Dr. Abraham Baidoo is a stellar doctor really taking care of my family members! Dr. Brian in Boulder City, NV should not be practicing medicine. He is a downright pr!ck. He is incredibly abusive, every single word he says is cutting, mean, rude, and makes you feel small. I am actually shocked he hasn't had clients absolutely deck him with how absolutely HORRENDOUS he treats patients. He is a miserable, small man and there is a reason there isn't Yelp for the Boulder City location. I've talked to several of his patients that are friends, and they all say how awful he is. Simple health questions we had, he was flippant, unresponsive and kept saying "I'll make the decisions, I'M the doctor. You don't know anything." I was so floored by how he treated us both, I almost got up and walked out mid-way through the initial appointment. I felt absolutely abused by Dr. Brian in Boulder City. We made the switch to the Henderson location and will never look back. We knew that literally ANYONE would be better than Dr. Brian in Boulder City. We hit the jackpot with Dr. Baidoo and his staff. The receptionists are so friendly and full of humor. They are helpful no matter what arises and Dr. Baidoo got on the phone personally when my family had a serious health infection before my family even went in for their first appointment. We immediately felt safe and were able to get in for a next day appointment early in the morning. We've visited Henderson location with Dr. Baidoo three times already and each visit gets better and better. We feel safe with Dr. Baidoo watching over the family member's case and he is very kind, incredibly knowledgeable, knows a lot of stuff other doctors don't, and incredibly importantly, Dr. Baidoo listens to his patients. Cannot recommend him enough and I've told all of my friends who see Dr. Brian in Boulder City to make the switch. No need to put up with abuse from a physician. It's already stressful enough going to the doctor's office. read more

I need to take a duo nebulizer solution every 4 hours. I called 2 day in advance to get a refill of Levalbuterol -- nothing. Called Saturday morning, I'm told they can't do anything, and that I'm being "unkind" for being upset! And, to go to the ER if necessary! I cannot recommend this place to anyone. Went to follow a doctor that I previously saw at another Intermountain Healthcare facility and had a appointment set up. Haven't been feeling well and wanted the dr to go over my lab results from early January. Set the appointment up and 4 days later on a friday for a monday appointment I received a voicemail stating that if I didnt have Medicare or medicaid that I wouldn't able to be seen. I followed up with by calling the number that was left on the voicemail. That is just the generic line, answered probably by a call center, the same center who set up the appointment. They eventually patched me through to the person working at the facility. I was told that unless I had Medicare or Medicaid as supplement insurance, I cant be seen. My insurance is supposed to be valid at any Intermountain health. When I said I saw that dr at another Intermountain health clinic she said she was sorry and its not the same there. She wasn't sorry, she didnt care. I would think twice before going to this clinic. read more

Booked my appointment a month in a half in advance, provided my insurance information during the process of booking my appointment, the day before my appointment I never received a confirmation or call, showed up for my appointment and they informed me they don't take my insurance. Meanwhile I took time off work just to make my appointment. This place was very unprofessional. if I could give it less than one star I would. when we first moved to the valley in 2019 I received excellent care. My Dr. then left the clinic and I was passed to a PA. She was also excellent. She also left the clinic. since their departure I have waited up to two weeks for prescriptions to be called into the pharmacy, leaving me in pain and unable to sleep. After the fourth time, I wrote a letter to both Admin in Salt Lake City and Patient Care in Salt Lake City. Crickets...nothin. Absolutely no response. Last week I needed to do labs for an upcoming appointment. I was encouraged not to go to Quest but to use in house laboratory. I checked in at the desk and had a seat. No one else was in the waiting room. After 20 min. the receptionist called out that someone would be with me soon. 25 minutes later I was finally called back. The lab tech was clearly not prepared. She left the room twice to get supplies. Then was digging through drawers and cabinets. When she finally got to me she began pouring my urine sample into tubes instead of taking my blood and letting me leave. I'm done and am now searching for a Dr. and/or clinic. There have been many other incidents that have occurred but this could turn into a book. People on Medicare stay away from Intermountain Health Generation One!!!! read more

