Hotels are hard to rate, as people either love them or hate them. To make it easier, I am going to do a PRO/CON list. PRO: +This hotel was recently renovated in 2025 and the lobby and the room insides were beautiful. +We had a valuable item go missing from our room. The hotel was very attentive in their investigation and took us seriously (unlike another hotel a decade ago.) No matter what the result, I really appreciated how the hotel handled the situation. + Great location. We were in a really fun area full of restaurants and bars. + Bar Cardinale was a great place to hang out in at night - relatively quiet and peaceful during the weekdays - and on Sat night they even had a DJ that played fun music. CON: - For a mid-luxury hotel, this was one of the smallest rooms I have been in for a while. The bathroom is so small, I had to move the makeup mirror in order to put my toothbrush on the side. - The weekend was full of kids - at night they were not supervised and we found them running around the M floors and the pools running in and out of the elevators. It was extremely unfortunate that the hotel did not have anyone around to round them out and make them go back to their rooms. read more

Checked in on 6/18/26 for a birthday trip to see The Fever play. My first impression was this Omni is not as opulent as the others that I have stayed in, but it's ok. My main concern was the rudeness of the staff. And I mean all of them. The bartenders at the lobby bar to the front desk and the people in the restaurant. Unbelievable! Second was the size of our "deluxe " king room. I was terrible claustrophobic. It was a very small room. And the bathroom was even worse! I guess I should have taken pictures, but didn't want to spend too much time in that room. The vanity in the bathroom was so small, there was no place to put my essentials. Then, let's talk about the bed. This had to be the smallest king size bed I've ever seen. We have a king bed. So I know how big they are. This was not. Then of course it was all broken down on one side. To the point I felt like when I laid flat, I would fold up! The food in the restaurant off the lobby was just ok, and way over priced. But that what you get at a hotel. Luckily we only stayed 2 nights. The good thing about this Omni was, it was clean. Very important to me. So, fyi, Valet is $61.00 an overnight stay. And more on weekends. That isn't posted anywhere, so I fought them on that. They took off one day charge. And, no place to park yourself. So valet is your only option. So, if you're in Indianapolis, save your money and stay elsewhere. Our room was $299 a night. With extra valet and all the fees and taxes, a two night stay came to $829.00. And that's after they took off one valet charge. read more

Had a wonderful 2 night stay here recently. It came highly recommended from a colleague who lives locally because it was recently renovated. It was stunning from the moment you enter the front doors into the lobby, and the front desk staff was very welcoming and helpful. The little cafe to the right of the entrance is so beautiful and convenient for early or late night eats (open until 10pm). I enjoyed their smash burger and fries and it was very delicious. They even had some yummy snacks to purchase for your travels home which was a nice touch. I also really loved the fresh batched fruit water in the lobby near the elevators with rotating fruit flavors, another nice touch. It's really the little things that make all the difference. My room was clean, spacious, and the electronic curtains were honestly my favorite part! The bed was very comfortable, along with the complimentary robe hanging in the closet. The bathroom was also very clean and large, but the only downside was that the hairdryer that came provided was broken. They do offer room service, but I did not take advantage. The WiFi was strong and didn't have any issues with the connection as I got some work done from both from room and the lobby. I would absolutely stay here again if I'm ever traveling back to the area in the future! read more

