One of our friend referred us to Granite & Kitchen studio.I have to be honest I was so happy with the decision. Met this amazing design expert Devon...Mind blowing the way she patiently explained about all the quartz options we were impressed. We are so happy without a doubt we went ahead and signed the contract with them. They installed our beautiful quartz which goes well with our blue cabinets.Dont hesitate or think twice they are amazing in terms of pricing and making sure you understand what you are getting into. The owner is amazing and knowledgeable.Over all we were pleased and happy with the service received.I highly recommend this place I am sure you will make the right choice and never regret. Each time I pass my kitchen I admire how beautifully the experts worked in the studio to match small little details, we opted in for a water fall island counter top and our design expert Devon did a marvelous job on marking and making sure the lines meet so it flows like a water fall.I would like to say a huge thank you to Devon,Emily, owner and amazing job by the installation team and the whole of Granite kitchen and studio for making my kitchen spectacular.

I wanted to re-do my kitchen so I went to The Home Show in Hartford a few months ago and connected with a few contractors. I did some research on review sites and had 1 come to my house for a consultation and estimate. We liked him and his work - but I also decided to drop into Granite & Kitchen Studio, LLC in South Windsor as they are around the corner from my house. I looked in their showroom, spoke with Devon and arranged for Ahmed to come give us a consult and estimate. The moment Ahmed started measuring, commenting and suggesting - I knew he was who I wanted to work with. BUT, I also sensed he'd be very expensive based on his approach to the project and others we spoke with. Guess what - a few days later when I got his estimate it was only slightly higher than the other, and if apples-to-apples on material was used he might be the same. I was psyched because it was within our budget, and I REALLY wanted to work with Ahmed and his Team. Snooping around his office at contract signing I noticed not 1, but 2 MBA's from UCONN - Engineering and Business, and he's an architect by trade....no wonder I thought he was such a quality partner! The experience was amazing from start to finish! On time, (started 1 day late due to Noreaster, but finished on time), within budget and the various artisans / craftsman that did the work were all excellent. I mean EXCELLENT. The demo guys (also painted, did tile, electric and trim work), Cabinet installer, Granite installers and Back-splash tilers were all amazing. They ALL showed up on time, did their work, were neat, clean and very pleasant and professional. Ahmed periodically stopped by to manage the project and other than 1 stressful morning when 3 contractors had challenges, all at once, it was smooth sailing and a super pleasant experience. I liked that Granite & Kitchen Studio has their own granite in their yard to pick from, has all the material and samples on site and has a retail showroom with knowledgeable staff to help. NOT the case with the other firm that came and would send me to Windsor to select my granite, and it would be cut elsewhere. I can't praise these folks enough for how they run their business and the quality of the work done by them and their sub-contractors. Two thumbs up (it's all I have!!) to Ahmed, Devon, Christine and the entire gang at GKS for a spectacular job!

After solution dried, globs on sealant all over the table. Won't come off with water or marble cleaner. - The image shows a marble countertop with a visible scratch and some leftover sealant or adhesive residue on its surface.

I wouldn't recommend using this company for sealing services. The team was friendly and arrived on time but simply did not do a good job. They did not do a good job cleaning the marble table or granite countertop before applying sealant. Last year I used Cromwell Granite & Tile. They did a great job cleaning and applying sealant; they also charge double the price. I guess the adage "you get what you pay for" applies in this situation.

A granite countertop with a polished surface features natural gray, white, and beige patterns, installed on a kitchen island or cabinet.

The entire process was a pleasure. We went in looking for a remnant piece for a small kitchen island and the level of service was outstanding. Octavien was clearly a product expert and a true professional. I will go there for all my kitchen/bath items.

We made an appointment with Eileen and she was wonderful. She educated us on the various types of sinks and grades of quality. She is a wealth of information and very easy to deal with without the high pressure sales pitch. We did up placing the sink purchase order with Eileen because of the quality product, fair price and great customer service. We would definitely come back to see Eileen for our next plumbing project!!

For starters - it was closed!! I went back during daylight, and it turns out this is a bathroom showroom! Still not sure how the name fits in, but whatevs. They're very nice (for the most part, more on that later) and eager to show off what turned out to be fairly high-end fixtures. It's actually both a kitchen AND a bathroom showroom, but after a late-nite run for the border and the aforementioned overserved situation, let's just say I was there to investigate the latter -- in a hurry as it turned out! Spoiled for choice is how I'd put it! Bender is not big on - ahem - privacy, but their tester thrones abound and like I said, high-end stuff. So you can imagine I was looking forward to killing two birds with one stone if you'll pardon the sloppy pun: relieving a desperate urge while vetting the goods. Top marks on both fronts! Bender, you're rightly proud of your fine merchandise. The model I test-drove must have been one of those newfangled "low-flow" jobbies, because I heard nary a splash, neither upon plop nor flush. No matter, all's well that ends well, and despite some slightly forward stares from the sales personnel, I brought a satisfactory end to the prior night's bacchanal. That delicious Dry Curaçao nightcap might not have been the wisest way to wind up the evening, and when I wrapped things up at Bender there was no question that it had made its way fully and conclusively through my system. Four stars to Bender for excellent selection, and four not five only because they'd forgotten to put out TP for my trial run. Otherwise a truly top-flight experience. Thanks Bender - I'll be back!!

The installers they use get paid by the job, they rush, finish in 1 day and get out of there. It's the worst "work" I have ever seen. This was the most expensive and time consuming mistake of our entire renovation. Customer service made the situation worse. Megan at the store was rude, dismissive, not solution oriented, and repeatedly blamed the customer instead of taking ownership of clearly documented installation failures. Measurements were incorrect, communication was horrific. Megan treats you like you should know how to design a kitchen and that you do it every day. She offers zero help and guidance. I had to call corporate to escalate the situation to have a second installer fix the kitchen which still was not properly corrected due to how terrible the first installers work was. Corporate refused to give me any sort of concession or discount. I honored my contract and paid on time. Cabinets To Go did not deliver professional installation, quality control, or accountability. Choose another company, I promise if you have an issue with this company they will not make it right. They will leave you with a kitchen that looks like it was done by a do it yourself homeowner. I recently when to Home Depot and spoke to a Wren Kitchen Representative. They have an amazing display of cabinets. So many beautiful option and everyone seemed so helpful. The cabinets come assembled already so there will be less margin for error. Cabinets to Go are not assembled and the installers put them together unevenly and bang them up. If I can help someone avoid the stress of what we just went through, I hope this review helps. It is so upsetting to look at my kitchen. It is terrible. But at least all of the big CEOs are making the big buck at cabinets to go. They don't care about people like us, remember that.
