    We learned a couple of oil companies told some retailers oil products were low (a casualty of the…read morewar in Iran) so bare shelves were expected within a few weeks. Our local gas station that handled our cars was also a casualty of the Iranian war and closed. I didn't think I ever had an issue with them until this oil change when I was shown something they obviously hadn't done. I was shown the air filter and it was in very bad shape, so now I wonder what else our local station didn't do. It was a good catch and a needed one. (Thanks, Ariela.) Ariela and Reese were in charge. My oil change wasn't due until Sept. (it's 5/14/26) but it was time to hustle. All Valvoline (and JiffyLube) stations had pretty bad reviews except this one in Trexlertown. I loved it. It was a drive thru and was told business picks up by 11:30, so I was there before that time and it took about 30 mins. total from waiting to getting all work done. They were amazing. I had them change wipers (and watched the struggle, so am glad I didn't do it), and a full synthetic oil change. Prices seemed steep but other places were even higher. I'm going back to this Valvoline station only and I understand I can ask for these two women (and hope I get them again). I also picked up a recommendation for a new place to go for inspection (from the manager who was also polite, respectful and knowledgeable) and Yelp reviews tend to be the pickiest and all but one were great for inspections as recommended by the manager. But the one hidden is important and is one I will watch out for when I go.

    I was a 25 year MAC customer until 7-21-2025. This review is for the Owner, and does not reflect on…read morethe staff. I took all my work there for 25 years. This included two personal vehicles, my daughters vehicle, and my work vehicle. I paid every bill without question. In January, i had four tires mounted and balanced at near $200 for just m&b. Next day, all four were leaking (but only one severely enough to be noticed). Returned to MAC and discovered stem leaked (all were eventually found to leak). I suggested maybe just tighten the nut. I was told, by the Owner, "i don't make money tightening nuts", and, you're "taking food out of my mouth". I took this as a joke. Same vehicle winds up with alignment issues, and because of MAC booking 3 weeks out now, i did all the work elsewhere to replace suspension parts, but had an appointment for Wednesday to do an alignment, with the understanding they may not be able to get my vehicle on their lift. So i popped in with the car to see if they could verify they could do the work (because this issue is keeping the car off the road, and i can't afford to keep burning my time on this issue). Before i could get a word out, the Owner launched a vicious personal attack on myself, in the presence of his two employees. In addition to ranting about the leaking tire stem issue from January, he was rip shit mad that i had asked him how he charges to assemble a strut (by the hour, which i told him was fair, but apparently he was incensed i had asked). I had joked, "don't you do that free". Well, don't joke with this man, he'll rip you apart. After unbelievable rude and insane ranting (all while I'm apologizing and trying to calm him down, he told me never come back). So this is how he ended a 25 year relationship. I know they don't accept new customers (which may explain the bullying insanity I experienced) but incase they destroy enough long-term customer base and start needing new customers......YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

The manager (or visiting Manager?) and techs went out of…read moretheir way too make sure I was taken care of, My vehicle required extra attention since I had mods underneath that made using the store lifts impossible, but they made sure they were able to do it, even though it required additional manpower. The communication was great they whole time, and they price matched. The service I got here was much better than other places I have used. Also, the recommended tires were better than what I had pre selected, look great, are rated high amongst non Mavis reviews for quiet, handling when wet, in snow, and other things.     We had an extremely disappointing experience with Mavis, both at the local store level and through…read morecorporate customer service. We purchased Mavis All Season tires that carried a 60,000-65,000 mile warranty. After only one year and approximately 11,000 miles, the tires were already nearly worn out. Before contacting Mavis about the warranty, we had the alignment checked independently just one week prior to our visit, and it was verified to be within spec. The original installation also included computer balancing and alignment. At no point was any evidence provided showing that another alignment was necessary. Locally, I worked with Neil, the store manager, for nearly two weeks trying to resolve the issue. Over the course of roughly six calls, I was repeatedly promised a callback that never happened. Eventually, I gave up and contacted corporate directly. Corporate ultimately offered a prorated adjustment, but the process felt misleading. Although they advertised roughly an 80% discount, the replacement tires were priced significantly higher than what I originally paid. In addition, I was required to pay for tire disposal, balancing, and another computer alignment despite the alignment already being verified. In the end, the "warranty" provided very little actual value, as my final cost was nearly the same as the original purchase price. Corporate representative Crystal repeatedly responded with "that is our process," while Neil incorrectly claimed the original alignment had never been performed -- something I later confirmed was false by reviewing my invoice. Overall, the experience was unprofessional, dishonest, and disappointing. I would strongly reconsider purchasing tires or relying on warranty coverage from Mavis in the future.