We booked a room with a city view for New Year's Eve 2026. The day before I called them and requested that they put us in a room as high up as possible, so that we would have good view of the city. They were very accommodating and put us in a room on the top floor, which is the 13th floor - they call it "CV", instead of "13th floor". I knew that check-in was at 4 pm but we were downtown early and we stopped in just to see if we might be able to check in before then. Our room was ready, so we were able to check in at around one o'clock that afternoon. Our room was very, very nice - spacious enough, with a king-size bed. Everything - all the bathroom fixtures included - was in perfect working order, neat and clean as a pin. This is an older hotel but I was really impressed with how clean and new everything seemed, including the carpet (most hotels have carpet that looks worn/not terribly clean, but this carpet was very clean and new-ish). The room also had a balcony so you could go outside and look at the city. I could see the Circle from our room and it was very pretty, all lit up for the holidays. I saw that there was a bar near the lobby, but if there was any sort of sit-down restaurant in the hotel, I did not see it and there was no indication of one. So we went to dinner at the nearby Oceanaire and then came back to the hotel to hang out and see the New Year in. There were some comfortable sofas/chairs to sit in in the lobby so rather than sit in the bar, we sat there and drank our wine. As the evening wore on, a large crowd of boisterous kids - YOUNG kids - came to the lobby and were being quite rambunctious. We were comfortable where we were and didn't feel like we should have to move into the bar or go to our room to get away from those kids, but it started getting late and we thought - they are little kids, they will have to go to bed soon. NOPE. We saw the New Year in surrounded by screaming, running, ball-throwing kids (one kid threw a ball that landed squarely on our table and almost knocked over my glass of wine). We saw the New Year in and then retired to our room for the night. The bed was comfortable and the linens were nice, but because our room was on the top floor, I could hear what I assumed was the HVAC system on the roof running constantly, all night long. And it was VERY loud. With a set of earplugs it would have been fine, but neither of us thought to bring them. We didn't sleep well and were checked out by 7 am so we could go home and get some real sleep. The Omni is a nice enough hotel, but I would not spend New Year's there again. And if I ever stay there again I will bring ear plugs. read more

The Omni Severin continues to be a top favorite of ours. Given the choice there isn't another hotel we'd rather stay at - and there are many nice options in Indianapolis. The renovations done in the last few years only served to up the ante. The lobby has been completely remodeled, looking at once both more modern yet still retaining an old world elegance. The back half of the lobby area keeps the same classic older feel to it. The rooms have all been updated. Newer Art Deco inspired furnishings and fixtures. Love the little touches like the various books on Indiana / Indianapolis history and railway history. The staff is consistently excellent, friendly and helpful. If I could give more stars to this hotel I would. Ideally located downtown, it is the perfect hotel for us and always our No. 1 choice. read more

First and foremost, huge shout out to Leo! He helped us get checked in and went above and beyond in getting us settled. He even took the time to get us a cart for our luggage and took it up to our room for us. He and Alexa, who was also at the front desk, made our first impression of the Omni, top notch! Room was spacious and super clean. There was construction going on right next to the hotel but it didn't interfere with our stay. The hotel is centrally located in the heart of downtown. I would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arose. read more

Located about 2 blocks away from the Indiana Convention Center and adjacent to the City Center shopping mall (which is closed). Great location as this hotel is also walking distance to the Indiana Pacers Arena. This is a historic building, with a beautiful lobby and soda fountain looking cafe at the entrance of the property. The room was on the smaller side, but recently renovated with modern looking designs. Friendly staff and great service. They left a hand written note for me at the room, which I found to be very welcoming. read more

We had a wonderful stay at the historic Omni Severin Hotel in Indianapolis as part of my research for Americas Historic Hotels. Our large room had a balcony overlooking the 1888 Union Train Station, and the bedroom space was separated from the living room area. The hotel is situated a few blocks from both the Pacers arena and the Colts stadium. The Severin was built in 1913 and recently underwent $24 million in renovations. It's a charming hotel very well situated near the convention center, the Capitol, and walkable to lots of restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. The architectural updates nod to its premiere location near the historic Union Train Station. We did not have dinner in the stunning Bar Cardinale restaurant, but we popped in later in the evening for fantastic vanilla bean ice cream topped with olive oil and Maldon salt. The café and market offers full sit down breakfast service and grab and go prepared foods. Its trolley window silhouettes were charming and clever. Also, had a chance to take a dip in the pool, which is overlooked by a small gym with nice, new equipment. My two negatives that we were in a room adjacent to a lock off that we could hear every thing throughout the entire evening, which involve little kids and lots of chatter. The other thing was the noise factor despite being 10 stories up. I had trouble sleeping because I could hear the street level bars, music and traffic including police cars until about 2 AM. Otherwise, I really appreciated the location and the nice rooms. We valet parked since construction was all around the corner, so parking didn't impact us. read more

