After my dentist retired, we had a little global pandemic, and then things got busy and ... in 2026 I brought them a mouth some California dentists wouldn't touch without hundreds of dollars in X-ray and lab fees up front. Then wouldn't touch. ​ In two days of care, they replaced a complex crown, did four quadrants of deep cleaning, and filled an embarrassing number of cavities. I paid about two and a half Gs for what I was quoted elsewhere for between $6K and $10K. This is dental work under local anesthesia, so some pain from numbing is expected. They have a deal with a chain hotel in easy walking distance that has an included breakfast with soft foods and a UV water dispenser on every floor. From my initial contact on WhatsApp, to their offer to Uber me to the office, to patient intake and detailed assessment including head CTs (!), 3D modeling (!!!), photography of teeth and individual tooth x-rays, and the competence of the clinical team... I don't believe this level of dental care is available in Estados Unidos. If I have a friend who needs dental care, I will cheerfully refer them here. Note: WhatsApp and Uber are essential tools in Tijuana.​

He was able to do the surgery and remove both teeth with the speed I comfort I never experience before. It was just "top, top and pull" and the tooth was gone. Wow, it was amazing and Dr. Miner is amazing and absolutely the best! Today, I'm still doing great, no pain and no bleeding! I think Dr. Miner is the best oral surgeon in the San Diego area. I was looking through my insurance website trying to find another periodontist to get a second opinion and saw ADC listed in Tijuana. Knowing that my insurance company would not have a shady outfit approved on their network, I contacted ADC and made an appointment. I have had fillings and minor dental work done in Mexico over the years, but was nervous about having actual surgery down there. I shouldn't have worried - the facilities at ADC were cleaner and more modern than any dentist in the USA. All the instruments came right out of sterile autoclave packets and the imaging equipment was state of the art. There is a paid parking lot next door. Dr. Ahumada was a joy to work with - very knowledgeable and professional. The surgery sucked, but she made it as comfortable as she could. The receptionist speaks good English. My out of pocket expenses, including a trip to the pharmacy was under $700. ADC saved me $500 and Dr. Ahumada could not be beat. Very highly recommended.

I had to have an extraction, bone grafting, bone augmentation, gum grafting, and then 2 dental implants. It ended up being 4 procedures, and they all were easy, comfortable, and for the first time in my life, I was relaxed in a dental chair! I went there because I almost fell on the floor when the oral surgeon my regular dentist referred me to told me what "my portion" of the bill would be after insurance and We have good insurance. One of my clients had shortly before reccomended Adame to me. He had gone there for years for all his dental work. He was a salty old sea dog who would not put up with anything from nobody so his word ranked high with me. I was amazed with how much less expensive it was. The implant in 2013 cost me $1,650 before a refund from my insurance of $575. "My" portion at the US Oral Surgeon would have been $4,000. Hello! You just provide them with the forms from your insurance company and they will fill them in and then you submit it yourself. Every time I go, the small waiting room is filled. Largely by Americans. That should tell you something. They are also only 4 blocks from the border so you can park on this side and walk over which I reccomend. There is only street parking where they are located and it isn't plentiful.
