At times, a different, lower-quality white paint than what we had purchased was used. During the project, multiple glass windows were broken and plexiglass was installed in a historic bay window instead of properly replacing it with the materials we purchased. A tile floor had to be removed and redone after being installed without regard to the pattern, and we had to intervene to prevent a countertop from being cut in the wrong location. A significant amount of materials we purchased for the project, including tile, paint, and three ceiling light fixtures, were not returned or accounted for. When we attempted to reconcile materials, we were unable to get clear or consistent answers. Materials (we purchased) were also requested well in advance of when they were actually needed, and the materials used on site often did not match what we had purchased for the project. This, combined with the lack of clear accounting, raised concerns about how materials were being handled across jobs. Overall, the experience lacked attention to detail, transparency, and accountability, and we would not work with him again.
