I attempted to schedule a tour through their website and it wasn't working. I couldn't click on any of the icons to find more dates or times. That is not their fault! Websites crash all the time. I decided to give them a call to try to get a tour scheduled. I wish I could remember the name of the employee that answered the phone because she was AWFUL. She answers the phone and gives the usual "Thank you for calling Maddox Management..." So I give her my name and give her the run down of the website not working and what street the listing I was interested was on. She cuts me off to say in the rudest tone, "You're gonna have to be more specific than that." In fact there was multiple times that as I was explaining the issue she cuts me off saying "Our website is working perfectly fine!" and "It probably means there was no times available for the day you're looking at!" After a couple times of her doing that and me saying "Well no, it wouldn't let me click on anything but that's why I thought it'd be easier to call," she finally asks me when I would like to set up the tour. I ask if they have any availability tomorrow or Sunday and I begin to say, "I'm not sure if you are available on the weekend and I know Sunday is Easter-" before she cuts me off again and says, "Well that's why the website wasn't working! We do tours Monday through Friday!" and I tell her that the website wouldn't even let me click the icon for more available dates. She continues speaking incredibly rude and outrageously unprofessionally towards me and I was so upset that I had to end the phone call. I truly wish I could leave an audio recording to explain how rude and unprofessionally she was speaking towards me. It was abhorrent. I shouldn't have hung up on her while she was still talking but I couldn't believe what I had just experienced. I would never dream of renting from a company who allows that kind of customer "service." Every other rental management place I've talked to or worked with has been wonderful when it comes to customer service. Ignoring the fact that all of the other reviews are just as bad if not worse than my experience, do not rent from this company. Our elderly dog even spent his last months at that house and his end-of-life care was very difficult and caused some wear on the house. Over a year on front door safety issues locks not working, being able to see day light through the door, it not being properly placed s crooked, no strike plates for deadbolts that you can't lock, a whole put behind the bathroom toilet that was 6 months to get repaired, then was spray painted and non completed, Maintance person is one single man who enters units without notice (4) times and comes in and out with out permission. I was made to cancel 2 follow up appointment after a surgery that I informed them two weeks Pryor and was told I would have to let him come in and out when covenant for the maintance man orren charlie because he needed to be with family member at there appointments. I cancaled my appointments just to set from 9am-4pm as stated in the text sent by a person I have yet to even speak to as she only allows you to text, so make sure those are screen shots being she uses 24 hour disappearing messages so you have no proof of conversations or complaints. A month ago a State inspector came to address these on going issues and failed sky management for failed to comply, Orrin came the last day that state gave them to comply as he did not come on the two days I was demanded to allow him to come in apartment after he went in all units with a individual we know nothing about and he is on tape kicking my 9 year old dog, that qad loose being we were not notified. And the pictures we still have never seen or gave permission to take. State inspector will be doing a reinspection Monday, and the apartment is not going to pass again. When I contacted the manager for said property I was told that I'd have to vacate and when I need to have further medical procedurs to take my dog with me so Orrin could come and go as he pleased. And that she was filing a police report in Albuquerque for asking for maintance to finish what the state order to be completed after Orrin refused to complete so I would be evicted illigally. This is my present drama, I do not recommend anyone any where to go through this I have been here going on 4 years and am being bullied by the and there office is 72miles away.
