We had an excellent experience with Royal Roofing Queens from beginning to end. The entire team was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely easy to work with. From the initial inspection, they took the time to explain the condition of our roof, answer all of our questions, and provide a clear plan for the work that needed to be done. The crew was punctual, respectful, and very efficient. They worked carefully, paid attention to every detail, and made sure our property was protected throughout the project. Once the job was completed, they cleaned up everything and left the area looking great. What impressed us most was the communication and quality of the workmanship. We were kept updated throughout the process and felt confident that our roof was being handled by experienced professionals. The final result exceeded our expectations, and we are very happy with the durability and appearance of the finished roof. I would highly recommend Royal Roofing Queens to anyone looking for reliable roofing services. Their professionalism, craftsmanship, and commitment to customer satisfaction truly stand out. read more

As a property manager for a multifamily building in Queens, we hired Royal Roofing Queens for a flat roof leak and drainage issue that had been ongoing for a while. Chris and Matt, the project managers, were straight to the point and easy to work with. They came out, explained what was actually causing the problem, and didn't try to oversell anything we didn't need. Pricing felt fair for the scope of work and they were transparent from the start. The crew showed up on time, worked efficiently, and kept the site pretty clean even with tenants in the building. The repair itself was done quickly and the roof has been holding up well since no more leaks or ponding issues after heavy rain. Overall, solid experience and I'd use them again for future work. read more

For several years, I kept approving small repairs because a complete flat-roof replacement felt financially out of reach. The leaks would stop temporarily, then another ceiling bubble would appear somewhere else. By the time we scheduled this inspection, water was also remaining on the roof long after the rain ended. The proposal separated necessary work from optional improvements and included an allowance for a reasonable amount of deck replacement. Financing was available through a third-party lender, with approval and terms determined by that lender. Under the plan we qualified for, we were able to move forward with monthly payments instead of postponing the project for another year. Once tear-off started, the crew found two roofing layers, compressed insulation near the drain, and deteriorated plank decking along part of the rear wall. They photographed those areas before covering them and stayed within the decking allowance. The replacement included new insulation, a cover board, EPDM membrane, rebuilt wall flashing, and a larger scupper to improve drainage. Our upstairs tenant received notice about the noisiest days, although the crew did arrive earlier than expected one morning. Other than that, access was handled thoughtfully and the neighboring property was swept at the end of the job. The first major rainfall showed a noticeable difference: water moved toward the scupper instead of collecting across the rear half of the roof. Being able to replace the complete system instead of funding another temporary patch gave us the peace of mind we were looking for. read more

We highly recommend Matt and his team. They replaced our shingle roof, gutters, soffits, fascia, aluminum capping, and siding on our home in Jamaica, Queens, and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. The crew was professional, hardworking, and paid close attention to detail. The pricing was fair, communication was great throughout the project, and the finished work exceeded our expectations. Our home looks fantastic, and we couldn't be happier with the results. We would gladly recommend Matt to anyone in the area looking for quality roofing and siding work. read more

A newer rooftop heat pump worked properly, but the area around it developed a recurring sheet of ice during cold weather. Water released during the unit's defrost cycle was landing beside the equipment and freezing across a modified-bitumen lap. Repeated freezing had started lifting the lap edge, creating the first signs of moisture below. The mechanical contractor developed a manufacturer-appropriate way to collect and direct the defrost water without creating another freezing point. After that correction was in place, the Royal Roofing Queens opened the affected seam. A limited strip of damp insulation was removed, and the lap was rebuilt with reinforced cap sheet. The equipment remained off only during the portion of work directly beside it. Ice and loose granules were removed without using sharp tools against the membrane. The drainage arrangement was observed through several defrost cycles before the area was released. During the next cold period, water no longer spread across the roof seam. read more

