Ruben and his crew just finished putting our new hardwood floors in today and words can't describe how my wife and I feel. The house looks GREAT!!! Pair that with the new base boards he installed and you couldn't tell the house was 70 years old. It feels and looks like a brand new house. Ruben and crew were kind, professional and got the job done in less than a week for a 3 br house. If you're considering refinishing or new hardwood install before committing to a contractor give Ruben an opportunity to give you an estimate. I promise you won't regret it. Thanks again Ruben and crew!!! read more

Ruben and his team were a godsend! After having a horrible experience with a dishonest contractor, Ruben and his guys came in and fixed the disaster. Not only is he honest and extremely reliable, he had a very good price. As other reviews have stated, he explains exactly what will be done and his knowledge and passion for his work comes through. Customer satisfaction is his number one priority. He called the day our floors were finished to make sure I was completely happy. I checked around for several companies including sears who wanted to charge 2400 to install carpet in one square size bedroom. I checked yelp reviews and discovered Interior Flooring Solutions. From the moment I spoke with Ruben he was honest, easy to speak with and an all out good guy. He immediately conducted an estimate and installed carpet 2 days later ( he could have installed the next day but I waited). The carpet looks great. His worker was fast and precise. I will definitely use this companies services again. In fact they will soon install floors in two bathrooms and kitchen. read more

Ruben was recommended by a neighbor and we went with him based on the work he did for them. The hardwood floors were done and came out good. He also included new moldings and transitions in the agreement. Once the hardwood floors and moldings were complete, we had verbally agreed that he would return to complete the transitions at a later date. We were also doing tile in the kitchen and bathroom and had to wait for this work to be complete before the transitions could be properly installed. Once my tile was complete, I called him to come out and complete the transitions. He said he would be out to look at the height of the tile to get the right material. He did not show up on the day he said he would arrive. I called several more times and same outcome. We finally got him to come back out. He brought the transitions but did not bring the table saw needed to cut the transitions because he left it at another jobs site. He said he would be back the next day at 11. He texted me the next day he was running late but said that he would be back for sure in the evening. Ruben NEVER arrived to complete the transitions that were included in the work I paid for. My transitions are still not done several MONTHS later. My advice to others is DO NOT PAY in full until every single detail is 100% done, if not good luck getting him back out to complete the finishing touches. read more

Wow!!!!! Where do I begin. Ruben is hands down the most honest and professional businessman I've ever met!!! If i could give him more than 5 stars I would. He was very knowledgeable and genuine from the first time we spoke on the phone.I showed him pictures of the hardwood flooring damage I had and how much the repair would cost to fix. He quickly gave me his honest opinion and said that it wasn't necessary and it wasnt damaged the way another person had quoted me. I could not believe my ears. There is no one better that I would recommend for any kind of flooring installations, repairs, etc. I am a very happy to have met Ruben to had given me his honest opinion regarding any flooring questions since its so hard to meet anyone truthful nowadays. I could have easily gone somewhere else and had a different estimate. If anyone is looking for a flooring expert look no further, Ruben is your guy. He definitely has my business for any projects in the future. read more

Ruben has the right attitude towards customers (at least, from my experience)! I was not happy with the factory finish on my solid bamboo flooring product (purchased and installed by a different vendor). I decided to get some bids to "buff and recoat" with a clear polyurethane finish. Ruben came out and evaluated my situation and gave me a quote which seemed very good compared to the other quotes I was getting. Since I had already moved into my house, I had to deal with moving all my furniture out and back in for the floor coating. Ruben offered to have his crew do all that, as well. Ultimately, the floors look GREAT! And the crew did a great job of moving the furniture out of the way and placing it back in place afterwards. The crew even did a little touch-up after they moved the furniture back in due to a very slight scuff they noticed (I hadn't noticed it) from moving one of my dressers back in. All in all, I'm very satisfied with Ruben and his crew. Very professional, and quality work! I highly recommend them based on my experience. read more

I picked this company because of all of the positive reviews. They were all right. Ruben and his crew were just great. I am so happy with the work they've done. I had my kitchen floor done after my refrigerator leaked water and ruined the linoleum. I decided to go with a hardwood look after Ruben's suggestion and I love it! I too highly recommend this company! read more

Recently purchased a home and went to Yelp for reviews on carpet installation. Everything I read about Ruben is true. He's just a genuine good guy. He's friendly, professional, on time, I can go on and on. He made such a great first impression that I didn't even bother shopping around for other quotes. I liked the way he came across and also that it's a local family operated company. read more

Ruben and I talked pricing and job specs on the phone. I wanted him to install solid walnut tongue-and-groove flooring that I would provide. I explained that the flooring was used. Many planks were split, cracked or marred. I had about 30% extra wood. Given the nature of the wood, Ruben agreed to a tentative price. Ruben's installer, Marco, was awesome. He had to pick through pieces, cut, smooth, pound and use every trick to lay the used flooring. He created transitions by ripping, cutting and staining to match. He worked long and steady. The result is beautiful. I had checked out other floorers. One floorer looked at the wood and wouldn't touch the job. Only a very experienced floorer could have done it. Ruben had made suggestions about the installation that saved me money. Despite the difficulty of the installation, he stuck to his quoted price, and I was very, very pleased. If you have trouble getting your job scheduled, it's because Ruben and his team are in demand. Thank you, Ruben and Marco. read more

I highly recommend Interior Flooring Solutions!! I live in Riverside and needed to get new floors installed at my parents' home in South Gate, more than an hour away from me. Theirs is a sensitive situation as my Mother is an invalid and my Step Dad is her caregiver. Also, at one time, there were multiple pets in the home which caused extensive damage to the floors over the years. Ruben was above all caring and sensitive to our situation, going above and beyond to accommodate us. In addition to removing the old carpet, he cleaned the floors thoroughly to remove any odors, making sure the floors were meticulously cleaned and odor-free before installing the new luxury vinyl tile floor. Ruben's care and attention allowed me to relax knowing that my parents were in good hands. My Step Dad was also very happy with Ruben and his crew. I intend to have him back to do the kitchen floor too! Interior Flooring Solutions is the 'real deal!!' read more
