EG answered me the first and really quickly I must say (about 10 minutes)! I told them about all my wishes, we discussed the price and deadlines. I want to thank Art and his team - Evolution Group for the great work that they did on my bathroom! I was just moving into a new place and I wanted to get the bathroom gutted before I did so. I received pricing from 3 contractors, but Art was the only one who came to my place and offered to help with the design. The others did not visit the site and told me I had to pick out all of the fixtures and tiles myself, and that they would simply install them. With all 3 contractors in the same price range, it seemed like an easy choice. I wasn't sure what the design process was going to be like as I have never done any bathroom related work before, and Art offered to go through the whole process step by step. The Evolution Group designer came to the site again personally to show me tile samples, we went through vanity and fixture options to make it all look nice. About a year ago I was looking for a contractor to replace the front door in my house. The prices offered at that time seemed very high to me and I abandoned this idea. This year I decided to tackle this issue again, made several inquiries and received estimates. The installation was not difficult, but we waited a very long time for the door itself (this is not the fault of Evolution Group, since I made the order personally). Our main floor bathroom is very small and needed a complete gut job. All the plumbing and electrical needed to be done since it was a bathroom from the 1950's. Evolution Group removed the old tub and converted it into a walk-in shower area. My bathroom looks bigger than it was before. They used beige ceramic non-slip tiles with a vintage tile border design mid way up the wall to give it the illusion of height in the bathroom. Also designer from the Evolution Group added a white pedestal sink and toilet. This gave us more room in the bathroom than adding a vanity sink. Also added beveled glass shelves for our extra towels. Our bathroom looks clean and beautiful all the time. The work crew of the Evolution Group was very professional. Arrived early and left by 5pm. At the end of each day they left the work area clean and removed all the construction debris. We reviewed the work progress daily and discussed changes if needed with Art (project manager). Evolution Group were wonderful to work with! I had my master bathroom gutted and remodeled with a completely new floorpan. I had 3 estimates and hired them not only because they were competitive with the other estimates, but also because Art (project manager) was wiling to work with the floorplan I wanted which included moving the toilet. (One other company just told me that it couldn't be moved.) Art offered great design ideas, too. I wanted a half-wall to separate the toilet, and he had the brilliant idea of using a narrow cabinet instead of half-wall. Not only do I have the privacy, but more storage space, too. I had a need to have 2 washing machines installed at the entrance to the apartment. The problem was that there was no communication for them to be carried out (neither electricians nor plumbers), but I also wanted everything to be decorated neatly and no wires were hanging. Evolution Group offered me an option with opening the wall and conducting electrical wiring through it, and plumbing (drains) through the floor to the kitchen.
