I was treated the ER for an internal issue. We did schedule for an appointment and when we arrived were promptly taken to the treatment area. I can say without reservation that the professionals who work here are excellent. They're friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous to both me wife and I. We are fortunate to have this quality of health care so close to home. Thank you all

My boyfriend's bleeding head injury he had to ask to be cleaned. The doctor discharged him without even looking at it.

Never felt pain like this before in my life, and I've had back surgery for scoliosis. From start to finish I felt like I was being taken well care of. The staff here is amazing. They did all of the necessary testing on me to determine the nature of my emergency. Needless to say, I ate way too many shelled peanuts at once that caused this emergency. I left feeling a lot better, and prescriptions that would get me past the next couple of days of recovery. Nothing major. Just prescription strength Tylenol and meds for nausea and vomiting. They said I could have peanuts again in the future, just in moderation, but this experience has me swearing off peanuts entirely. Not worth the risk with the pain I was in. I have to eat things like soup and bananas for the next two days to let my stomach heal, but a small price to pay for my health and well-being. Great staff and very professional.

To preface, I was 21 weeks pregnant and went to the ER and they wheeled me up directly to the labor & delivery unit. The staff was all absolutely amazing and so kind. Stephanie was our nurse and she was so amazing. I definitely appreciated how kind she was especially since I was scared as to what was going on. Long story short, everything is fine with the baby and me, but I had kidney stones so drink your water, people! haha. I had no idea you're more prone to kidney stones when you're pregnant. Hard lesson learned. The staff was really nice and accommodating and I don't feel like I was waiting too long on anything. They definitely were a bit busy and the doctor that was supposed to examine me was delivering a baby, so I had to a wait a bit there, but I definitely felt like their care there was great. Hopefully I'm not back till I have to deliver the baby haha but really appreciative of the amazing staff at the ER and the Labor & Delivery unit.

I love how quickly I am called back after checking in how friendly the staff is but I don't like misinformation and the feeling of being dismissed! The nurses seem to be running around trying to figure out what's going on! One of the nurses complained they are understaffed and the top floor of the hospital isn't even open!! So patients who are admitted may have to spend days on an uncomfortable and cold gurney in the ER! It took everything for me to get my husband to finally go to the ER for soreness and a rash that developed on his nose after being exposed to gasoline fumes at work. Things went well in the beginning. The doctor looked at his nose, asked a few questions and said he would run some tests, take some images, and prescribe something for the pain and irritation. He was a bit rushed but we trusted him! Once we were called back to a room, we never saw the doctor again!!! Every 30 to 45 minutes, I stopped a nurse to ask if they can provide Tylenol or something for my husband's pain and discomfort, each nurse said "I"ll check" and was never heard from again! He remained in uncomfortable pain for hours!! Blood was drawn although we were told they aren't equipped with the right tests for chemical poisoning! His blood came back with no traces of poisoning based on their substandard test! Then workman's comp paperwork was given to my husband, he filled it out and the doctor, with his limited knowledge, said he could not see the correlation between my husband's symptoms and exposure to harmful gas fumes! Really?!? The State of Nevada Poison Control website says differently!!! So he made the paperwork invalid!! Needless to say the doctor never followed up or even bothered to ask if we had questions! We were asked to leave the room and sit in the waiting area so they could keep the room available for new patients! The wait room was empty?!? And umm.. my husband was still a patient in need of care!! His pain wasn't a good enough reason?!? So he sat in the waiting area with a needle for an IV in his arm and was eventually discharged by the front desk?!? Needless to say, my husband did not get a prescription for the pain in his nose that spread to his upper lip and forehead, the blood test was inadequate, and the workman's comp paperwork was insufficient! And if there was any chance of me ever getting my husband to go to the doctor again, it was lost on this lengthy, disappointing, and expensive visit!! He left the same way he arrived and muttered "This was such a waste of time and money!"

The previous time I did this, I was able to go during my lunch break. Here's what happened this time. First I got an email from PDS Medical on 12/24/25 reminding me I have an appointment on January 7th, 2026. I confirmed the appointment. Then I get an email on 12/30/25 reminding me I have an appointment and letting me know that I can save time by using e check-in. Done. I checked in using the online portal. Finally. I got a text message the morning of my appointment on Jan 7th again reminding me I have an appointment. Confirmed! My appointment was at 1:30pm, so I took a lunch break from 1:00pm-2:00pm. I showed up at 1:15pm. Checked in at the front desk. The receptionist, a very nice lady named Esmeralda charged me my $70 copayment. She emailed me my receipt. Receipt received in my email at 1:17pm. I waited in the lobby patiently. I was then called in at my appointment time exactly at 1:30pm. The assistant took my blood pressure & weight, then escorted me to the waiting room at 1:35. I sat in the waiting room until 2:00pm! Christine V. never showed up! I heard her walk into a room of a patient that showed up after me at 1:58pm! There was no communication from the staff letting me know they were short staffed. Nor was there any communication for warning me that the wait would be longer than expected. I left as soon as my lunch break ended 2pm (and returned to work late). I did let the nice receptionist know that no one ever came in the room to see me. She could tell I was upset when I walked out. Do you think anyone called me to apologize? No! Not during the drive home, nor during the remainder of the afternoon or evening! The next day I got a message from the MyChart portal letting me know my prescription refill was denied. The portion I paid for my blood work on 12/24, and the $70 copay for the office was a waste of money!

