Wildlife Garden - All types of pet + memorial pet items.

Wildlife Garden is one of those stores I've driven by 10,000 times. Now that I've finally gone in,…read moreI feel silly I haven't been shopping here sooner. I always assumed it was more of a bird and nature specialty store. Don't get me wrong, they have a plethora of birding and gardening supplies if that's a passion for you, but, ahh, it is so much more than that! Wildlife Garden makes me want to buy a house with a huge yard, just so I can start a garden and decorate it. Some things I loved: + Beautiful little gifts. Of all types. I purchased the most adorable little pieces of art that had a small bird holding a sign that reads, "A little bird told me today will be beautiful." + Pet stuff that isn't tacky, especially the ceramic statues as well as the pet memorial items (which are very hard to find). + Unique garden decor. I adored the awesome solar-powered glass-blown(?) flowers that collect light during the day and light up at night. + Fun cards and they do beautiful, free gift-wrapping. You can do everything all at one time! + Gorgeous windchimes and another artisan decor. Just stop by with nothing in mind, and explore! If you're even remotely into buying people gifts (like me, I love buying my friends and family little presents for no reason), have a garden, or a patio, stop in and look around. You'll undoubtedly find a few things that make you smile at affordable prices.

Excellent, friendly store that offers high quality items. We have been loyal customers for years.read more

There are brands and products that I've seen at other stores but somehow they are arranged in a way that showcase their "purchase-ability". They always seasonally decorate and I enjoy it more than other Christmas displays. The pink tree and sparkling adornments really spark imagination and fuel gift giving ideas. They sell clothes, beauty items, boutique toys, homeware, stationery, candles, jewelry and even desserts up front. As you would expect, everything is quite pricey. Similar to many other reviews, the staff are not the warmest or friendliest people. I've asked a question or two and did not get the most helpful of responses but have experienced open rudeness either. I do look forward to stopping by when I'm in the area and I do think it's a high quality store, albeit quite bougie.

It's a place you need to keep in mind for later when you need a special gift for a special person or event. Staff was so attentive but not over bearing or obnoxious - just around to let me know they could open a case if I needed it.

Wayside Workshop - Christmas 2017

I was very impressed by my first visit to Wayside Workshop. For me, stores specializing in Amish furniture usually fall into one of two categories: (1) affordable, but kitschy, country, and not stylish (think "Grandma's cabin"); or (2) high-end, extremely customizable, and VERY pricey (think "Amish Arhaus+"). Wayside Workshop is that rare gem that strikes the perfect balance between offering the quality and style of bespoke furniture dealers while still being approachable both in price and service. Every piece at Wayside reeks of quality (no particle board here!), and even the biggest pieces (like the awesome expanding dining room table I was digging) aren't eye-poppingly expensive. Finally, this review would be incomplete if I did not mention the space itself. Wayside Worship is located in a huge old barn(?) and is exceptionally beautiful inside. Shoppers can explore multiple (open) floors of furniture and home decor, all of which are tastefully decorated with a keen eye for detail. The space is welcoming and warm as soon as you enter, and I'm sure it's absolutely magical at Christmastime. I'm excited to make a second visit then (with my wife - pray for me).

I want to buy EVERYTHING but my wallet has only allowed me to purchase an unfinished bookshelf thus far. They have furniture, accent decor, paint, candles and lighting, festive decor, the list just goes on. You could spend an hour in this little workshop and still not have seen everything they have to offer. For lack of a better pun, this place knows how to "set up shop"! Go see the nice folks at Wayside. They are very helpful and they know their stuff!