Is one of the best urgen care I had eve been in. The medical staff is very nice and very helpful. This clinic is super clean. When I arrived was not busy. So, I got lucky that they were able to see me fast. The front desk staff were very pleasant to speak with, and they were able to help me with all my questions since it was my first time visiting this clinic. read more

The service by both doctors and receptionists stinks . You come in with an appointment and sit in the waiting room for awhile then , they call you back and you end up sitting just as long waiting for the doctor's assistant to see you , then you wait even longer for your doctor . I had one doctor tell me he'd be right back , he left me waiting for 40 minutes . I got up and asked an assistant where my doctor was .... She said oh he's out in the parking lot getting into his car to go home . I filed a complaint to the head of the medical staff that same day . I hope that doctor was fired .... You don't walk off and forget your patients for anything . I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE BECAUSE THEY CANT EVEN KEEP DOCTORS THERE They are constantly losing doctors and new ones coming in . read more

Wow unbelievable Idk how Dr Vance Washington still has his license when he can't even send the right medication to my pharmacy! To tell me to take medicine for a bump I have on my finger that interacts with my other medicine! Do you even read the files before you make judgment calls??? So instead of trying to figure out with the bump is you say "take ibuprofen" wow. How is the taken away the bump of fixing it? I feel bad for all the elderly that have to deal w him... This place sucks! They advertise they are open on Saturdays. Show up, "sorry we are closed today" This is the 2nd time, where they said they are open only to get there and be closed... They also don't know how to bill correctly, they ended up billing my father for my visit, when I'm well over 25 and have no ties to my fathers health care. they weren't kidding when they said the healthcare in NV was horrible. read more

Went to 4 places and called a Veterinary hospital before I found this place. I was searching for a place to stitch up a serious laceration on my hand. Called the companies call center and they stated there were only a few people in line. Went there and was seen within 45 minutes. Couldn't believe the wait time the other places were going to make me wait for such a simple procedure, and you would not be able to leave and come back either, and with the whole covid19 epidemic in play, who wants to be holed up in a crowded quick care for 2, 3, and even 4+ hours. The Doc was a very nice older gal who apparently had been with the company for 40 some years. Her bedside manner was tasteful and she worked quickly. The Docs assistant was also pleasant and down to earth, just a real person who related to me in my present issue. I had been dealing with some things, and had been confronting them openly. I felt no judgment here and was welcomed and taken care of quickly and efficiently. I walked away from this place feeling truly blessed. read more

My husband twisted his ankle while walking out of the water on the beach in Jamaica. Pain kept getting worse after we got back Wednesday so we called about getting an x-ray. They told us to come on in. Process was very quick. Staff was friendly and doctor was really nice. No fractures or broken bones. Just a bad sprain. They sent an anti-inflammatory prescription to our pharmacy immediately. Great place to go to for non emergency situations. Highly recommend:) read more

Very much upset on the way the person on the billing center reaction and attitude when asked a question on a statement. Lisa, was rude and kept cutting me off as I was asking her why I was not charged a copay at time I was at the office. The reason for the call was to validate that I had sent in the 15.00 payment and they had cashed it, but was sent a letter from a credit service. After the scolding that she gave me, she ended the conversation saying ...that was the way Intermountain does service. (CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT!) I go to a clinic that is 1 hour from my house because I like my medical Dr. The main reason is that she has a great repport with the patients and listens to my needs. I rate the Doctor and her assistant a 5, however the clinic office staff a 1 because of this confusing issue. I believe that Intermountain needs to get staff at the billing center to be courteous to the patients especially if it has to do with payment issues. read more

