I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable their quote was and how quickly they were able to schedule my pickup. The team arrived right on time during the designated window, and the two gentlemen who came were professional, courteous, and efficient. My rug was returned the following week by a different team member who was just as professional as the ones who picked it up. I couldn't have been happier with the results. My two main hopes were that the matted areas would be re-fluffed and that the rug would return to its original cream color. When I unrolled it, it looked fantastic--fresh, clean, and beautifully restored. I'm so glad they were able to breathe new life into it and extend its lifespan. I will absolutely use Arslanian Brothers again!

I spoke with the technician about the fact my dog had urinated on the carpet, but I had cleaned it fairly well with vinegar & Baking soda, we agreed the 'special' urine treatment was not necessary. After he left; I kept the bedroom door closed to ensure the dog could not get in there, the urine smell got worst & now it was coupled with this offensive chemical smell. Now I'm thinking I did need the 'special' urine treatment, I rescheduled another appointment. After the second cleaning including the "special urine treatment" the smell was so offensive it gave me headaches & I could not be in the room. So much so I had to seal off the room & open a window so I could work in my office (which adjoins the bedroom). I called to complain & was told the owner would reach out to me - it has been 24 hours & only crickets. I canceled my check & hire Stanley Steamer - I am hoping I will be able to sleep in my bedroom tonight. My take away is these people know their 'dry clean' process does NOT work, stinks, & quite honestly I suspect is toxic. Save yourself the aggravation, hire ANYONE else!

And when it comes to bees, I don't mind them that much, but luckily, there weren't any bees in Hamed Oriental Rugs. Let me just say this about the decor: hated it! The building was absolutely crawling with carpet! I think that when it comes to decorating, rugs can be a good thing, but one at a time and not hundreds of them piled on top of each other. Someone must have thought, "I have all of these rugs, but nowhere to put them," so they were stacked on top of each other like someone went, "Ta Daa!" when they were finished. Being new to the area, I wanted to get a feel for the decorations of the locals and I must say, I don't like what I've seen so far. As for the customer service, I was incredibly disappointed to find that we would not be receiving fortune cookies after making a purchase. Also, the lack of a small 70-something Chinese woman who knows roughly a dozen phrases in English (8 of which involve rug vocabulary) took away from the Oriental vibe of the place. I'm a visual person, so it needs to look like I'm in the Orient to buy an Oriental piece. My husband Winslow was able to start an argument with the people at Dimitroff's by repeatedly yelling things like, "Dimitroff's sucks!" and "Hamed kicks your a** at rugs!" at their building until an employee responded to our challenge with, "We're calling the police if you don't stop!" -1 point from Dimitroff's for un-friendly staff Another reason I got rid of a point was because of it's danger to small children. A couple days later, installer calls to come out and give us an estimate. Scheduled - a lady shows up, doesn't introduce herself, she says - can I use your bathroom, I need to wash my hands. Well there's a sink right there but... 10 minutes later, she comes out of the bathroom, goes to where we need the floor installed, rushes through it and is out the door without so much as a goodbye. Then we smell it... the bathroom was destroyed. There was literal crap everywhere - on the toilet seat, on the towels, on a washcloth, on the rug, maybe even on the cat, who knows... we're still finding it. When I called to tell LL Flooring about it in North Canton, they laughed, and laughed, and laughed... I'm so glad they found it funny. Then they said, they would look into it and have someone call us back. They never called us back. So, two days later - I canceled the install and did it myself. After searching online for area furniture stores, Sedlak's caught my eye and I decided to pay them a visit at their Solon location. The store is inconspicuous from the street and more closely resembles a hotel or country club from the outside. Upon walking in I was greeted by a kind lady at a desk and she directed me down a hall to the back of the store. This place is absolutely massive! There are numerous sections, each of which specializes in different home furnishings. The variety is extensive and offers a vast assortment of items. I found the section that has televison stands and after roughly 15 minutes decided on an attractive wood and glass stand with cabinets. I found a sales clerk who was more than helpful and collected my information. She then advised that the stand would be delivered in one piece, which would spare me the time of having to assemble it. She advised that the delivery would be carried out within a week and guided me to the front to submit payment. One I submitted payment, a delivery date was agreed upon for the following Monday (4 days) and I left. Sedlak's contacted me the day prior to the scheduled delivery to confirm. On the day of the delivery, two Sedlak's professionals contacted me upon arrival and I let them in. They carefully setup the stand and were even kind enough to place the television on it. The stand is of inpeccable quality and the customer service was top tier! I am happy with my purchase and would definitely buy from them again!

I'm sure their buyers know their customer's tastes, but their customer base has to be dying off or aging to a point where they have little need for new furniture. I've always known exactly what I wanted, having an interior design background myselfl, and been able to make decisions easily. However, it was the purchase of my family room furniture that had me baffeled for the first time. I just couldn't narrow my ideas and decide on the right style and layout. With the help of designer Becky Harrell, my furniture was delivered this week and I am thrilled. Becky worked with me over a year and a half. She was gracious to quote multiple pieces, let me check out umteen samples of fabric and finishes, and never made me feel as undesisive as I knew I was being. She knew I wanted quality and I wanted a great price and so steared me to take advantage of the Chez Del fall upholstery sale. Becky came to the house and measured the room to put it into their design software and show me exactly how the furniture would sit in the room. We thought through all the fabrics and finishes and ultimately decided on a look that fit me, my family and our personality. With tons of family showing up for Christmas, the Chez Del team kept a last minute delivery slot open for me, followed up with manufacturers, and made sure we had furniture for our company. The delivery guys (Keith and Joe) are top notch. I'm a little picky and they took extreme care to cover my floors and carefully placed the furniture; often making slight adjustments to my liking. At installation, Becky informed me that the manufacturer of my sofas had left off a decorative feature I had ordered. Chez Del hired their furniture upholstery person to add the decorative features and handled the issue before I even knew about it. It was done perfectly and without my having to stress about it. That is excellent customer service! Bottom line, the furniture business is a tough one these days as manufacturing has changed a great deal. It's not unusual for the retailer to have to answer to quality issues, delays in shipping expectations, and a whole array of customer satisfaction issues. And, retailers are doing all this at lower margins and more online competetors than ever. Chez Del, their personal touch and expertise, is a gem in this fast changing marketplace.
