I had a 10/10 experience at the ER at Cadence. I came in with severe chest pain, and Dr. Leavit was incredible from the start. He was thorough, compassionate, and genuinely focused on getting to the root of what was going on. I never felt rushed or dismissed. He took the time to explain everything and made sure all necessary tests were done. Two weeks prior, I had gone to St. Rose Hospital for the exact same pain and was told it was esophageal spasms without much testing. The pain went away the next day, but when it came back two weeks later, it was a full 10/10. When I explained this to Dr. Leavit, he told me that esophageal spasms are very difficult to definitively diagnose and that he wanted to run a full workup to be sure we weren't missing anything. I am so grateful he did. It turned out to be my gallbladder, and it needed to be removed. I was told it was close to rupturing, and catching it when they did likely prevented a much more serious situation. I was there for several hours before being admitted to Henderson Hospital, and although there was an emergency situation that caused some delays, the team kept me informed every step of the way. An administrative staff member checked on me multiple times to make sure I was okay and kept me updated, which I really appreciated. I don't remember my nurse's name, but he was equally amazing--kind, attentive, and compassionate. He made sure I had everything I needed during a long stay from about 8 PM to 3 AM. The entire time, I felt cared for, seen, and supported. It was clear that the team genuinely wanted to find answers, not just treat symptoms. This is my third experience with ER at Cadence. For the past two visits I have been respectfully and professionally treated by all the staff despite waiting and normal issues. This third visit was OUT of the realm of reality. Having been a provider myself for over 30 years I have never been treated or observed treatment so vile and unprofessional as that of DR, ADAM C. FLOOD I can't believe he has not lost his licensed to practice medicine. I fell in the airport parking lot and was in so much leg pain that I came in to be sure I didn't tear a ligament. The pain was 10/10 I could hardly get in and out the car lucky for me they had a WC and I came in cause I could not put weight on my knee. From the onset DR. FLOOD was very dismissive rude and would repeat "What DO YOU WANT ME TO DO " finally he took a look at my knee said I don't see anything " BUT "IF you want I can take an Xray " I said well ok but that won't show if I tore a tendon or ligament.... and he said" WELL THATS THE BEST I CAN DO CAUSE I DON'T SEE ANYTHING AND WE DONT HAVE ANY OTHER CAPABILITES HERE" HE bold face lied,. He continue there was nothing but "crutches "repeating what else do you want ?" His lack of bedside manner and sense compassion is less than a severely damaged narcissist that needs treatment... He should not be in a position to provide it. GO see your primary care he shouted over and over. Well I finally did see my primary care and had and MRI which took several weeks of more pain and not walking to find I have a TEAR IN THE POSTERIOR ROOT OF THE LATERAL MENISCUS. !! Thanks a lot DR???? FLOOD. I hope Cadence ER can remove you like the bad ROT that you are in a place that doesn't deserve YOUR KIND! read more

I had been here 4 or 5 times and had good experiences prior to this visit. But when I checked into this ER about 1:30pm on Sat Aug 22 with a severely infected index finger and was in a lot of pain (8-9 on a scale of 10) I thought I would get the same competent care. Oh boy was I wrong. Within a few minutes I was led to an ER room and the attending Dr looked at my finger and in about 5 min a technician came and X-rayed my hand. I was happy things moved quickly. There were only like 4 patients awaiting care - it was a very slow day. But then for almost THREE SOLID HOURS no one helped me. I had to ask for an ice pack twice and even that melted in like 20 minutes. Not one person asked if I needed more ice, or if I needed water or if I needed pain meds. I laid there in agony. I can't believe there are doctors and nurses who won't even check on a patient in their ER care for almost 3 hours...nothing. Not even to come in and see if I was still alive. So I simply walked out - and even then not one Dr or nurse bothered to look up from their phones and laptops to see where I was going - disgraceful medical care. I hope someone from the State Medical Licensing Bureau reads this and does an inquiry into how an ER can allow a patient to walk out. Everyone on duty that day should get severe reprimands. Henderson Hospital should sack all medical staff who were on duty that afternoon - and I should get my insurance ER copay refunded - which by the way you overcharged me for my copay! You charged me $250 but my copay at ER is $130 - which what they correctly charged me at St. Rose. So then I drove 500 yards down the road to a competent ER at St Rose who recognized I had a severe systemic MRSA infection and took blood samples and bacteria cultures and also WITHIN 5 MINUTES relieved my pain (and they had 5x the number of patients). Truly a better class of doctors at St Rose. I have forwarded this review to the CEO and soon he will learn I submitted also a complaint and adverse patient safety event to the JOINT COMMISSION ON HEALTH ORG ACCREDITATION. I hope the Joint Commission shows up and inspects every inch of that place and sacks the medical staff. read more