Had a FANTASTIC birthday/anniversary getaway at the Omni Severin! Upon discovering the reason for our visit, the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a terrific experience literally from before we checked in. First, the day before our arrival I received a nice text saying the Omni was excited to be hosting us. I replied that we were also excited for the stay since it was our first at this property & we would be there celebrating my husband's birthday & our 28th anniversary. I was surprised to receive a personal reply from Katie congratulating me on our lengthy marriage, and advising me of the expected weather so we'd know how to pack. This was soooo thoughtful!! She also advised how to reach her if we needed anything. Valet staff was friendly and very efficient, and our car was returned to us quickly and safely. Desiree at the front desk was efficient and personable, and helped us a couple of times during our stay by providing directions to nearby places, and information about how to navigate around the construction area near the hotel. The entire front desk staff seemed to be a pretty happy bunch, and we had some fun chats with them as we walked through the lobby to the elevators. Extremely personable Bellman Freddie Mac had already greeted us at the main entrance, and once we were checked in, assisted us with our bags up to the room, unloading them into the closet for us. He was very congratulatory to us for our wedding anniversary, and was thrilled to find we had chosen one of his favorite restaurants - Geraldine's - for dinner that night. We found out later that he had called the restaurant and told them why we would be there that night, and man did they treat us well there, too!! He also stopped in to visit with us for a few minutes during breakfast on the day of check out, just making sure we had a great stay. So, great job by Freddie Mac - he's a treasure for sure. Upon checking into our beautifully appointed room, we were so surprised! Rose petals were sprinkled on the floor & made into a heart on the bed, a bottle of delicious champagne was chilling on ice, chocolate covered strawberries and truffles were in the fridge, some cute balloons floated above the champagne, and Janka Mezo, loyalty ambassador for this hotel, had left a lovely hand written card congratulating us on our wedding anniversary and wishing my husband a happy birthday. We were so pleasantly surprised by this level of attention. It really made our stay! Every employee we met provided us with a card with their contact info on it, which is why I'm able to provide their names. Although we never needed to reach out to any of them, it was so impressive to have that kind of accountability from a hotel staff. I've never experienced such a high level of service and excellence. The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was absolutely gorgeous. I loved the art deco styling of the public spaces and room. And the terrace overlooking the city was a really great and comfortable spot to just relax and enjoy the beautiful clear, cool autumn evenings. We spent as much time out there as possible. Although there were people staying in the rooms on either side of ours, we never heard any noise from them at all, and we didn't hear noise from the hallway either. This is unusual at historic properties, and made for a peaceful stay. In all, this glowing review is all due to the fantastic staff who went above and beyond to help us make this weekend a very lovely memory for us. The Omni staff treated us like celebrities, rather than the "Average Joe/Jane" that we are. This was a splurge weekend, & I'm so glad we booked the room with a private terrace, as it added tremendous value that made it worth the higher price. Came in for 2 nights for a Fever game and wanted a hotel walking distance from Gainbridge. I've had pleasant stays at other Omnis so I booked here instead of Hyatt. Based off of my experience, I will not be staying at another Omni for a while and certainly never this one. 1) my room smelled of stale cigarettes. And the room was TINY. I had no shampoo in my shower, just 2 conditioners and a body wash. 2) the volume button on the remote for the TV was broken and I let the front desk know. I was already asleep more than 2 hours later before they tried to send up a new one. 3) probably not Omni's fault but there was an emergency water shut off from 10pm-8am during my stay. Not ideal but I understand things happen. These rooms aren't cheap and I feel I got ripped off. I'd look elsewhere in the area. read more

We were kept awake 2 night until 4 in the morning due to night club patrons and cars racing around the street in front of night club. Then police or someone on loudspeakers tried endlessly to clear the crowd for an hour. Odors from adjacent rooms's occupant wafted thru locked adjoining room. Did not request a room with an adjoining room. Highly offensive men's cologne. Not a restful stay at all. I need to go home and sleep. read more

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! If I would have knew that the sky walk is not open, the water was going to be shut off from 9pm to 6 am, I would have never stayed here. The front desk director was so rude. I explained to him that my daughter has autoimmune disorder and that if she gets a cold she could pass way he said well I can't control that the skywalk is closed.. Kids running up and down the halls all night. No kid friendly food on the menu. There is construction going on right outside the hotel.. save your money and don't stay here. I came here for the Taylor swift concert with friends and we had a lovely stay! The staff was excellent, the lobby, hallways, and our room were pristine, and our room was ready before the 12pm check in we paid for, even better! The staff checked my ID at check in and noticed it was almost my birthday and sent a dessert up to our room, it was very thoughtful! The beds are super comfy and they brought extra pillows and towels quickly as requested. I'd definitely stay at this location again! read more

