We stayed here 4 days/3 nights last weekend while in town for a concert. Great location within walking distance to most shopping and dining in downtown Indy. This is a beautiful hotel with unique design and art, the rooms are spacious with comfy beds and pillows, free hydration stations with water and ice, and the elevator system runs smoothly never a long wait. The entire staff here were very attentive and accommodating. Thank you all for an amazing stay: valet team, bellman (Carlos), front desk, rooftop bartender's (Aaron), breakfast staff and room service! We are looking forward to our next stay!

Walking into the lobby of the Intercontinental Hotel is like stepping back in time. This gorgeous hotel just celebrated its centennial anniversary. Located just outside the Circle in the heart of downtown Indy you will find this antiquated yet polished gem. I had no idea it was there until I attended a holiday party recently. The first impression was great. The signage for the elevators appears to be in their original state which is really cool to see. I loved watching them light up. Everything is in pristine condition. The food is exceptional. I had a steak which was one of the best I've had in quite some time. The service was excellent. Staff were particularly friendly and helpful. The bar is beautiful and the view of Monument Circle is stunning at night. I would definitely recommend going here for a drink, dinner and overnight stay especially to out of town guests. If you're a local and looking for a luxurious staycation with an appreciation for Art Deco and city life--this is the place!

We travel often, both domestically and internationally, and I can confidently say that our experience at the InterContinental Hotel in Indianapolis ranks among the finest we've ever had. This was a special trip for our family--our daughter's very first hotel stay--and we wanted everything to be perfect. From the moment we arrived, the staff exceeded our expectations. We were warmly welcomed by Aleah at the front desk, whose kindness, attention to detail, and professionalism set the tone for the rest of our visit. She made sure we had the best accommodations the hotel could offer, and her thoughtful service did not go unnoticed. The restaurant at the InterContinental is simply exquisite. We maintain a strict diet, which can often be a challenge while traveling. However, Iggy and his exceptional team went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Their attentiveness to timing and dietary requirements ensured every meal was not only delicious, but also aligned with our standards--truly a rare find. The room design is in the top 5% of what we've experienced globally. We've stayed at hotels in Italy, France, Spain, the UK, and parts of Asia, and the décor and layout at the InterContinental Indianapolis easily holds its own against the world's best. We are especially grateful to have found this gem as we celebrated our family member's graduation from Purdue University's #1-ranked Flight School. What a perfect way to mark such a milestone. Thank you to the entire IHG staff for an unforgettable stay. We will absolutely be back! What an amazing hotel, seriously. This might be one of the best InterContinentals I have ever stayed in. This hotel is inside a beautifully renovated historic building, and everything about our stay was top-notch from start to finish. Before we even arrived, my parents and I received a welcome email from the concierge personally greeting us and offering help with anything we might need -- such a thoughtful touch. Honestly, every InterContinental should do this. The rooms are beyond spacious -- holy cow -- and super modern, spotless, and comfortable. We were even greeted with welcome snacks like mixed nuts, which was such a nice surprise. The location can't be beat, right in the heart of downtown, and the staff were friendly and professional throughout our stay. The fitness centre is beautiful and well-equipped. Honestly, what else do I need to say? A perfect stay overall. (Only minor complaint: the elevators could be a bit bigger.)

Beautiful & yummy dessert sent by Russell & Lovely Mae, from the front office, as a gift to celebrate of anniversary!

My husband and I decided on a little getaway close to home to celebrate our 30th Anniversary. We were so impressed with Intercontinental and the staff!!! The hotel is stunning & so classy! When we checked in, Russell & Lovely Mae were so welcoming and excited that we were there to celebrate 30 years of marriage. Shortly after we arrived in our room there was a knock on the door. Russell and Lovely Mae had sent up a beautiful dessert and waters as a gift and included such sweet cards too!! Russell also treated us to a hot breakfast the next morning, which was delicious! We were very impressed with everything this hotel offered, the cleanliness was excellent, and everyone working there from the Valet gentleman, front office, restaurants, and bars in this hotel were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They made us feel like we were the most important guests there and we were so appreciative! It just added that much more joy to our celebration!

Judith was absolutely incredible. we also had an amazing server. this place goes above and beyond and we absolutely loved every second of it. and absolutely must for a stop!

I was told to go around the corner to the public parking garage and take the elevator down to ground level and walk back... to be honest downtown is super sketchy on a Friday night after midnight. Lots of homeless people on the streets and party mode from ... locals? When the elevator opened, we were horrified to see a mostly undressed, homeless man laying on the ground outside the elevator, and then had to exit through a super dark and deserted alley. Bottom line I do not feel like this was a safe option for a traveling mom and teenage son. I communicated to the front desk and hopefully to Management that they should offer the public parking garage rate of $45 instead of the valet rate of $90 for the safety of their guests after 11 PM. The lobby is gorgeous at this hotel, unfortunately the rooms do not even come close. As a Hilton diamond member we were given a very small room with two double beds that was clearly updated last around the year 2000. It had a great view of the alley that we had just exited through. And as others have mentioned, the room credit for food was laughable... The only two options were to order room service, which I did within the $50 limit I was allotted and yet with all the add-ons my bill came to over $74. Or I could have used it in the coffee shop that had no real breakfast options. Bottom line, with the issues that I experienced this hotel was definitely not worth the nightly rate. Unfortunately, I would not recommend.

