If I could give negative stars it would be at least negative 10…read more Stay away from this service provider and from Peter. He charged me $1500 for a shower tile cleaning and regrouting. No words needed, just take a look at the pictures. In addition to that, I have not been provided with a written estimate. We agreed on $540 for tile cleaning, repairs, recaulking for a shower + $125 for bathtub recaulking. When he started the work he suggested to redo grouting for the whole shower: I'll do it for one fifty" he said. I repeated to make sure "one fifty"? Yes. So I assumed he'll charge me an additional $150 for regrouting. It turned out he meant $1500. This business should not be on a market at all. I was not provided with any receipt as well. Update. The answer from Peter is just a joke. The pictures he provided as "before" are actually pictures "after" so nothing changed accept for the neat unsanded grout that I had was removed and replaced with rough sanded grout, the excess of which was not removed properly, so my whole shower has a rough surface now. Very hard to clean surface. One more time - pictures Peter provided in his reply are pictures "after" not "before", so he didn't even clean the tile in corners! (I paid him for tile cleaning and regrouting. (I didn't pay you $550 for four corners- are you insane?! The estimate included thorough cleaning!!! Which you did do as well. My shower actually looked better before, I regret that I ever hired you. I doubt that any of 4-5 starts reviews are true customers' reviews. I regret that I didn't check all of them before hiring. The only true and honest review is from Charley. This business is a scam and they don't have any experience working with tile cleaning and regrouting. P.M. I request the receipt from you business.

Anyone else sick of trying to get flaky handymen, housekeepers, etc. to do quality work for them?…read moreSeveral months ago, Martin installed a new front door on my house. It was quite a job as it was a metal door and required a new door frame as well. He did a seamless job! I don't know crap about installing doors, but it was as if he used a razor blade to cut out the old door frame and put in the new one, it was done with so much precision. This morning, I needed something done in a hurry (dog emergency: I needed a retractable pet gate installed), so I called Martin. He told me he had a 2.5 hour window in which he could help me and that he could be there in 20 minutes. He was very gracious when he showed up and is doing the work as I write this and... Oi la! Great job Martin! People don't really review their handymen on Yelp, probably in part because they don't want the handyman to become so busy they can't get them as easy or raise their prices. Well, I'm doing it anyway! Maybe I'm not selfish. Or maybe I am selfish and I just want this fine gentleman to stay in business so that he can continue to work for me :-) Anyway, thanks, Martin! I'll update my review to 5 stars after you have done a few more wonderful jobs for me.

Geo did an AMAZING job installing our patterned office carpet!…read more We weren't sure what kind of carpet we wanted when we decided to re-carpet our home office. Geo was VERY Patient with both of us the entire time... bringing us samples and offering suggestions. We found something we loved but had to special order it -- and while waiting for it to come in, Geo was patient EVEN MORE with hubby's many questions about the entire process. When install date came, Geo showed up early. He immediately started to work HARD and very quickly finished the job... stopping only to ask my opinion on the pattern that I'd chosen and which way I wanted it to show (I tried to give an opinion -- but honestly...? he knew exactly what he was doing and didn't need my help (it was sweet of him to ask though *smirk*) I noticed, during the install, that he was very careful about the rest of our home and even placed his tools ON TOP OF A RAG when putting them outside the office doorway on top of our bamboo flooring in the living room. (totally not necessary, as it's the most durable one we could buy -- but it was a nice gesture and made me feel very comfortable that he'd be careful with the entire process) long story short: (you wish! LOL) WE LOVE THE CARPET AND THE JOB HE DID INSTALLING IT!!! he was very thorough. he cleaned up as he went along and after he was completely done..... (he even helped me get our two, very heavy, metal 1950's desks back into the office since hubby had just broken his leg and was still in a cast) This review is two weeks overdue -- but EVERY SINGLE time I walk into our office I'm just falling in love all over again - and reminded of what an amazing job that Geo did to get this all accomplished so perfectly.