Historic, interesting location across from Union Station. They are remodeling it soon so come now to enjoy the historic character. This stay had several problems; however staff is resolving them efficiently and quickly. 1) Pools closed during our VaCa: management got us access to another pool nearby. 2) ice machines on floors 8&9 broke: Maintence got us ice from kitchen. 3) Smoke from wildfires in Canada: it's difficult to breathe outside 28 June 2023 - Madonna found us masks and gave us ideas for indoor activities. 4) Severin Bar staff: friendly & patient, 5) Bag staff: very experienced & helpful. 6) Shuttle around downtown was a wonderful experience. We stayed at the Omni for the first time! Parking can be rough but that's expected downtown! Valet is available but we decided to find a meter and got very lucky with a spot right outside the hotel!! When we went to check in, we were greeted immediately! Check in was quick and easy. Our room was nice! We checked the bed and saw what I think was a fake eyelash. Otherwise it was made up and clean. Loved the sofa in the room. Super cute and we had a really nice view! Only thing I would note to the hotel is that when in the shower the water was running out to the floor due to the separation between the glass door and wall. It didn't bother us much but may bother others more. Also taking an Uber or Lyft anywhere might be challenging during late nights and on the weekend. This could either be due to construction or sometimes the police will close off the main road by the bars causing misdirection. There is an ally way on Georgia street that takes you to the hotel but the map does not re-route drivers to this direction. We had 3 drivers replaced because of this. It was quiet throughout the night while sleeping. Bed was comfortable. We had fruit and refreshers from the cafe the next morning!! Overall, very nice! My fav thing about the hotel is the atmosphere! read more

Every person we encountered at the hotel was kind and joyous. The hotel was clean and well decorated, with the theme consistent and appropriate. Everything in our room was functioning and full. The heater worked well (which was great when it started snowing!) and the elevators were quick! Restaurants nearby had lots of options for different foods and there was an axe throwing place nearby! Wow, what a wonderful hotel. The staff here is absolutely amazing. The staff is always caring and helpful, especially the men who great you and take your luggage to your room. No other place compares to this. It is situated in such a central place in downtown. It's so close to Lucas stadium, and great restaurants and coffee shops. We had a very nice stay here. We don't frequent Omni hotels. Marcos was very helpful when we arrived and helped us to get checked in, figure out where things were nearby, etc. Beautiful entrance, albeit a bit hidden in an alleyway, comfortable rooms, very nice staff. But then, the bathroom... I hate the sink. The stopper requires visitors to push it down vs. using the normal stem rod that typical sinks have. So if you have to stop the drain from draining, you have to touch the stopper repeatedly, touching a part that thousands of people spit into. Nasty. Bad design. The designer just turned the Omni Hotel into a Hampton Inn, which I never go to for this specific reason. Very disappointing. Oh wait, the noise. We.could hear every door slam down the hall and even people waling in the hall. Walking? Need some serious soundproofing. When the AC comes on, we hear loose metal flickering in the AC unit. Not sure if its a loover, screw or something else. We can hear the water flowing from other rooms. And then there are trains blowing their horns at 11:30 pm. Very Blues Brothers-esque. We were on the 10th floor and could hear construction down below and conversations in the next room. Paper thin walls and no sound proofing. Bring your ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Gym has a bunch of equipment but it's a tight fit. Also, if you don't want to walk a mile to the Krogers, passing a mass of meth heads, there are water bottles available in the hotel gym... read more

I stayed here for a work conference and had a wonderful experience! The room was nice and clean, all the food was great - especially lunches and dinners, the Nest bathroom products smelled amazing. The meeting rooms were gorgeous and they really spoiled us with the availability of snacks and drinks. The place was packed due to a Colts game and a big country concert, but the staff service did not suffer. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends or family visiting Indy as it is a great downtown location as well. Only complaint was the elevator buttons on my floor were pretty gross - looked like a toddler with greasy fingers did a number on them or something. I was there for 2 nights and noticed it never was cleaned during the stay. Seems like high-traffic touchpoints like that should definitely be sanitized daily, especially post-COVID so that was a little disappointing. read more

