be incredibly annoying with a co-op building). I would hire and work with Art again in a second. 5 stars, easy.

UPDATE: the rating goes down to 1 now. Art showed up at home on 3/9/22 to see if my review could…read morebe removed. He asked if he could reimburse me or do "do over". We were startled to see him at my door. How the hell did he get in? In any case, here he was with a cake in his hand. We said we would like certain areas re-painted and showed them specifically what needs to be done. He never called back to arrange for re-paint. Now I am thinking about "reimburse you" part. Looking back, I think he wanted to pay me so that I could remove the negative review. You get worse rating for that unprofessional, unethical behavior. You can't pay me to change my rating.

I can't say enough about Mike and his people. I tried three other flooring businesses to get my…read morefloors done prior to finding Carpet Works. Every one was either ridiculously expensive or just not interested in doing anything. Carpet Works was recommended by a friend and the entire process was smooth as silk. From the product selection to the measuring to the installation, not a flaw in the process anywhere. Mike's installation guys are amazing. They are very talented and do great work and are pleasant to have around. They showed up on time, worked hard until the job was done, not even taking a lunch break. The finished job is just perfect and I'm so pleased with the results. I'd definitely use Carpet Works again and would recommend the business highly.

These guys are FANTASTIC. Highly recommend. Incredibly efficient, hard-working guys. They've come…read moretwice and both times I've been impressed with the job from start to finish. They clean up after themselves, they are professional, kind, nice people and the fence looks spectacular. We also had a hole in a different part of the yard and they offered to fill it with the extra dirt they had from digging the posts - most companies would just discard the dirt, but they saw something that would be helpful and offered. Would definitely hire them again in a heartbeat.

One big, open floor organized by type. Bathroom items together, chairs/lamps/coffee tables near each other and so on. There were some brand new, never used, 30" bathroom vanities with marble tops, two larger vanity tops only - also marble, a couple of medicine cabinets, lots of doors both inside and out, attic vents for the exterior, tiles, so many chairs from waiting room to living room. Beds, electric stoves, carpet squares, office chairs, lots of lovely curio cabinets, desks, some artwork, mirrors, and plenty of lamps, some books, and a little bit of kitchen ware. Remember to look up! There are a lot of ceiling lights suspended from pipes running overhead. The prices here are excellent. I'm a big advocate of reduce, reuse, recycle and this is a good location to find household items, some used, some new and your purchase supports the Habitat for Humanity mission. Win-win!
