This company is amazing!!! Do not waste your time with all these brokers that call you and promise you the world. This is an independent company and they do what they say. My car arrived 2 days early. It was covered with a car cover and plastic and well taken care of. The driver Jeff was very knowledgable about cars and called me several times to let me know where he was at and when he would arrive. Yes, it cost a few bucks extra but well worth the money. Dont waste you time with anyone else I reccomend this company. I had a great experience. read more

These Guys Are the One!!! Trust me! Review: I read many horror stories about the various transport companies you can find online. After reading positive review after positive review about Intercity I requested a quote. It was higher than I expected but I believe you get what you pay for and I would rather pay a little extra to someone I can trust with my mint condition drop top 64 Impala than take any chances trying to save a measly couple hundred bucks. These guys were stone cold professionals. From the moment I first spoke to Roy to get a quote these guys made me feel like I was in safe hands. You could tell they are on top of their game. They stayed in contact with me every day throughout the entire process and actually showed up 3-4 days ahead of schedule!! I had to scramble around on a Sunday morning to pull out the cash payment for the driver but that was actually good news and not a bad thing. The driver was friendly, professional and called me several times during transport. The delivery was smooth and right to my doorstep. I could not be happier. These guys brought my car in perfect condition and I could tell they really do treat the cars like they are the prized possessions the owners treat them as. If you want someone reliable, trustworthy and don't want to worry about your car you NEED to use Intercity. I am not blowing smoke up anyone's arse here. If you want peace of mind and then pay a little extra and use these guys. You will not have to stress about anything and that to me is priceless. Thank you Roy, Dean and my driver for a truly enjoyable and smooth process. Anytime I need to transport a vehicle or if a friend needs this service rest assured these guys have earned me as a client for life. And no I wasn't offered anything to write this review lol, these guys earned it with top notch customer service. And I hate writing reviews and never do. But this was definitely warranted I want other people to get their cars safely as I did with my 64 which I couldn't be happier with!!! Thank you Intercity! -Anthony You can view your review at: http://www.transportreviews.com/review/00271182.asp read more

From the onset the process was entirely stress free. Order placed with Jeff, Sharon coordinated and Roy was the driver. Continuous accurate information about times was provided. Moved Nomad from NM to So CA. Roy is a real asset, a hard working personable, hard working, careful young man. He is dedicated to his part in making the transport of your vehicle a pleasant experience. He represents himself and the company well and professionally. I will be using Intercity with any of my vehicle transportation needs in the future. I am making this review on my own and will not accept any compensation. I am truly pleased with the service. I had the best experience I could have hoped for with Intercity. Scheduling was a breeze and everything was done exactly as promised. The driver picked up the car from CA, went over with a fine tooth comb and then reported to me every step of the way. Some days later, he arrived at my home in IL and proceeded to carefully unload the car and drove it right into my garage. Their trucks are extremely sophisticated and their drivers are very friendly. What more can you ask for? read more

Great experience. We had a car shipped from Arizona to Virginia and the entire transaction was without issues. Great service and the car arrive on time in perfect condition. We would use them again in a heartbeat. read more

Worth the wait! Shipped a 1967 Camaro from Reno to Denver and had trouble finding a transport company to get to Reno in a reasonable amount of time. Waited a couple of weeks for InterCity to pick up and my car was delivered within 48 hours. Same truck and driver delivered the car. DO NOT use dispatch service, you never know how or when your car will arrive. Customer service was great, the driver kept me updated on the entire process. Great experience. read more

I read some good reviews about Intercity Lines so wanted to have them ship my Porsche Macan from Maryland to Washington. I patiently called them every week for a month and a half and they couldn't tell me if they would have a truck going out there or not. How disorganized. I don't know how they run a business running everything so last minute. Finally a rude woman named Mickey calls me and leaves me a message saying they are available to pick up my car in two days. It's not rocket science- doing a cross country move requires planning and they are inconsiderate of your time. I call her back and tell her nicely that I had to go with another company due to timing and she rudely hangs up the phone before I can even say thank you and goodbye. This company gets 1 star because they need to train their employees like Mickey to have some decency. (I went with Angel Moving Autos instead and they were awesome! Amazing turn around time and communication). read more

I have been trying to navigate the murky waters of auto transport companies and I have to say that the best company I found was Intercity Lines. I cannot afford their quote/price since it's a covered carrier, not a cheaper option of open carrier, so I am unable to go with them but Matt was very helpful in giving advice. He took his time to answer my questions and I appreciate such good customer service. read more