Oh Omni Severin, what has happened to you? This hotel used to be our #1 hotel in Indy. We stayed last night and ugh it was not good. From check in to check out there was no customer service. This hotel was always known for its customer service. I get that we are in a global pandemic but that's no excuse for lowering your standards. The hotel was only at 40% capacity yet we were told there were no paid upgrades available. We were given, quite possibly the worst room in the hotel. Worn scratched furniture, postage stamp bathroom. I couldn't open the tiny closets door without closing the bathroom door. It felt like we were in a different hotel. The phone wasn't working and when I called the front desk from my cell phone I was out on hold for ten minutes and eventually hung up. Not once were we asked at checkout how our stay was. We had a room at the end of the hall. It nice since it was a corner had two large windows. There is in room coffee, a mini fridge and safe. The beds are comfortable with good pillows. They gave two complimentary bottles of water. They offer valet parking for $48. There is self parking across the street for $28. Several spots available. Unfortunately we did not try the bar or restaurant so unable to comment on either of those. Would definitely stay here again. read more

My girlfriend and I decided to stay here for our one year anniversary. I had made the decision to also propose while we were in town. I let the front desk know ahead of time and they were MORE than accommodating. They were able to get us a suite that was absolutely perfect for the proposal. They also put champagne and fresh fruit in our room accompanied by a sweet congratulations card signed by Janka and the team. I cannot overstate how much their hospitality meant to me for our special day. They earned a lifetime customer and I will recommend the Omni to anyone who wants to hear me. read more

We had reserved a suite weeks in advance. When we got to the hotel, they had given the suite away. They offered us a standard room. We indicated that we needed a room with more room. We waited in the bar, and ordred a double. They filled the glass a quarter of the way up, and when we asked if that was a double, they said Yes. When we got the bill for $24 we were surprised. Finally, our room was ready. When we entered the room, the carpet was soaking wet. We decided we didn't want to wait for another room so we dealt with it. We had also requested a pack and play for our two-year old son. They brought one that was broken. I will say, the customer service was fantastic, but the hotel, its prices, and the prices were certainly not up to what you would expect for the cost. read more

I usually don't leave negative reviews, but my experience at the Indianapolis Omni compels me to share. We booked a room with a king bed two months in advance, only to be told upon arrival that only rooms with two queens were available due to ongoing construction to add WiFi. This was disappointing, but I started looking for alternative accommodations. Then, out of nowhere, a king room suddenly became available. This felt like unnecessary game-playing, especially after a seven-hour drive. To avoid further frustration, we chose to stay at the Sheraton. We secured a king suite for a lower price, right next to the Soldiers and Sailors Monument which has a nightly light show. Additionally, half of the Omni lobby was blocked off due to construction, and the remaining half was also under renovation, with furniture wrapped in plastic and several areas inaccessible. There was also construction happening outside on two sides of the hotel. The prospect of waking up to construction noise during our weekday vacation was not appealing. This situation could have been mitigated with proper disclosure about the construction and a notification within the 60 days after booking about room availability. While my wife and I are particular, and perhaps others won't mind, there are many nicer hotels in the area at similar rates. Given our experience, it's hard to see how this is considered a 4-star hotel. Perhaps it's much better when not under renovation, but in its current state, it feels more like a low-tier 3-star hotel. read more

We've been staying here for years often in the roof top suite rooms. Our last trip in Dec. 2023 will be the last, the valet service left our car outside. The door was knocked on twice once when we arrived to bring us chocolate and the next morning 2 hours before check out with our do not disturb sign on the door. We won't be back. read more

