The existing AV system was overly complex, had outdated gear, hard to operate, and lost access to streaming services (Netflix). Jim took quite a bit of time diagnosing over the phone and carefully assigned homeowner duties so as not to blow out the budget. Michael came out and made substantial improvements based on our preferences, including: o Installed new Spectrum boxes o Delivered and installed Roku 4K devices for Netflix access. Also, set up logins and account access o Replaced old outdate router w/ new mesh router o Cleaned up cables/wiring, which were a complete mess o Replaced a fixed TV wall mount, with one that was adjustable, greatly improving the view-ability within the room o Reduced reliance on Universal Remote, making things much simpler o Ensured other devices (iPad, notebook, Echo) integrated and worked properly Michael was thorough, knowledgable, and asked all the right questions before making changes. Jim even came out on the first day to bring by a part. The pricing was very reasonable, especially given the level of improvement. Highly recommended.

From start to finish, their professionalism, knowledge, and attention to detail truly stood out. They installed a new exterior TV on our patio, improved our smart home components, added a SONOS system throughout our home, and even set up a karaoke system in our family room--all seamlessly integrated and easy to use. The quality of their work made a huge improvement in how we enjoy our home, both indoors and outdoors. The team showed up on time, kept every area clean, and made sure everything was organized and working perfectly before they left. They were friendly, respectful, and clearly take great pride in their work. We're extremely happy with the results and highly recommend STV Audio & Video Services to all our friends and family. That's when I hit yelp to find some help in the neighborhood and found the MAC SOS listing. Ryan now has a new lifetime customer in me, as he was super friendly and easy to talk to and got everything done I had been putting off for years! I spoke with Ryan on the phone before we arranged a time to work on my VERY old laptop. He told me what parts to order and then, today he worked on it and it's totally fixed! Huzzah! My 2009 "vintage" model MacBook will last me a few more years, which is all I've ever dreamed of, as I feel so wasteful getting a brand new one. I like to think Ryan helped reduce my carbon footprint. Going green people! Anyway, once he had repaired my ol' machine, he showed me all the new features and basically gave me a tutorial on how to best use my new souped up computer! He set up all the features/settings the I wanted them and synched it all up with my iPhone! It was very educational and eye opening. I feel very liberated...probably the way my Grandparents felt the first time we showed them how to use the VCR. It's like I'm using my computer from the future. If I were to sing a song about how I feel right now, it would be that weird Olivia Newton-John/ELO song, "I'm ALIIIIIIIIIIVE" from XANADU. Aaaaand scene.

Not only were they willing to take on the job, but they were also willing to do it with only a few days notice since they had the availability. The safety deposit was a reasonable price and it was easy to send over the money through mobile pay. We received a message the day before the move to confirm that we were still on for our scheduled time. It was great to have that kind of reassurance from a moving team. Especially during such a stressful time! Angel and Jesus arrived early on the day of the move to make sure they had time to meet us and set up. The two of them absolutely crushed the move in amazing time. (And we didn't make it easy on them as we lived up a few flights of stairs!) They were communicative when they took a break for lunch -- keeping us in the loop so we knew when they would arrive. It was so great that all of our stuff was safe and locked up so they could take that time to refuel for the unloading process. We were so grateful to have trustworthy movers take care of this big move for us. We won't be moving for a while, but we will definitely be recommending this team to any of our friends/family that move in the future. For reference our move was from Palm Springs, CA to Indio, CA.

He was always available for my last-minute questions and he kept me abreast of the timeline. Such a great experience. My situation is that, over a few…read moreyears, a fair amount of things in my modest condo had broken or otherwise required a fix-it. My periodic searches for handymen on the internet repeatedly left me inclined to defer matters, until my shower faucet started a drip which I was not able to fix, and it Required a fix. This time I happened upon Mr. Fix It's website & read his bio piece in which he mentions a natural interest in fixing things since childhood. And it occurred to me, for the first time, that maybe I could afford to have a lot of things fixed; things that would not be cost effective to call a handyman for individually. The website had a "contact me" page through which I communicated. Sure enough Mr Fix It was able to fix everything I presented and do so as with a knack; proficient, and efficient; and at reasonable cost for his services. A dream come true for someone like me, with poor repair skills and high need for a handyman service. And Mr Fix It, who appears to be in his youthful prime of life, and, incidentally, resembles a Norse deity in appearance, manifests integrity; has an agreeably natural cheerful manner; and demonstrates a very evident desire and intention to do an excellent job, whether the task be small or large. Some of our furniture pieces were wonky to begin with and Jose made sure to have tools to ensure their solid build once in our new place.
