I'm going broke shopping for college. Nice stuff here!
GiGi W.

I love this place. Thank goodness we finally have a store out here that sells very fashionable housewares at a great price. I could decorate my entire house from this store. Exterior/Location: In a shopping plaza on Rt 43 in Aurora, Ohio Interior: LOADED with housewares. Tons of unique items. Dishes, crystal, decorator items, rugs, and even furniture. Vibe/Ambiance: most of the clientele was female and they were looking for that special something for their home. I could spend a lot of time at this place. The decor possibilities are endless. Staff: A nice group of hard working women. Helpful and pleasant. Clientele: The clientele could be anyone. This particular visit was for college shopping. There were a lot of moms with their college aged children. Anyone looking to decorate or spruce up their living space is shopping here. Price: There are some fabulous deals at Home Goods. I got a set of $700 Italian fancy sheets (retail) for $100. You could find fabulous prices on everything. Must get items: I may walk into this store looking for something specific, but I never get out of this store without a candle. They have a wonderful candle selection. Perfect for gifts. Why I love or hate it: Nothing to hate here. I love this place. Final thoughts: They get all kinds of stuff, art, rugs, giant mirrors, faux planters... The same brands as Neiman Marcus, and high end stores for way less. I would encourage everyone to stop in.

The best crystal selection I have seen in quite some time

I worked with Kitchen and Bath Etc. to design and implement a kitchen remodel. I worked with…read moredesigner Tara Wenger from initial discussion through completion. Tara has an open and collaborative approach while adding her experience and design knowledge which resulted in a kitchen I could not have imagined on my own but reflects me. Details of the design and layout were greatly paid attention to. The kitchen has great flow and function as well as beauty. I was given ideas and resources but was allowed time and freedom to look for backsplash tile and lighting that was not in their showroom which enabled me to make the kitchen mine and unique. I do wish as much detail was paid to execution. Craftsmanship was stellar. However, I was the one paying attention to details on some work such as clean up, scratches to be repaired or alignment of drawers/doors. These were always taken care of urgently after I brought them to K&B's attention but I would rather they consistently checked work along the way. I also feel they could have been more consistent on cleanliness of site. My space was fairly open to other rooms but there are walls. Some of the the tradesman hung plastic and cleaned up after their work, others sanded without any barrier nor fans leaving me far more to clean up than expected nor necessary. Every single person who entered the home was respectful and pleasant. I trusted them to be in the home while I was not. I definitely recommend Kitchen & Bath Etc. and Tara. I definitely recommend working with K&B.

I would recommend them for any home remodel as our bathroom was a very large and complicated job.

Our kitchen went from the 90's grapevines to updated and beautiful with Jim leading the way. Christine and Jenny in the office were so patient and helpful in choosing just the right colors and materials for our kitchen. And Robert is absolutely outstanding in his woodwork! We had unused space in our kitchen and desperately needed more storage. The team helped us figure out where to add a pantry in our kitchen and we even added a dry bar! Thank you for helping us update our home and add that extra space we needed for storage. There isn't anything I would do differently.

We had Cerha Kitchen & Bath completely gut and renovate our master bathroom. If you are looking for…read morethe cliff notes version of this review: Overall the project did not meet our satisfaction as all the detail work at the end was sloppy, and unprofessional, and many corners were cut. We had other projects quoted that we hoped to use this team for again, but after the bathroom project, we will not hire them again. We expected a much higher quality work from a group of contractors that spend their days on Kitchens and Bathrooms. Here are some of the issues that we have with our completed project: - Cracked Caulk: Much of the caulk has already been cracked since the project completion (6 months ago). They didn't even take the time to make sure the surface they were caulking was clean before executing. This includes around the granite counter top. There are a whole bunch of particles in the caulk. - Grout in shower: The color of the grout is inconsistent, the application is un-even and starting to crack. Especially lower in the shower there are more inconsistencies. - Shower Floor: The tile on the floor of the shower is rippled causing water to pool around the corners of the shower pan. Additionally the same issues with the grout are present (color, thickness, etc.). The drain on the shower floor was also left without caulk to finish the edges where the tile had been cut. - Paint: The paint job in the bathroom is horrible. They didn't take the time to fully apply an even coat of paint throughout the bathroom. There are areas that you can see the old paint color through. There are drip marks on walls, and in the corners of the walls and ceiling, they didn't even attempt to make it look good. - Tile Floor: Again the tile on the floor of the bathroom is uneven and we even had to have them pull one and re-do because it was left loose. The grout is also poorly done. The entire bathroom floor is also 3/4 inch higher than the adjacent room because they didn't want to pull the old mortar board. - Plumbing: One of the bathroom sinks leaked on first day of the project completion and we had to have them come back twice to repair. That same sink to this day has a frequent sewage smell. Also when we flush the toilet in the bathroom (or even in the bathroom on a floor below), we get hear a gurgle in the new tub in the master bath. Additionally, we had our plumbers come out for a routine inspection and they looked at the new bathroom. They expressed concerns with the installation of both sink faucets (gaskets were exposed from over tightening, drain pipe was lose under bathroom sink). Additionally, the bathtub would not heat up. My husband had to take apart the faucet and adjust the mixing valve which wasn't a huge deal but they clearly didn't check their work. - Front Door: During the project work, our brand new storm door was damaged which we immediately brought to their attention and asked them to fix. It took several months for them to finally get a replacement door which was fine, but when they finally came to install the new door, they installed a defective door. The handle fell off the first time we opened it and the window didn't open. My husband ended up having to reinstall the original door that was damaged during their work as what they provided was in a worse condition. Lastly I have to comment on the lack of professionalism. After completing the "final walk-though" of the bathroom and giving our final payment, we started to clean and move our personal belongings back into the room. It was at that time that we noticed a leak under one of the bathroom sinks. We immediately called Cerha to let them know and asked them to come take care of it immediately (after the price we paid for the project, this was completely unacceptable). The response we received was that the lead contractor had already gone home for the day, so we would need to wait until the following day for it to be resolved. We pushed back on this and told them it needed to be addressed the same day. After escalating through the company owner, we were able to get the contractor back to our house to fix the issue, but he proceeded to lecture me as if I was a child because "this wasn't a pressing issue." After having just paid them for the completion of this project, it was completely uncalled for to be talked to in this regard as the customer. Had I not been a female, this situation would have been handled differently I'm sure. It even took them two attempts over two different days to get the leak resolved. After this final interaction with Cerha, it was clear that we did not want to do business with them again.

Once they installed and left, I started to look closely at the counters and noticed what looked to me like a large scratch. I immediately called them, and I mean immediately. They had been gone perhaps 10 minutes. I was yelled at over the phone that I didn't know what I was talking about...that those are natural fissures. I was also told I didn't understand that this thing came out of the side of a mountain and it would have natural inconsistencies. Well to me it didn't look like a natural occurrence...but they never addressed it with me. Extremely dismissive when I called, and nobody ever came to look at it even though they promised they would. Sight unseen they called it a fissure. Does it look like a fissure? I don't know...to ME it looks like a long scratch. But nobody ever came to inspect it. I'm actually writing this review now as I have had plenty of time to cool off and write with honestly and not let my anger fully invade my writing. Feel like I was treated very unprofessionally. What company argues with a client over the phone like that? Very rude.