Fabulous company. This was my 2nd time using Intercity for x-country car moves. This time I dropped 2 cars in Brookfield, MA and my wife and I headed for CA in a rented moving truck. Just as we arrived in CA we heard from Joe & Linda Mayhan that they had our cars and would see us in about 5 days. Joe kept in contact along the way giving us updates. We met at a large parking lot -- they pulled in during the night. Both cars were in pristine shape. Intercity does not sub-contract so the driver is their employee and the truck is fully enclosed so no stone chips. I highly recommend Intercity for shipping your car -- safe, secure, and they keep you informed during the entire process. The extra cost over an open carrier operated by a company that bids for your business is well worth it -- cars are an expensive investment and Intercity treats them like their own. read more

Shipped our 67 Chevelle SS from FL to CA Jan 2017. Thanks to them for fantastic service! What a beautiful first class rig they have, they cover the car with cloth, then plastic in a beautiful enclosed carrier. Very professional service. Big thanks to Sharon for the great communication and to the driver Paul for his polite and oh so careful handling. He was right on target with his estimated delivery date, he called the night before and 30 minutes out. Ihighly recommend these folks! read more

this is the 2nd time i used intercity. what i like about intercity is their communication--both the company and the driver (we had Matt --don't know his last name but he lives in Florida and has a summer house in W. VA). we told intercity the earliest they could pick up the car in Park City was a Thursday in August. Matt called on Sunday and said he was in the area, could he pick up the car on Tuesday. Because we had nobody to receive the car in Seattle until that week Friday, we told him the earliest was still Thursday. I know this meant he would sit idle for 2 days (that costs him money), but he was very respectful of our decision. He stayed in touch during the week and was there promptly on Thursday morning. he then looked over the cars, making note of dents, dings, etc. (wow I did not know how many imperfections I had, but he was spot on). he treated my cars like they were his--very gingerly. after he took off, he was immediately in touch with my son in law in Seattle. he must have called him at least 5 times during his travel to make sure he met delivery expectations. as promised, the cars arrived Saturday morning--in immaculate condition. Matt was polite, honest, timely, professional--he was caring for my "baby--87 Porsche 911". Thanks Matt and Intercity. I hope I don't need you guys for a number of years, but when I do, you are my first and only call. read more

A great experience! We used Intercity to ship our car from Chicago to the East Bay. After reading online countless stories (many of them horror stories) about car shipping and reviews of car shippers, I went with Intercity because its name kept popping up in positive reviews and happy stories of satisfied customers. Now I can count myself as one of those satisfied customers. To start, their quote was significantly lower than the other two seemingly comparable high-quality enclosed-truck car shippers. But the big reason to use Intercity is the unbeatable quality of the service they provide. The people in customer service were outstanding. Jim, who coordinated the quote and details of the shipment, was responsive as can be to various emails I sent him about the move. Sharon was great, kept in contact with me during the move, and followed up after the move. Finally, the driver, Larry, was a superstar in every way, especially in communicating with me and our friends from whom he picked up our car in Chicago. He was even able to delay the delivery a couple of hours at my request. A note to users of car shipping services: Sometimes, as we do and did, you live in an urban area in an place impossible for an enormous truck to negotiate. Intercity found suitable alternative locations near our requested pickup and delivery locations. The driver even insisted on giving our friends with whom we left our car in Chicago cab fare back to their place because the requested pickup location couldn't be accessed by truck. Intercity is the way to go if you want a carefree car-shipping experience from start to finish! read more

Worst Service Ever. I have been waiting 5 weeks for them to pick up a car and it still sits waiting, AT first the quote was 2 weeks, then 3, now it's been 5 weeks and we are still waiting. Now they claim the delay is because of bad weather, but earlier in the week the truck was broken down. The representative at Intercity actually told me they didn't know the schedule of the driver. How can a trucking company not know the schedule? Very unprofessional so far. Updated: Called Passport Transport, they scheduled a pick up the same day and the vehicle is on it's way. read more

I own a 2014 Bentley GTC which I purchased in Florida in April 2014. I hired Intercity Lines to transport my car from my home in Naples Florida to my home in New York. When they picked up the car it only had 97 miles on it. When they delivered the car to me in New York the passenger side mirror had two gouges in it. They just picked up the car in New York last week to deliver it back to Florida. My wife flew down to Florida to accept delivery. When the driver was backing the car out of the trailer he scraped the front wheel against the side of the ramp destroying the wheel. I will never use them again. I gave them two opportunities and both times they damaged my brand new Bentley. read more

