He jokes that he was there when Al Gore invented the internet. A little cheesy but believable for how long he and his team have been doing this. I think I remember him saying over 20 years just by himself. First, I'll share some context. Our company is a growing Austin based startup. We were looking for…read morea production house to execute what would be a complicated shoot. It involved set design for multiple locations, many actors, product shots, voice-over, motion graphics, and much more. The project from the get-go was a logistical nightmare with a short execution window of under two months to map-out, script, casting, shooting, editing, and delivery of multiple assets for various formats. Another side note is I used to be on the same end like them, with a production house of my own, so I scrutinize way more than most since I know how it all works. Enter Beatt Productions. I had the pleasure of having worked with them in the past on other complex but smaller in scale productions, which they had beautifully executed. The reason I chose them time and time again is their ability to quickly take on a project and adapt to just about any scenario. In our case, having such a short production timeline would have deterred others but, Colin and his team didn't flinch. Items we thought were going to be a no-go, they were always willing to come with a solution rather than concerns. The only problem we had was my team and I not being able to keep up with their level of execution. Even then, they kept us on track, on schedule, and budget. We even changed direction on one of our scenes last minute, and they were more than accommodating. Pricing is also fair. They are in no way a cheap shop with a few pieces of gear type of operation. They cost a bit more, but they are still less expensive than most large production companies due to their small team. I can attest as I've put cost overvalue a few times and had to eat that in the long run. They've had to have them save me a few times. Overall, I'm pleased with their level of execution, quality, story, and attention to detail. I highly recommend!

Unlike, what I read in a review below, these guys were "quick." I did have a solid idea of what design concept I wanted for the site with our very specific needs in an easy to use document. (I encourage anyone redoing a website to do this - otherwise there is tons of time wasted on back and forth.) Space Chimp provided a good designer/developer that knew wordpress well and was very fast in his development. Anything that he did not know how to do he let me know. Communication was good from start to finish. Our site is spiabroad (com) if you want to see the work they did for my company SPI High School Study Abroad programs. They finished our site redesign in a very timely manner and have been very easy to work with since. They gave us a dedicated account manager which has been very helpful to get the periodic updates and tweaks to the site done. This past weekend our website went down due to a server hosting issue (not related to Space Chimp) and the guys came to our rescue all day long on a weekend. I was very impressed. Listen, most web people are not always the best at communication. These guys actually are. I highly recommend them for many years, but above all they simply do good work that follows all the current and up to date trends in web design and online marketing.

If you provided me with a quote that was below your profit margins that was a bad business choice on your part and had nothing to do with me. We provided the payment form, but you did not want to use it causing delay. -- You asked me to email you my banking details, which is so incredibly irresponsible. You tried to reach us during the lunch hour unsuccessfully and tried the exact same time the following day that is still during lunch. --I have called 4 times over the last three weeks, ranging from 11:20 AM and 3 PM - each time I was either told that no one was in the office who could run payment details but you could write it on a piece of paper (again the disrespect for for banking security my gosh.) or didn't I get an answer.
