I'm usually a customer of Dillard's for something small or in passing. It's never my destination. During my latest visit it was actually my destination for shoes. I needed sparkly sneakers for a Sneakerball, and Dillard's had the perfect pair! AMBIANCE: This store is tucked away in Beachwood Mall. The lighting in the store and the fashions make it feel like Saks or Nordstrom, not Dillard's. Meaning it's a lot more ritzy. It has pockets of high end brands, and the entire store presents very well. INVENTORY: Dillard's recently really started keeping up with the times. Compared to its competition, it's really fashion-forward. Around the holidays, I noticed that there are a lot of very trendy dresses in relevant colors and gorgeous fabrics. They are also very well styled with faux furs hugging the shoulders or sparkly boleros. There are also exciting party shoes - sparkly, with bows, and all the shimmer! You can really envision and build the entire outfit. I was really impressed with this recent shift of modernization. I even asked myself - Am I really at Dillard's? SERVICE: The service was truly five star. I was in a hurry (story of my life) and needed to quickly located the shoe department. I asked an employee at another department who provided me with very detailed directions. She was super friendly. Staff was pleasant as I made my way through the department store, smiling and nodding. My interactions at the shoe department were similarly warm. The sales associate told me she'll be right with me, immediately found the shoes I wanted, and was extremely friendly. I observed her interactions with other customers and she was providing very personalized service. It was probably among the best customer service interactions at department stores. Seriously great service. She was also as excited as I was about my sparkly sneakers with holiday lights purchased from Betsey Johnson collection. I will say that these sneakers were pricier here than at other retailers. I paid over $100. So many people complimented me on these shoes that it feels like I got my money's worth. I would recommend a visit to this store. The setup makes it feel luxe, the service is extremely cordial, and you experience can be flawless from start to finish. Honestly, couldn't find any fault in my whole time here. I plan to return shortly to look for New Year Eve dress. I'll have to first figure out what to do for NYE. Do I need Dillard's faux furs and bow bedazzled shoes? Or something more subtle?

Target now sells Krispy Kreme donuts!…read more This Target is currently undergoing a renovation (May 2025). There are multiple challenges inside and outside. Few aisles inside are obstructed (by the cleaning supplies) and are being improved. The bathrooms inside are not fully functional. Family restrooms inside are open. There are several portable toilets outside. Starbucks is mostly out of order - no ice, and no food. Several areas of the store are covered in tarp. Just be aware of not the full Target experience as you're used to it. The store is still pretty well stocked. There are a lot of new fashions for women - cute summer dresses and pants. Swimsuits and beach attire is already out. You can also find a new Pride line. I was surprised to find last year's fashions in store. There was a dress on a rack that I bought last year, and a few other pieces. I was very happy with all the clothing sales. I purchased a very vibrant "Brasil" summer shirt for $7.50! If you're looking for summer tees, check this Target. I also purchased "Papaya" sweater for $28, and a few household necessities. Also of note, Target now carries Krispy Kreme donuts in boxes! I didn't know that's an option but it apparently is. Even in the late afternoon there were a lot of donuts left! Service at the store is pretty attentive. I was able to get quick help when I couldn't find contact lens solution. All the employees I encountered were very pleasant. Overall, if you can overlook the construction, it's not a bad shopping experience. There's large inventory here and better than average customer service.

INVENTORY: Apparel, accessories, designer purses, and lots of shoes! You won't find home goods or decor here. You will find way beyond the online shop inventory. You can easily build a fashionable outfit here for you next night on the town - Hingetown and beyond! I was most drawn to the furs and lingerie-type dresses at this shop. The employee told me that they had run out of lamps so there weren't any for sale. He pointed at the area where the lamps normally would be located. He probably could have explained better when more lamps may return but at that point, it didn't matter because I needed to buy a lamp that day. Besides not finding a lamp, this store; however, is clean and ideal for those looking for reasonably priced furniture. I remember living in Columbus (Ohio) and actually purchasing a LoveSeat from Big Lots after someone had told me that they sell furniture. It was a beautiful (gray) and quality style loveseat which I had to sell when I moved to Cleveland in August of this year. So you can find a great couch/sofa here. Overall, the customer service at the furniture section could have been better here but I still ended up leaving with some great bakery items (organic Coconut Flour and Organic Cocount Sugar) and other snacks.

I witnessed some inefficiencies which discouraged me from purchasing additional furniture. It was challenging to find someone at the store to ask how to initiate furniture purchase as the first timer. I almost gave up. I had to then wheel my chair through the entire store. I wonder what happens with heavier furniture. After filling out some paperwork, I was able to store my chair in store. I asked how delivery of other furniture works and ballpark price. I was told that I need to get in touch with delivery company via app or phone to plan after purchase. That's wonderful that delivery partner exists, but that discouraged me from buying two other items. It seems reasonable to provide customers with more details surrounding furniture delivery partner and expectations (delivery distance, turnaround time, and process). At pickup, I called the store to check how to pickup furniture. It wasn't really explained during payment. The store's employee transferred me from TJ Maxx to HomeGoods like they're worlds away. The entire process started to finish was not the smoothest. I really felt like employees didn't have any interest in answering any furniture questions and wanted to detach from the experience. While I love the value at HomeGoods, I won't be getting more furniture that I can't transport simply because I don't understand the process after asking multiple associates. It shouldn't be this difficult.

CS Folk (formerly BB Folk) calls itself a general store. General store means that you'll find all kinds of goodies here - home decor, trendy clothing, food items, and accessories. The store is in the stretch of Ohio City that's known for its vintage and thrift stores. Go to this store especially when you want unique gifts. INVENTORY: The store's inventory includes lots of cool clothing merchandise from local makers. For instance, I found a very fitting "witchy woman" hat at this store. Other merchandise that always gets me excited see home decor and wall art. There is an expansive shelf with refined decor. Prices are pretty reasonable considering the uniqueness. While I was there though, I plotted out all the future scents and products I was going to need for fall and winter. Their new automatic soap dispensers are so cute! Definitely going to pick a couple up for our office bathroom, the ladies will love them! It's dangerous going in there with all their deals but I was able to limit myself to just that one handsoap. It is still painful to pay $6.50 plus tax for hand soap but the smell is just amazing!