I had my flat roof replaced last week by Royal Roofing Queens at my home in Flushing, and I couldn't be happier with the results. I've been living in my home for over 20 years and we have only layered new roofs over the old one as temporary patches. But their team showed me soft spots and I knew that it was time for a full tearoff and replacement of my roof. They worked with me on pricing from different discount programs they had. From start to finish, their team was professional, they detailed the estimate with all the particulars I asked for, they answered rounds of questions by email that I had with their office and project managers, and on the day of the installation they showed up early 730am, were professional, they communicated with me and sent photos throughout the job with drone photos and pictures and videos from the roof itself. Thank you to Sean, Eric, Mike, Jaime, and Eden - they explained every step of the process clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable throughout. The quality of the work came out outstanding, and they completed the job on time in 1 day in fact and within my original budget. I highly recommend Royal for their roofing work. Thank you to Angela and Emily at the office for their help with insurance certificates and updates to the proposal and contract. Top of the line company I highly recommend. read more

Mike and his guys were amazing. I had a leak in my roof and called a couple of companies for evaluation and quotes. After meeting with a few, this was the only company that I felt comfortable with. They were quick, professional, and very detailed oriented. Their knowledge in roofing was almost down to a science. They took the time to answer my extensive and annoying questions. If I were to sum up the day of the job in one line - it was almost like watching roof surgery - the site was prepared, roof disassembled, repaired, new roof was installed, and site meticulously cleaned up. Highly recommend them if you are looking for top notch work! read more

This company sucks! They give you a price then after they rip your roof apart they tell you that its going to cost you a few thousand dollars more because they need to install more materials or come up with anything to charge you more. They did my roof and said it would cost me 15,900 if I paid cash, after they ripped my roof apart they said it was more garbage than they thought and the cost is going to be 18,400. I paid 18,400 cash for the job and my roof leaks. If you use this company you will find out yourselves that they are scam artists. read more

Called a few companies on found on yelp and got 3 estimates. Royal wasn't the cheapest but I felt the most comfortable with their project manager Mike who explained everything really well and because they could finish in 1 day we wanted to get it done right. They worked fast like demons, said nothing about needing any abetment or testing. The speedy style must have worked for them in the past, in and out so they don't get caught. But a neighbor's contractor reported them (probably sick of losing out bids). With an hour left to go, the Department of Environment Protection swoops in and puts a stop work order. In the end, I had to pay for asbestos testing, then emergency clean-up. Then a court hearing and violation fine. Cost me over $15,000 in addition to the actual cost of repairing the roof. Royal should have warned me, I'm a teacher not a contractor. I should have been informed of the risks. Then decide if I wanted to take them or not. Its was not for them to risk violations, knowing that I'd be on the hook. Their response? We're not responsible. Boy, I'll say!! This outfit is based in Queens, Brooklyn, Long Island, Yonkers. Same shifty bunch. read more

Called Royal Roofing for a roof repair job and they responded very quickly. Spoke to the scheduling secretary and another young lady who took my information. Received a call and set an appointment for 2 days away, I also received a confirmation call for the appointment. The appointment time came and went, without even a call, in fact I'm still waiting! Why confirm and DON'T show and not call. This isn't the way you do business! In response to your response, I would suggest you recheck your records and your facts my initial call was on 7/27/2020 and you confirmed an appointment for 7/29/2020, but no call and no show. I would not have contacted you on 8/11 or any other day, because that is the day my roof was completed!! Thank you and God bless you!! read more

Woah, these guys work fast. I was spending the weekend at my friends house when all of a sudden the roof started to leak while we were making breakfast. The snow and rain the last few weeks must have done some damage. A friend of mine told me about Sean and Edgar and their crew so we gave them a call and It's a good thing we did. They were prompt and courteous and easy to work with. Great customer service. They took a look at the damage, gave a great estimate and after all was said and done the roof was fixed and finished by 5pm just in time to start dinner. Next time I know someone that needs their roof fixed or replaced I'll be recommending these guys to do the job. read more

Great job! All new seamless gutters replaced after the heavy wind and rain knocked down my gutters. Everyone quoted me to nail them back, but Royal came and explained how the nails will fall back out and I don't want my gutters flying off my house and hitting a neighbor's house or a pedestrian so they gave a fair price for all new seamless white aluminum gutters, and the house actually looks great! Did it in 1 day and lifetime warranty! Thanks Royal! read more
