I had a 10/10 experience at the ER at Cadence. I came in with severe chest pain, and Dr. Leavit was incredible from the start. He was thorough, compassionate, and genuinely focused on getting to the root of what was going on. I never felt rushed or dismissed. He took the time to explain everything and made sure all necessary tests were done. Two weeks prior, I had gone to St. Rose Hospital for the exact same pain and was told it was esophageal spasms without much testing. The pain went away the next day, but when it came back two weeks later, it was a full 10/10. When I explained this to Dr. Leavit, he told me that esophageal spasms are very difficult to definitively diagnose and that he wanted to run a full workup to be sure we weren't missing anything. I am so grateful he did. It turned out to be my gallbladder, and it needed to be removed. I was told it was close to rupturing, and catching it when they did likely prevented a much more serious situation. I was there for several hours before being admitted to Henderson Hospital, and although there was an emergency situation that caused some delays, the team kept me informed every step of the way. An administrative staff member checked on me multiple times to make sure I was okay and kept me updated, which I really appreciated. I don't remember my nurse's name, but he was equally amazing--kind, attentive, and compassionate. He made sure I had everything I needed during a long stay from about 8 PM to 3 AM. The entire time, I felt cared for, seen, and supported. It was clear that the team genuinely wanted to find answers, not just treat symptoms. Yep. Five stars at an ER. I came in just after 9am after a trip and fall in my new home. I knew something was wrong. Very wrong. I got signed in and took a seat, it was probably no more than 10 minutes and I was called back to a room. I was seen by the Doctor and you know what? He knew something was wrong, too. Portable Xray came in to take xrays of my elbow and guess what? Broken. Like .. BROKEN. They put me in a splint and made sure I had a referral to an Ortho for ASAP. When I had some trouble getting the referral to go through, I called back and they helped me get another referral for a different Doctor. All in all, i think I was in the ER for just over an hour. Definitely less than 2 hours. I'm so glad this place is right by my house, both because it's convenient and because I drove myself there with a broken right elbow. Ouch. read more

Front desk/security person acted Like he couldn't care less about what was happening. He moved so slow and actually appeared to be napping. We brought in an emergency and he couldn't even communicate or ask questions he just pushed a clip board forward and sat there....We had a friend with us who is an ER nurse she tried to talk to him but he wouldn't respond just slowly walked to the back. Dr Dang was absolutely amazing. I came in and was so so fast. She took me so seriously, I was afraid she would make me wait to see my surgeon or my specialist . I had arm surgery that was not healing well and my pain was 10/10. She was incredibly helpful. Her assistant or I think he's the head nurse Devon was just fantastic as well. I had a great experience at this ER. I went in with 10/10 foot pain due to an injury. Dr. Johnson was very kind and prompt in assessing my injury and creating a treatment plan. I must give a special shout out to Aaron, he was great! Aaron was walking around blowing bubbles which boosted my morale, and gave me a good laugh, as I was in so much pain. Dr. Johnson, Aaron, the x-ray tech, and the nurse were all very kind and attentive towards me. I have been to this location multiple times and will absolutely be returning (should I need to) because of the great care I received! read more

I brought my father-in-law to the ER on Saturday morning because he was not feeling well. We were devastated to learn that he has a mass on his liver. The ER doctor strongly recommended transferring him to Spring Valley Hospital, assuring us that he would have access to a GI specialist there that night or at the latest the next day. The doctor even told us that we would be seeing the "head medical director in the ER." It is now Sunday night and there has been no GI doctor insight. We have repeatedly been told that he might be seen on Monday. My dad has been in the hospital for over a day and no doctor has come by to check on his status. The only nurse that seems to care was Shannon Nguyen. Meanwhile, he remains hospitalized, waiting without answers while our family worries and stresses over his condition. What was even more concerning was when we arrived Saturday morning, we found him halfway off his bed with the bed alarm sounding and no staff responding. Thankfully, we were there and rushed in to help him. This experience left us deeply concerned about patient monitoring and responsiveness during what is already an incredibly stressful and frightening time for families. When we asked about transferring him to another hospital closer to home, we were told it was not possible. We feel misled and trapped in a system where the promises made to us have not been fulfilled. As healthcare providers, YOUR primary responsibility is to YOUR patients, NOT to the hospital system. If you or a loved one are receiving care here, be your own advocate. Ask questions, speak up, and don't assume that what you're told will necessarily happen. I sincerely hope my father-in-law receives the care he needs soon. read more

Nice business. Good care. For compassion reasons they could have informed us what we came in for wasn't an emergency. Unfortunately we didn't know the difference between urgent care and er. We were charged 3700 for a an eye wash. I have compassion so please beware this isn't urgent care and they have no problem taking your money for a non emergency. Unless you are dying go to an urgent care for cheaper prices literally 5 minutes up the road. read more

Because I could not see my primary care doctor until next week, and because my specialist was not responding to messages, I did a telehealth visit and was directed to seek care at either an urgent care center or an emergency room. This is a new facility close to my home. It is clean, modern, sparkling maybe even. The intake process was easy, and the two nurses who helped me were very pleasant and personable. After they and the doctor heard my concerns, I was given a plan on what to do next and left feeling confident about the path forward. So why didn't I give five stars? The doctor was very pointed about the role of the facility, that as an ER it is there for people who are in "near death" situations. Of course he could have said nothing, and should seriously check his attitude. read more