Omni is a very beautiful hotel downtown. You can't beat the location for a pacers game which is why we stayed here. The rooms were outdated like a previous review said but the staff was extremely kind and accommodating. The rooms were clean and we loved how the hotel is connected to everything so we barely had to walk outside in the cold weather. Our night there was unfortunately very scary. We stayed in one of the suites with our two young kids. Starting at 1:30 AM the guest across the hall started having friends in their room coming in and out. Multiple times their guest knocked on our door getting the rooms confused. This didn't bother my kids so I let it slide and didn't say anything. Starting at 2:30 AM multiple fights broke out in that room with guest yelling "get the f*** out of my room." People crying in the hall and I was very very scared what was happening with my kids inside. I called the front desk, put every lock on our door possible, and kept my eye on the peep hole prepared to grab my kids and get out of there as soon as an opportunity allowed. The front desk sent what looked like police officers (3 gentlemen) with bullet proof vest to take care of the situation and that was at 3:45 AM. They never made the guest leave and I watched them address it with them through through the peep hole which the guest stated everything was fine and they would keep their voices down and that was that. I was honestly so scared for the hours of screaming and watching fights break out right outside my room and all I got when I called the front desk was that they were dealing with it and getting security and that was it. I was so exhausted after our night there that we cut our day short in Indy with the kids the next day so we could go home and take a much needed nap. I say all of this because while I know it is no fault of the hotels what type of guest stay there, they don't require a key card to get on floors in the elevator. I feel if they had this extra step of security that it would have made it harder for the guest across the hall to have people in and out of their hotel at night. Going to look for a different hotel next pacers game that does require a key card in the elevator and hope for a better outcome. That was the scariest and worst hotel experience I have ever had and I'm just glad my kids are safe. read more

Great location, but just not worth what we had to go through. Not to mention its an older hotel, so the rooms are kinda outdated. Only option for parking was VALET! which was almost $50 a night! If I could give this hotel no stars, I would. The front desk staff did not offer a solution. The room we stayed in smelled like pee, the AC is broken, the shower pressure is out of control. Apparently we were the only ones on the floor we were in because of the condition of the whole floor. The whole floor smelled like a dead body. It was nauseating. All the front desk staff could say was 'I'm sorry'. No action, no solution whatsoever. It was difficult to enjoy the stay but the condition of the hotel was so poor and the hospitality of the staff was not existent either. We had to find another hotel to be comfortable. Please find another decent hotel and stay away from this hotel. read more

I went to this hotel for an anniversary get away, and was only able to get one night because there was a big convention in town. Boy am I glad because this place was awful! I have no idea how it has a 4 star rating. First off, it looks absolutely NOTHING like the pictures online. It was old, outdated, dirty and the furniture was severly worn with cracks and holes in the chair to deep scratches on the nightstand that has the ONE lamp on it. The baseboards were dirty and scuffed, the furniture in the bathroom had water damage and was peeling. The coffee maker didn't work, so someone brought me another one and just handed it to me instead of bringing it in and setting it up, and taking the broken one. There was also no water to make the coffee with. Normally, you get at least get one bottle. The fridge wouldn't get cold and, the water for the shower wouldn't get past warm. The room was $447 for one night, but because the room was horrible and I complained, they quickly discounted it half, but I'm sure it's because they get constant complaints. Sadly, it still didn't makeup for a bad uncomfortable stay. I read other ratings that were bad also. Too bad it wasn't before I booked the room. This hotel should be rated a 2.5 at best. read more

We as a family of four and our service dog decided to take a night and a couple days away from our life to celebrate Labor Day. We specifically chose this hotel because no other hotels in the area had a suite style hotel. I received a text the day before arrival asking if there was anything we needed. I replied that we should be arriving around 3p.m. This was noted and agreed upon. When we arrived the room was not ready. In fact, it wasn't ready until after 4. We walked downtown Indianapolis for a few and truly tried to keep our spirits up with 2 children and a service dog. Upon entry to our suite our luggage wasn't in room. I then walked downstairs to retrieve it myself. When I entered the room was dark so we tried to open the blinds and plastic brackets flew at my head, as the sheer window covering came down. I called the front desk and the phone wasn't working. After we had a very nice gentleman state the window hanging wasn't safe around children we were asked to hang tight. Another man knocked and let us know that our room had been upgraded. It was the Presidential Suite. The room was beautiful however, it was dirty. Late and missing our original reservation I hopped in the shower. Which was clogged in the upstairs shower. Still not happy I made the best of the view. The room itself was beautiful and had a spiral staircase as you enter. However, I disliked this with children and our service dog. My kids decided they were going to play hide and seek and found a pair of someone's underwear in the second upstairs room. We also found a pack of nicorette gum and a candy wrapper that another guest had left behind. We were shocked. I can't begin to express the unease when there was no warning that there was an outdoor concert happening until 10.... the music shook the hotel and our kids couldn't sleep. Needless to say we won't be back. I urge others to spend their money more wisely.... this is absolutely unheard of and I am disappointed, disgusted, and worse out of over $400 for the worst experience of my life. read more