I went in at 4 in the morning my head was like sparklers in my head and my skin was hurting. When I walked in the dr asked me what was wrong? I told him I think I have shingles again, I've had it before. So, the rest of the interaction became about proving I didn't have shingles. I was tired I just wanted to be taken care of. His arrogant attitude was so off putting. He says I think you need to go to your primary and get a referral to a nerve specialist. I'm sorry but what? I'm here now hurting now. He sighs like he's giving in , ok I'll treat you for shingles. He said it wasn't shingles because no lesions , I guess he doesn't know you can have shingles with no lesions. Well it's 5 days later and I am feeling better with the treatment. I was so disappointed,we go there for help not to be ridiculed and treated like we're stupid. Avoid this incompetence. No one works the front desk and as we yelled for assistance for 5 minutes, a man who could clearly hear us walked into a nearby room without turning to check. This is an EMERGENCY ROOM. Turns out that male was THE DOCTOR. He deliberately ignored us. I saw you Dr. Watanabe and you heard us. The male nurse made us all uncomfortable as he insisted on viewing the naked child when there wasn't an evaluation at the moment. I kept asking for a female nurse present. The medical biller called the doctor by his first name, not by his credentials. Doctor was running errands like a nurse. Whole thing was a bad experience and WAY overpriced. I'm reporting this establishment because this is an ER room with real patients and I WANT TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE SAFE, Dr. Watanabe. This can't happen again. There were no other emergencies and the whole building was EMPTY. No excuse. Do not come here in any emergency bc you will probably stand yelling for assistance. On top of that, you will be met with eye rolls from the male nurse who said he was gonna ask the child, "a bunch of weird questions", and then speculated about how the child received the injury. They insinuated fault without explanation. Male nurse was instantly irritated when I asked him for privacy when child was undressed. He was also upset that we were upset for how we were being treated since the front desk telling the crying burnt child to calm down. The only competent person was the female nurse who made the child feel safe, and us heard. We love her and hope she doesn't taint her love for nursing under such bad management. read more

Front desk/security person acted Like he couldn't care less about what was happening. He moved so slow and actually appeared to be napping. We brought in an emergency and he couldn't even communicate or ask questions he just pushed a clip board forward and sat there....We had a friend with us who is an ER nurse she tried to talk to him but he wouldn't respond just slowly walked to the back. Yep. Five stars at an ER. I came in just after 9am after a trip and fall in my new home. I knew something was wrong. Very wrong. I got signed in and took a seat, it was probably no more than 10 minutes and I was called back to a room. I was seen by the Doctor and you know what? He knew something was wrong, too. Portable Xray came in to take xrays of my elbow and guess what? Broken. Like .. BROKEN. They put me in a splint and made sure I had a referral to an Ortho for ASAP. When I had some trouble getting the referral to go through, I called back and they helped me get another referral for a different Doctor. All in all, i think I was in the ER for just over an hour. Definitely less than 2 hours. I'm so glad this place is right by my house, both because it's convenient and because I drove myself there with a broken right elbow. Ouch. read more

I had arm surgery that was not healing well and my pain was 10/10. She was incredibly helpful. Her assistant or I think he's the head nurse Devon was just fantastic as well. I brought my father-in-law to the ER on Saturday morning because he was not feeling well. We were devastated to learn that he has a mass on his liver. The ER doctor strongly recommended transferring him to Spring Valley Hospital, assuring us that he would have access to a GI specialist there that night or at the latest the next day. The doctor even told us that we would be seeing the "head medical director in the ER." It is now Sunday night and there has been no GI doctor insight. We have repeatedly been told that he might be seen on Monday. My dad has been in the hospital for over a day and no doctor has come by to check on his status. The only nurse that seems to care was Shannon Nguyen. Meanwhile, he remains hospitalized, waiting without answers while our family worries and stresses over his condition. What was even more concerning was when we arrived Saturday morning, we found him halfway off his bed with the bed alarm sounding and no staff responding. Thankfully, we were there and rushed in to help him. This experience left us deeply concerned about patient monitoring and responsiveness during what is already an incredibly stressful and frightening time for families. When we asked about transferring him to another hospital closer to home, we were told it was not possible. We feel misled and trapped in a system where the promises made to us have not been fulfilled. As healthcare providers, YOUR primary responsibility is to YOUR patients, NOT to the hospital system. If you or a loved one are receiving care here, be your own advocate. Ask questions, speak up, and don't assume that what you're told will necessarily happen. I sincerely hope my father-in-law receives the care he needs soon. read more

Because I could not see my primary care doctor until next week, and because my specialist was not responding to messages, I did a telehealth visit and was directed to seek care at either an urgent care center or an emergency room. This is a new facility close to my home. It is clean, modern, sparkling maybe even. The intake process was easy, and the two nurses who helped me were very pleasant and personable. After they and the doctor heard my concerns, I was given a plan on what to do next and left feeling confident about the path forward. So why didn't I give five stars? The doctor was very pointed about the role of the facility, that as an ER it is there for people who are in "near death" situations. Of course he could have said nothing, and should seriously check his attitude. read more