Intercity is the absolute best! Just shipped my car from San Jose to Chapel Hill SC. These guys are simply the best. Kept me informed via texts, car delivered in perfect condition on-time. I initially went through a broker and what a nightmare. He was extremely aggressive. I am so thankful for the reviews on this site as that is how I found out about Intercity Lines, Inc. I was in the process of moving from the East Coast to the West. Going through Intercity Lines for this very stressful move was a joy compared to my initial transporter. I never had to negotiate any different prices or delivery locations and there were no hidden fees. What a blessing they have been to me! read more

Very good and professional company. I had a pleasant experience from booking the transport up to delivery. Roy communicated well via email and answered and set my expectations with regard to the vehicle pickup and delivery. The vehicle was picked up in less than 7 days and was delivered exactly a week after it was picked up. This is great considering it was a NJ to Southern CA transport. Warren the driver took care from picking up to delivery. He kept us updated as to how far he is and when to expect delivery. Very outstanding service from all of the staff I worked with. I would highly recommend them to anyone moving their car especially if it were coast to coast. read more

My recent experience with Intercity Lines was absolutely five star! I would highly recommend InterCity Lines to anyone interested in shipping a vehicle or a fleet of vehicles anywhere in the country. I appreciate the first class service from InterCity Lines. read more

Intercity shipped a car for me across the country and this company is the real deal. The vehicle was delivered on time, Eric, the driver was professional and took great care with the delivery. I purchased a BMW from a dealer in CA and because of taxes, needed to have it shipped to me in CO. I read a ton of reviews on different sites. Intercity Lines was recommended by a number of members on the Bimmerforums. Thier quote was right in line with other enclosed transport options, but they were a carrier. After talking with Jim, I felt very confident with choosing Intercity Lines. My car was picked up within 2 business days of availability. The driver, Andy, was very courtious and professional. He did a great job of keeping me informed. I would have loved it delivered to my door, but there was no way he could have got the truck into our cul-de-sac. We met at a retail parking lot at the appointed time, which i had to delay an hour, so the car was already unloaded. Andy had put plastic on the seat and a paper mat on the floor to protect the interior. The car was in perfect shape! One final note. Unlike a lot of other companies, I was not offered anything for this review. They earned this rating, they did not buy it. For that special car use Intercity Lines. read more

After seeing Intercity Lines ship vehicles for Wayne Carini on Chasing Classic Cars, I went to their website for additional information. I was pleased to note this was not a broker and that they had their own fleet of trucks and trailers. The testimonial given by Jay Leno also gave me the assurance that they would do an excellent job in the shipping of my two classic Mustangs from Corona, Ca. to Carmel, In. From the time I placed the order to deliver to my home in Carmel, the 7 days far exceeded my expectations. Roy did a great job in the office when I placed the order, and the driver, Warren, kept me well informed along his travels, keeping me informed of where he was at, and when he would be delivering the vehicles. The transporter was clean and the vehicles were secured by tire straps and covered for added protection as shown in their video. Warren was meticulous in his work and carefully unloaded both vehicles and drove them from the truck into my garage. I found the charges to be reasonable, given the service and peace of mind they provided, and would certainly use them again the next time I ship a vehicle. If they are good enough for Wayne Carini, Jay Leno, and the Peterson Museum in LA, they are certainly good enough for me. Thanks to Roy, Warren, and Intercity Lines for a job well done!! first time user, no problems, no tricks, nothing but good service, thanks intercity lines.Louis S.

Communication on pick up and car delivery was not what I would expect for a company that is supposed to be one of the best! Car was delivered damaged to a storage location prior to me being able to pick it up and drive it to Canada. The storage place was not aware of the damage as they had never seen the car. Leaving me with a damaged car and looking for a new grille that are NLA, and having paint work to be done in the near future now. Claims department said it was signed for and that they called to confirm that everything was good, so basically tough luck! Nobody called me, and I was paying for the shipment and owner of the car. Wold not recommend or use again, and when I told complaint this they said ok have a nice day ! No attempt to make the customer happy. Be careful if you use them and make sure you are there at delivery and take pictures before and when unloading or they will stiff you as well. read more