I identified Home2 Suites by Hilton Indianapolis Downtown to stay during my weekend in Indianapolis…read morebecause of its distance from my relative, and it being near Monument Circle and the World War Memorial. Other than that, I loved that it is a Hilton hotel, and the fact that it was lower in cost by a lot once I utilized my Expedia OneKeyCash rewards. I must mention parking because it was one thing that made me selective of hotel stay in the area. At Home2 Suites, valet parking is listed at $45.00, but if you want to take a chance there are parking garages in the surrounding area which cost around the same price. I parked at the garage located within Regions Tower and paid only $50.00 overnight. And there is metered parking in the area, if you are lucky to find a spot. My experience with the receptionist working behind the counter was nothing less than professional. Since my room had already been booked through Expedia, the only thing check-in consisted of was a verification of my information, a briefing of what the hotel offers, and giving me my room key. For your information check-in starts at 3:00 PM and ends at 12:00 AM! And check-out ends at 11:00 AM! Home2 Suites, as expected, appeared immaculately beautiful! After locating and entering the room I stayed in, I said to myself "Lovely" once I took notice of the room and its kitchenet area. It came with a refrigerator, dishwasher, a sink with garbage disposal, plus cabinets with dishware and pots & pans inside. Now the furniture in the room gave the room somewhat of a homely like feel. The couch, and the carpet on the room looked like something you would see in your grandmother's house I swear, tehehe. The workspace in the room had a rollable table along with a rollable chair. And inside of the bathroom, there were liquid hygiene products inside of the shower attached to the wall. Seems like hotels are slowly doing away with the mini shampoo, bath soap, and conditioner products that make great travel hygiene additions. Along with those notable things inside of the room, it met my cleanliness standards. I had no issues whatsoever getting comfortable in the king-sized bed during my stay as my head was engulfed in-between the comfortable pillows. While utilizing the shower, I was satisfied with the water pressure of it, as well as being able to toggle with the spray patterns. Other things the room came with that I noticed were an iron, ironing board, an extra comforter, and a few lamps with electrical outlets. And the Wi-Fi internet was easy to connect to and not once did I have any connectivity issues with it during my stay. Served from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM on weekdays, and from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM on the weekend; it was a relief to have the complimentary breakfast because I did not have to worry about finding a restaurant in the area. Using a waffle maker for the first time ever was a fun experience I must say. Overall, I was very satisfied with the quality of what was presented for the complimentary breakfast. I would surely book with Home2 Suites by Hilton Indianapolis Downtown again due to my experience with it because the hotel met my comfort needs, and I loved that its location is within an accessible distance of things of my interest in the city of Indianapolis. ~ Good vibes coming your way ~ Thomas G

When we got into the room. The staff was super accommodating and made sure that we removed a few doors down to a room that was smoke-free. Room was a good quality. Double beds. Shower okay, no bathtub. Refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker. The only downside about the coffee maker was that the universal coffee and plastic attachments did not go with the machine. It should have been a closed environment, but it was not. Once you inserted the plastic coffee filter and place the coffee filter pod into the maker, there was a gap, which led to splashing of the hot water onto the coffee filter pod that led to coffee Bean all over the desk. Breakfast every morning. Waffles, either scrambled eggs or pre-cooked omelette, pork sausage, chicken sausage. Golden potatoes, yogurt, fruit, various breads, oatmeal, cereal, coffee, tea, hot chocolate. Pretty good size dining room as well. On the second floor. Second floor was also where the fitness center was. The floors were labeled with having vending machines on floors 4 and 7:00, but I could not find any. There was a snack area on the first floor where you could purchase snacks by scanning with self-checkout. Refrigerated items, frozen items, candy, chips, etc. The only thing the room really needed was a deep clean. Crevices and corners could have used some extra care and love. Outside of that, no complaints. Security key required to get into the hotel, as well as up the elevator.

Nothing crazy but we were able to leave our suitcases open on the floor so that's a plus. Our room was clean and cleaned the one day we were there (2 nights). Bed was comfy no issues with that. The pillows were flat to the point that they must be fucking with me. I mean the minute you put a human head or anything with any weight on it, the shit would collapse to nothing. Does anyone like this? I had to literally fold my pillow in half to get any lift for my head. Please get new pillows. The towels were plentiful but a little rough. There was no blood or bodily fluids that I was able to detect. The shower pressure was FANTASTIC. The sink pressure however was not good and who knows if the tooth paste actually fully rinsed from the brush. The temperature was also all fucked up and had no clear relation to the position of the handle. One moment the same position would be scalding and the next, ice cold. I would like to be clear that this was for the sink faucet only. I did not hear the noise the other reviewers complain about despite facing the gainbridge fieldhouse. Not perfect. That is poor customer service. Let me be clear. They were not busy. I woke up at nine a m with a paper under my door. I received a charge of $585!!!!! Now let me just tell you, i went in my room and went right to sleep, because I was exhausted for my day of travel. This letter told me that I had been smoking in the room and charged me this amount. I immediately called down a customer service and was told that they would take it off when the manager came in at eleven o'clock. After checking in, I received a text asking how everything was going, and during my stay I was able to send follow-up texts if I had questions or needed anything. In addition, I was able to borrow/sign out an umbrella one day when it was raining - there's a $25 fee if you don't return it that day, but it's a very nice service they offer. I realized I forgot a shower cap one day, too, and the front desk was able to provide me with one. Pros: -Huge and unique rooms. Huge kitchen with full-size fridge and freezer, plus flatware and even cooking utensils. -Large bathroom area, although no bathtub, just a shower. -Free breakfast daily, and they even had almond milk and oat milk for cereal - I have to drink non-dairy milk exclusively and hotels rarely have it available. -Free cookies at front desk -The staff was super friendly, when I returned every day from the conference I was welcomed back Cons: -Very few from me, but: no safe in the room -Towels are small but that's normal for most hotels nowadays -Wifi was a little wonky - on my computer and work iPhone it was fine, and also fast, but on my Android/personal phone, texts were delayed.
