I came in around 10:45PM. All staff was very kind & nonjudgemental. Informative and answered all of my 'stupid questions'. I was admitted in quickly and was given attention quickly as well. I am not a big fan of hospitals, they creep me out and freak me out lots since my past visits were due to suicide attempts however, the friendly staff made my environment less scary and more comforting. I appreciate the kindness and patience of the staff here! Thanks for taking care of me and may all of them be blessed!-Trisha!!!!

My husband decided I needed to go to the ER and all they told me was that I had a UTI. All they did was blood and a urine test. They did tell me I was septic but i was okay if I wanted to go home because they sat and watched the monitor hit the numbers they wanted to see and said I was good. We made sure to ask them are you sure it's just UTI and they told me yes that we caught it early and I was okay to go home. But I literally remember looking at the guy and saying I've never in my 23 years of life threw up due to a UTI. Again we made sure to ask like even though i was showing i was septic that they as medical professionals thought it was okay to go home and they said yes and we trusted them. The next morning i stay home from work and I literally slept all day long because i could barely stay awake and slurring my words. My husband was trying to call me all day but rush home because i was so out of it I didn't answer anyone. He said i looked dead on the couch... he said i was pale and hard to wake up. he rushed me to green valley er while trying to keep my conscious. We got to the new er which was sooo much better. They did so many test right away and realized i was severely septic early on and told my husband that if he didn't bring me in It would have been really bad. I was not only really septic but had a 5mm kidney stone. They transferred to Henderson hospital where I would spend a week in and and out of being septic in the IMC unit My body took a while to recover and had a hard time fighting the fever and my heart rate wouldn't go down due to it all.. all while I miss my sons first real Halloween.

He had to be told not to take my BP until the I had sat for a few minutes and not while talking bc it gives an inaccurate reading. Then he didn't even ask if I knew the correct method to put an ace bandage on a fractured foot. Admittedly it's been over two decades since I had to use an ace bandage. So no I had to look it up. When I was preparing to leave I was very dizzy due to orthostatic hypertension. Which caused blurred vision. The MA went a head of me to hold the door open. The NP saw I was dizzy bc I bumped into the wall and brought over a wheelchair while the male MA just stood there with a blank stare Lastly, the male MA gave me crutches and when I got home saw I that he put each one at different heights. Another reason I bumped into the wall. Oh, I only learned about the RX they sent to the wrong pharmacy bc I was reading my records. The NP or MA didn't even tell me about the RX. Two months ago my husband went to this location. The doctor took a listen to his lungs, left the room and the MA came to say 5 RX would be called in no explanation. My husband had to return a week later at which time they did an x-ray to determine he had the pneumonia. So why wasn't that done on the first visit?

My sister is a stroke recovery patient who saw her PCP, Dr. Pervaiz, at American Urgent Care (AUC)…read moreon May 18 following her discharge from inpatient rehabilitation. During that visit, she needed: 1. An outpatient rehabilitation referral 2. A neurologist referral 3. A CT scan referral 4. Prescription refills 5. Completion of a disability form Although Dr. Pervaiz spent only a few minutes with my sister before leaving for another facility, we came prepared with a clear list of required items. During the visit, I reviewed these items with both the physician and office staff and confirmed the information needed to complete each request. Despite these discussions, none of the requested items were completed correctly or in a timely manner, resulting in significant delays in my sister's care. 1. Outpatient Rehabilitation Referral I provided an NCEP outpatient rehabilitation brochure containing NCEP's fax number and location information. Approximately one week after the visit, we received a referral to a children's therapy provider despite my sister being over 45 years old. This error required multiple follow-up communications and delayed the start of her rehabilitation services. 2. Neurologist Referral After multiple follow-ups with the clinic, we received a referral more than a week later. However, the phone number listed on the referral did not correspond to the provider address and NPI listed on the referral. As of June 3, AUC still had not provided a valid neurologist referral. 3. CT Scan Referral My sister had to return to the clinic the following week to request the CT scan referral again because it had not been processed. The referral was not faxed to the imaging provider as requested. After obtaining an emailed copy and forwarding it myself, I learned that the referred imaging provider did not accept my sister's insurance. This required additional follow-up with AUC and several more days of delay before a corrected referral could be obtained. 4. Prescription Refills At the May 18 visit, we provided a concise medication list from my sister's hospital discharge paperwork, including anti-seizure medication, blood pressure medication, and cardiac medication. I repeatedly emphasized that her medications would run out by the end of the month and that no refills remained. Office staff confirmed the pharmacy information during the visit. By May 28, no prescriptions had been sent to the pharmacy. We were forced to make multiple calls to the clinic before the prescriptions were processed. We later learned that one of these follow-up calls had been documented as a telehealth visit. Given the importance of these medications to a recent stroke patient, the delays and handling of this matter were highly concerning. 5. Disability Form We provided a one-page disability form to be completed by the physician during the May 18 visit. Despite multiple follow-up requests, the completed form was not returned until the first week of June. These issues are documented through communications with the clinic. The repeated errors, delays, and lack of follow-through significantly impacted my sister's post-stroke care during a critical recovery period. Based on these documented events, I am filing this complaint with the Better Business Bureau for review.