Great location in the center of Indianapolis! It was close to everything. The front desk was very kind and checked us in promptly. Since it is an older hotel, as expected the rooms are tinier and worn. Our hotel room had 2 double beds rather than the common 2 queens. The chairs within the room were worn down and frayed. The grout in the bathrooms were chipped and stained. There were limited outlets in the room as well. Although we did not need WiFi, I don't think it's free like most hotels nowadays. It's a great location! Just wished they kept the place up and renovated the rooms as well. The hotel only had valet parking (~$46 dollars), but right behind the hotel is self park parking garage that is half the price ($24 for overnight parking). read more

Don't stay here unless you enjoy being uncomfortable. When I arrived the valet was awful, and there is so much construction it's hard to find a place to park when I gave up. When I got to the front desk I was informed that although I paid for a king suite, they could not accommodate that and only had a queen, which at this hotel is going from a 4 star hotel room to a 1 star room. They offered me a $25 credit at the bar to make up for it, when I tried to use it, the bar was under construction and the one small area serving drinks had a line I stood in for 10 minutes and never moved. In the room, there was no microwave, a tiny bathroom, no balcony, scratchy sheets, the pillows were hard and uncomfortable, and the street noise from bar music and trikes revving their engines kept waking me up when I actually managed to get to sleep. I would have been better off at the Red Roof down the street which is pretty sad. Avoid this place! read more

This is a lovely hotel! The beds and pillows are fabulous. The customer service is impeccable. There is even a Starbucks inside the hotel. For the evening, there is a modern bar with a fun atmosphere and pool table. My "city views" room didn't disappoint. The valet staff were very helpful. Our breakfast food at the 1913 Restaurant was wonderful. The location was convenient to everything downtown, with easy accessibility in and out. Made for a awesome weekend getaway. read more

I was so happy with my time at this hotel! We arrived early, and they still let us check in, even after requesting a change to the type of room we had! Everyone at the front desk and concierge (especially Adam!) were so kind and helpful. Our room was lovely and very clean. We had wonderful views from the top floor of the Soldiers and Sailors monument. The only thing I will say is there was an odd amount of floor space, and the TV was VERY far away from the beds- it was almost as if they were missing a small sofa for extra seating. The lobby always had delicious fruit infused water. The gym and pool were lovely and clean. The location was perfect- we walked all around the city and hardly needed to get in a vehicle once. There was a Starbucks right in the lobby! Speaking of the lobby, there were several moments throughout this long weekend that a group of us sat around the lobby to chat, and it was so quiet and beautiful. There were plenty of entrances around the city block the hotel was on- and all felt very secure, needing key card entry. The hotel kindly notified us of a local running race happening Saturday morning- it didn't end up being disruptive at all but it was so nice to know what we were seeing. One of the coolest things about this hotel is that it connected to the Circle City mall via an enclosed bridge across the street. Basically, if weather had been poor, we could have stayed inside the whole weekend and still gone to hundreds of shops and restaurants- the mall even had a huge arcade, a movie theater, and an arts garden! I almost felt like I was at a resort! Highly recommend this hotel and this location. read more

Located right in the heart of downtown. Walking distance to many local restaurants, bars and club. Whole Foods is just 1/2 mile away. Staff is very helpful and curious. Rooms could use a remodel at some point, but suite is spacious. read more

I booked this hotel based on it being 4 stars and other rating and let me tell you this hotel is far from 4 stars it's more like 2.5 maybe a 3, and that's only because of the front desk they are super accommodating and friendly. As far as the room itself it is really outdated . The tv is a Panasonic and the the furniture has seen better days . I feel like I stepped back into the 70s . Not to mention valet parking is $52 which is absolutely ridiculous . I would not recommend this hotel or stay here again . Luckily I was driving through so it was only for one night . But I stall feel like I overpaid . read more