Dr. Vance Washington at Intermountain Health in Henderson is a Rockstar Doc. Like all good docs, he has an enormous amount of patients. (Someone wrote a negative comment that he only spent 15 minutes with them. 15 minutes with any doctor is a luxury. Trying to tarnish the reputation of a great physician because he's busy is very unenlightened and hateful. All great doctors are busy.) The waiting room was packed with his grateful patients. We are lucky to have such a great doctor in the Las Vegas valley. After a recent nightmarish men's health related crisis, I met with Dr. Washington. He was like a detective trying to sort through my situation. He knows what he is doing. He respectfully inquired about another doctor's choice regarding a dose of medication I was given, which likely caused my health crisis. He put his opinion in my chart. This is an honest, caring, confident doctor. I wish I found him years ago. His medical assistant was thorough and outstanding. The front desk staff keeps the well oiled machine going. Security guy was awesome.. The phlebotomist had an enormous load of patients and was excellent. Leyda, who I spoke with on the phone just today, was thoughtful and patient with my question. When I left my visit, I felt so relieved to be under the care of Dr. Washington and his great team! read more

It's been 3 years of coming here, and I can't stand it anymore. They recently changed their name and possibly ownership but the incompetence has been the one constant. Whether it's telling me I have to wait months for an appointment because my previous doctor left and therefore I'm a "new" patient (happened TWICE), or telling me they are referring me and then never actually getting around to sending the referral (3 times on that one). For refilling prescriptions, it's about 50/50 that I have to call back a second or third time to get them to actually send in the script. Most recently, they were referring me for an MRI but insurance declined it, so we appealed that decision. After several weeks of hearing nothing back despite being promised we would, we call back and their response was "oh yeah, it was approved weeks ago, in fact this referral expires in 2 days so if you don't get it done by then you have to start over". Then to top it all off, I come in for an appointment to hear my test results, and the doctor asks ME what the results were! That's literally the entire point of my being there, which I've now told 3 people, all to have the doctor ask?? And not a word of recommendation or diagnostic/treatment plan, which I guess is understandable since he literally just bothered to check the test results himself in the room with me, which doesn't leave much time for formulating a plan. It took me asking about surgery, after a solid 30 seconds of silence, for him to even offer a referral to a neurosurgeon for a consult to find out if that's even an option. If I hadn't, I think he would have continued to just sit there saying and doing nothing. So I'm done. I have better insurance now than 3 years ago and will happily never return read more

I have been going to this place for at least 10 years. I have Covid and cannot stop vomiting. I have called twice asking to have medication called in for vomiting. They won't help. They tell you to go to the ER. Every news channel says do not go to the ER. I asked if I can have a virtual appointment. They said they don't have that right now. I said I want to make an appointment for a virtual appointment then. They made up some excuse telling me "it's only on a walk in basis and you cannot come in here with covid". How is a virtual appointment only able to be had by walking in? Something is not right with this place. You guys wonder why the hospitals are overwhelmed? It's because of places like this. Everyone there kept telling me not to wait if I had a continuing issue or questions and to contact them right away. IMH Henderson office (West Lake Mead) called me four hours before my scheduled appointment today only to tell me that they do not take my Humana PPO insurance anymore. I told them that my appointment today was to refill my bipolar depression medicine of which I have been on for 4 to 5 years. I told them I only had five days left of this medication. They informed me that I was shit out of luck basically. They said since I didn't have any insurance, they could not refill my prescription. I spent the next three hours on the phone with Humana and Intermountain healthcare going back-and-forth with with them trying to understand if my insurance was valid or not. A few of this conversations were with Jordon. This guy should be fired as he does not know how to talk with mental health patients. He hung up on me once as I was talking. Mrs. Chambers who is the manager atIntermountain healthcare said she would call Humana herself to verify if I had insurance. Humana kept verifying that IMH had input my PPO as a COMMERCIAL PPO & that's why it kept coming up in their system as non valid. But Mrs Chambers & others at IMH would not listen to me. She said she would call me back after talking with Humana. She never did. I've been a patient at IMH for over 10 years and this is how they treat loyal patients? She never returned my call. What type of doctors, who take Hippocratic oath's to take care of their patients, leave their patients stranded without their depression bipolar medication? I told all of the people that I spoke with at Intermountain healthcare that I was a mental healthcare patient and that I could no longer go without my medication and if I did I would go postal or I would be a very violent person without my medication. They basically said tough shit. That's what Intermountain healthcare thinks of mental health care patients. I will be filing complaints with the state medical board and any other state board that deals with Intermountain healthcare. Shame on you quacks. read more