I had a great experience at this ER. I went in with 10/10 foot pain due to an injury. Dr. Johnson was very kind and prompt in assessing my injury and creating a treatment plan. I must give a special shout out to Aaron, he was great! Aaron was walking around blowing bubbles which boosted my morale, and gave me a good laugh, as I was in so much pain. Dr. Johnson, Aaron, the x-ray tech, and the nurse were all very kind and attentive towards me. Nice business. Good care. For compassion reasons they could have informed us what we came in for wasn't an emergency. Unfortunately we didn't know the difference between urgent care and er. We were charged 3700 for a an eye wash. I have compassion so please beware this isn't urgent care and they have no problem taking your money for a non emergency. Unless you are dying go to an urgent care for cheaper prices literally 5 minutes up the road. read more

Unorganized. That's the main theme. As someone who has worked in the ED for over five years (for this same company mind you) I know how things should run. And my visit was not that. Waited 20 minutes to check in. Checked in and did not have vital signs recorded until after 50 mins on the board; and only because I told my nurse that they never took them when I checked in. Waited 15 minutes for a bed, then waited over an hour for the MD to see me. Dr. Kara Dienes was very sweet and willing to listen to what was going on with me. She told me what she was going to order; but then didn't put those orders in. I had to have my nurse go and remind her to finish the orders. I pointed out that there was no pregnancy ordered...knowing this would delay my CT. That prompted them to place the order. Meds were slow, had to ask multiple times for the orders to be placed. Waited over 2 hours for the CT and then 1.5 hours for it to be resulted. In total, over 4 hours in the department. They were not as busy as the staff acted, it seems like with some organization things could have run a lot smoother. I was pretty disappointed. The facility is new and clean and smells new, but the quality of care feels old and run down. read more

I came in around 10:45PM. All staff was very kind & nonjudgemental. Informative and answered all of my 'stupid questions'. I was admitted in quickly and was given attention quickly as well. I am not a big fan of hospitals, they creep me out and freak me out lots since my past visits were due to suicide attempts however, the friendly staff made my environment less scary and more comforting. Wow! This place is awesome. We came in for treatment of a earache. We were literally seen by a provider in less than 20 minutes. They gave us meds, wrote us a prescription and sent us on our way. The staff was VERY friendly and efficient. They can do x-rays, ultrasounds, give medication and many other things. Also, if your issue does need a hospital, patients coming from this ER get priority at Henderson Hospital. We found the quality of care to be great. read more

I'm a pregnant woman and was having incredible stomach pain and uti symptoms, took 15mins to get into the room had to fill out a sheet of my symptoms (no problem) then had one nurse come in and asked me the same type of questions then had another doctor again asked me the same questions- waited in the room for about 30 to 45 minutes and I wasn't seen. I was in so much pain me and my husband decided I would probably get better care at a different ER. my husband walked out of the room to find the same doctor that saw us last on his phone laughing, my husband then asked if we could leave. Don't know how Dr. Adam C. Flood is licensed to practice medicine. Took my daughter in for an allergic reaction- didn't check her temperature, didn't even entertain checking the back of her throat. My husband had to ask for him to check her lungs and breathing. By far the worst experience, lack of bedside manner and patient care. The least he could have done was pretend he cared for my daughter's health. When we brought our concerns to his attention he then tried to argue with my husband. Truly insane and definitely would never go back even in a life-death situation. Mind you, there was no one in the ER- so there wasn't other pressing issues at the time. They also charged $7,900 for "emergency service". What does that even mean? Sadly I have to say this place should not be consider a medical facility. I went here back on a Saturday night in November because I was running a fever of 102.6 and was unable to break the fever even with the help of medication after 2 days. The staff is friendly, however they failed to do a simple COVID test, rather they took X-Rays and gave me a prescription strength Tylenol pill while there and sent me home with a prescription for over the counter cough medicine and Ibuprofens. After buying a Covid test kit, it turns out I had COVID which they didn't test for. I called my primary physician the following Monday and had a prescription for Paxlovid called into my local pharmacy. Thankfully I decided to purchase a Covid test kit, otherwise who knows I could have been back in their facility in much worse condition. Their failure to do a simple test could have resulted in me getting much sicker and I am hoping there was not an ulterior motive so that I would have to come back resulting in them being able to run up significantly more charges. To make matters worse, I get a call from their billing office the day before Christmas threatening to send me to collection for an unpaid balance that is not even 60 days old for which I had no knowledge of since I never received a bill. How can I be expected to pay something that I don't know about. I instructed them to send me a bill and I will gladly pay any outstanding balance, since I was not going to give out my financial information to someone on the phone that could be a potential scammer. Simple request right, but then that is when I was threatening with my account going to collections, even more signs that this could be a scam; (give me money now or else). Total lack of regard or professionalism. Once I receive a legitimate, bill I will gladly pay it as I do with all my bills, but I will never go to ER at Cadence or any affiliated locations. read more

Went in last night, I was in unimaginable pain, the RN Kyle, the RN, Erica, and Dr Stevens were amazing, they managed my pain. I left with a diagnosis and there was no stress.