I came in around 10:45PM. All staff was very kind & nonjudgemental. Informative and answered all of my 'stupid questions'. I was admitted in quickly and was given attention quickly as well. I am not a big fan of hospitals, they creep me out and freak me out lots since my past visits were due to suicide attempts however, the friendly staff made my environment less scary and more comforting. Unorganized. That's the main theme. As someone who has worked in the ED for over five years (for this same company mind you) I know how things should run. And my visit was not that. Waited 20 minutes to check in. Checked in and did not have vital signs recorded until after 50 mins on the board; and only because I told my nurse that they never took them when I checked in. Waited 15 minutes for a bed, then waited over an hour for the MD to see me. Dr. Kara Dienes was very sweet and willing to listen to what was going on with me. She told me what she was going to order; but then didn't put those orders in. I had to have my nurse go and remind her to finish the orders. I pointed out that there was no pregnancy ordered...knowing this would delay my CT. That prompted them to place the order. Meds were slow, had to ask multiple times for the orders to be placed. Waited over 2 hours for the CT and then 1.5 hours for it to be resulted. In total, over 4 hours in the department. They were not as busy as the staff acted, it seems like with some organization things could have run a lot smoother. I was pretty disappointed. The facility is new and clean and smells new, but the quality of care feels old and run down. read more

Don't know how Dr. Adam C. Flood is licensed to practice medicine. Took my daughter in for an allergic reaction- didn't check her temperature, didn't even entertain checking the back of her throat. My husband had to ask for him to check her lungs and breathing. By far the worst experience, lack of bedside manner and patient care. The least he could have done was pretend he cared for my daughter's health. When we brought our concerns to his attention he then tried to argue with my husband. Truly insane and definitely would never go back even in a life-death situation. Mind you, there was no one in the ER- so there wasn't other pressing issues at the time. Wow! This place is awesome. We came in for treatment of a earache. We were literally seen by a provider in less than 20 minutes. They gave us meds, wrote us a prescription and sent us on our way. The staff was VERY friendly and efficient. They can do x-rays, ultrasounds, give medication and many other things. Also, if your issue does need a hospital, patients coming from this ER get priority at Henderson Hospital. We found the quality of care to be great. read more

I'm a pregnant woman and was having incredible stomach pain and uti symptoms, took 15mins to get into the room had to fill out a sheet of my symptoms (no problem) then had one nurse come in and asked me the same type of questions then had another doctor again asked me the same questions- waited in the room for about 30 to 45 minutes and I wasn't seen. I was in so much pain me and my husband decided I would probably get better care at a different ER. my husband walked out of the room to find the same doctor that saw us last on his phone laughing, my husband then asked if we could leave. So we did. Wow. I respect doctors, but I would like them to respect me back when I'm in a whole lotta pain and all I wanted was help. read more

Don't use them! They charged my health insurance just under $24,000 for a CT scan! When I looked up how much the exact test should cost it's $400-1,000. They also charged $7,900 for "emergency service". What does that even mean? My bill from that visit is $1,600 to tell me my kid has gas pains and they told me to go to Smiths and buy the generic GasX. read more

Sadly I have to say this place should not be consider a medical facility. I went here back on a Saturday night in November because I was running a fever of 102.6 and was unable to break the fever even with the help of medication after 2 days. The staff is friendly, however they failed to do a simple COVID test, rather they took X-Rays and gave me a prescription strength Tylenol pill while there and sent me home with a prescription for over the counter cough medicine and Ibuprofens. After buying a Covid test kit, it turns out I had COVID which they didn't test for. I called my primary physician the following Monday and had a prescription for Paxlovid called into my local pharmacy. Thankfully I decided to purchase a Covid test kit, otherwise who knows I could have been back in their facility in much worse condition. Their failure to do a simple test could have resulted in me getting much sicker and I am hoping there was not an ulterior motive so that I would have to come back resulting in them being able to run up significantly more charges. To make matters worse, I get a call from their billing office the day before Christmas threatening to send me to collection for an unpaid balance that is not even 60 days old for which I had no knowledge of since I never received a bill. How can I be expected to pay something that I don't know about. I instructed them to send me a bill and I will gladly pay any outstanding balance, since I was not going to give out my financial information to someone on the phone that could be a potential scammer. Simple request right, but then that is when I was threatening with my account going to collections, even more signs that this could be a scam; (give me money now or else). Total lack of regard or professionalism. Once I receive a legitimate, bill I will gladly pay it as I do with all my bills, but I will never go to ER at Cadence or any affiliated locations. read more

Went in last night, I was in unimaginable pain, the RN Kyle, the RN, Erica, and Dr Stevens were amazing, they managed my pain. I left with a diagnosis and there was no stress. They were the most friendly people and I left in no pain thank you cadence ER and thank you to all the people who helped me last night. I passed a kidney stone. read more
