I cannot recommend the services of Helpful Home Staging high enough- 5,000 stars is not an option…read more To begin with I was unsure if the expense of a stager was needed and considered showing my home empty. A few of my friends had used a stager and convinced me of how impactful it can be during the selling process. After about an hour on installation day I became completely convinced of how important this service can be for potential buyers! It truly made my home more appealing than at any point while I was living in the house. The rooms were appropriately furnished, seamlessly flowed between areas and made the whole house feel inviting- I actually considered buying the furniture and keeping the house! Lisa and the team at Helpful Home Staging were absolute professionals and made the whole process simple from setup to move out. The designer (Karen) thoughtfully and tastefully furnished the house after just a short visit. My home was just a simple middle of the road bungalow and she nailed the prefect balance by matching the staging with the eventual price point for the home. The crew worked incredibly efficiently while also being extremely respectful of my property by leaving the home cleaner than they found it. The owner (Lisa) was immediately responsive throughout the entire process and even offered tips based on her experience to make the house even more appealing outside of the staging (paint colors, curtains, etc.). However the most convincing proof of Helpful's work is the immediate and overwhelming response after listing- I had to cut off the showings after the first day, had a list of offers by the second day and was in contract by the third. Granted it is a strong market but the fact that other agents took all of her business cards from the counter leads me to believe that the staging was a critical element of the sale. Again, I cannot recommend Lisa and the team at Helpful Home Staging high enough.

This was a significant, complex project and they delivered a result that is truly our dream come true -- and due to changes in my schedule, they adjusted to accommodate and finish an entire month ahead of schedule. Donna was an absolute force as our project manager. Her attention to detail was exceptional -- nothing escaped her eye. She kept the project moving, stayed ahead of every milestone, addressed our every need before we ask, and consistently went above and beyond what we could have expected. She is professional and exceptional in all details of the project, making sure options were presented and detailed correctly. Aretha, our designer, listened and understood our vision. She assisted with our selection process which then made the vision come to life in ways that exceeded our imagination. And Tony -- as the owner of the company, remained personally involved throughout the entire process. That level of commitment from the top says everything about the culture and character of the Perrino organization. Beyond their professionalism, these are just wonderful people -- warm, trustworthy, and genuinely invested in their clients. And the craftsmanship? Among the finest we have ever seen -- their tradesmen are simply superior in skill and execution, and it shows in every detail of the finished product. Every accolade we could offer still falls short of the full picture of how remarkable Perrino Custom Builders was in every stage of the remodel. Whether your project is large or small, do not hesitate to reach out -- you will be absolutely blown away by what they deliver.

We contacted Perrino in 2021 about reworking our detached garage space. It required a $2500…read moreretainer that would be put towards the build of the project. We went back and forth several times (as seen in attached emails) that the drawing measurements were not correct and our contact there agreed. While still not having correct dimensions, we were quoted $123,00+. We decided to pause to save money and work to getting the correct measurements. I contacted them in September to see if we can finalize the plans and move forward. Knowing pricing would have changed but we have saved to do this job. As you can see in the emails, we were offered a few options to move forward; one of which is paying another $2500 to the same company which didn't make sense to us. We asked to speak to an owner and Pat did reach out immediately. He clearly doesn't know the job or the situation as he said in asking to move house walls and we need new plans. I said it was detached and we never had correct plans drawn. He said they supplied plans and it's not his fault I'm unhappy and that picky. When I said we are just off by a few feet with this building he offered to come out. He asked for our address and then said we are far out and they are very busy so he wasn't sure he would continue with us as a client. I said you took our retainer and now you won't work with us? He said he would come out and see and I asked if I needed our lawyer present since he is refusing to work with us. He told me he will not come if a lawyer is present and I said ok, just us and he hung up. I sent an email recap and he finally emailed my husband. After $2500,we don't have plans for a garage after several basic attempts and a company that took our money no problem.

Absolutely no problems in getting them to come over and address any issues or concerns. Very happy with all the work that was completed and would not hesitate to hire again. Only gripe I would have is how they handled the referrals we passed along to them. One project they closed on and completed a kitchen remodel. We never received a "thanks" or acknowledgment of the added business we provided them. We also passed them onto another friend to provide a quote and they ended up being ghosted. Really odd.