I tried to reach their office before my appointment due to a miss call and no one could tell me the reason why they initially called. I arrived at the original location only to be told that my nurse practitioner changed locations and that my appointment was moved to Henderson. They decided to change my appointment last minute to this office which is not what I agreed on. The appointment was made to discuss my blood results/ count as a physical but since they could not communicate the location change in a timely manner this appointment was "cancelled". Due to the inconvenience they decided to continue my appointment virtually. An appointment that is 100% covered by insurance turned into an almost $350 appointment. I have been trying to get this issue resolved and was told they would resolve it when my insurance representative got in contact with them but now it looks like they sent me to collections. Sunrise Hospital - Cardiac Ablation Experience (February 19)…read more I recently underwent a cardiac ablation at Sunrise Hospital, and I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the entire team who cared for me. The day prior to my procedure, I was called for pre-op admission. Although it felt somewhat last minute, the process was handled beautifully. Felicia, who assisted me with the admission process, was incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming. She gave me clear instructions on where to enter and what to expect. When I arrived, she made the experience comfortable and even shared a few laughs with me, which helped ease my nerves. She later completed my blood work and EKG with the same professionalism and warmth. She truly made a difference. When I first scheduled the procedure, Gabby was the initial point of contact. I am unsure of her department, but she was pleasant, thorough, and answered all my questions patiently. She set the tone for a positive experience from the very beginning. Upon arrival at Sunrise the morning of my procedure (5:30 a.m.), the staff at the entrance and security were professional and courteous. I was impressed by the updated technology at the entrance and the overall efficiency of the check-in process. At registration, Ashley assisted me with my admission. There was a complication regarding workers' compensation coverage, and she handled it with patience and diligence. She made the necessary calls and ensured everything was confirmed properly. I truly appreciated her effort and professionalism. On the morning of the procedure, the nursing staff who first brought me back were friendly and helped me feel at ease immediately. Karla initially seemed reserved (understandably so at that early hour), but once we got settled, she was wonderful. She was efficient, attentive, and even shared some laughs with me. She moved the process along smoothly and made sure I had everything I needed. First impressions can sometimes take a moment to warm up, and I'm so glad we did, she was great. In the operating room, I was genuinely impressed by the level of technology and coordination. It had been decades since I had been in a hospital setting, and I could clearly see how much advancement has been made. The room was filled with a highly organized team who worked seamlessly together. I was carefully connected to monitors and prepared with professionalism and kindness. Everyone was friendly, reassuring, and made sure I felt safe. Dr. Gururaj was outstanding. He was calm, approachable, and confident. He checked on me, reassured me, and helped keep the atmosphere positive. The entire team on February 19 working with him was exceptional. Although I cannot remember every name, I want them to know how much I appreciated their care. Post-procedure, the recovery nurses were attentive and accommodating. They provided clear instructions and ensured I was stable and comfortable before discharge. My friend was kept informed and brought back appropriately. The entire process felt organized, caring, and safe. I truly have nothing negative to say about my experience. Every staff member I encountered was professional, kind, and compassionate. I am healing well and grateful for the care I received. Thank you to Dr. Gururaj and the entire cardiac team for taking such good care of me. I hope the procedure was a success, and I sincerely appreciate everything you did for me. God bless you all.

He was thorough, compassionate, and genuinely focused on getting to the root of what was going on. I never felt rushed or dismissed. He took the time to explain everything and made sure all necessary tests were done. Two weeks prior, I had gone to St. Rose Hospital for the exact same pain and was told it was esophageal spasms without much testing. The pain went away the next day, but when it came back two weeks later, it was a full 10/10. When I explained this to Dr. Leavit, he told me that esophageal spasms are very difficult to definitively diagnose and that he wanted to run a full workup to be sure we weren't missing anything. I am so grateful he did. It turned out to be my gallbladder, and it needed to be removed. I was told it was close to rupturing, and catching it when they did likely prevented a much more serious situation. I was there for several hours before being admitted to Henderson Hospital, and although there was an emergency situation that caused some delays, the team kept me informed every step of the way. An administrative staff member checked on me multiple times to make sure I was okay and kept me updated, which I really appreciated.
