They were extremely uncooperative and uncoordinated we had toured…read moreone of their properties and made an agreement with one of their agents that there was some fixes needed to be done before we had moved in. Come to our move in day we arrived at the property and nothing had been fixed cleaned or changed per our agreement. Maintenance was terrible and just took the cheap route cutting down the doors we had that were sticking to the floor. Our property rent also had internet included per the listing which it was not and they were extremely rude when I told them we should have a reduce in our rent for the mistake when it was included in our lease.

    They stole my money, collected all my sensitive information for the application, including my…read moreid-then told me the unit that I applied for was accidentally listed on airbnb without their knowledge. Bait and switch. Then they asked me if I like any of the other units that I saw? SCAM. I wasnt about to give this scam anymore $. I don't believe that they truly operate the units that they show. I basically applied for a unit that they werent renting. LIES, LIES, Lies, RUN! I'm reporting them to every entity that will hear what they are doing! HELP ME! FILE HERE. New Mexico Department of Justice Consumer Protection Division. And file here against these people. New Mexico Real Estate Commission. I'm told that the more that do it, will stop these scammers.

    I've used Tyson as my property manager for 12+ years. I have said, over and over again, I wish all…read moremy properties could have Tyson manage them (no kidding!!). They are super organized and communicative. The leasing department is always on top of it and my rental is never empty for very long. Annual inspections and maintenance reports are super detailed and come out on time. They do automate some of the annual maintenance services, and sometimes if things are a little tight on my end, I'll find my own local handyman quotes and they have no problem with that (as long as licensed and insured). The accounting department provides detailed monthly statements and the end of the year ledger is a great relief at tax time, as well as the owner portal when we need a quick summary of things. From the very beginning, Tyson provided outstanding service for me as a landlord. Maybe there was some growing pains in the last few years, but what business doesn't? When I had questions, the owner called me personally to address my concerns and creative solutions were implemented to my satisfaction. I've only seen this property twice, from the outside!! But with Tyson managing my rental, I don't feel I ever need to go there because I trust them implicitly. I really feel like they treat my investment property with respect, and manage my costs as if it were coming out of their own bank account. If I knew then what I know now............ I would hire them again in a heartbeat!!

All I can say is RIP-OFF, to discuss following fair housing rules. Everyone who has education beyond high school knows that the playing field is not leveled. This is why there is no middle class HELLO!!!! DO NOT RENT WITH THIS PROPERTY MANAGEMENT. The maintenance staff is a joke. They charge you for everything despite not having A-1 properties. I would not refer my enemy to this place. If they showed half the interest in their tenants like the rent that is collected. This company would receive 5 stars. It is another blood sucking money hungry making business that lacks common decency, morale or compassion. The property I rented was dirty prior to my move in. There were some disastrous things that took place. Unfortunately, this is one of the result of deregulation and bought politicians.

    I just had an awful first introduction to this company. I am currently searching for a place to…read morelive and one of their properties was perfect! I attempted to schedule a tour through their website and it wasn't working. I couldn't click on any of the icons to find more dates or times. That is not their fault! Websites crash all the time. I decided to give them a call to try to get a tour scheduled. I wish I could remember the name of the employee that answered the phone because she was AWFUL. She answers the phone and gives the usual "Thank you for calling Maddox Management..." So I give her my name and give her the run down of the website not working and what street the listing I was interested was on. She cuts me off to say in the rudest tone, "You're gonna have to be more specific than that." In fact there was multiple times that as I was explaining the issue she cuts me off saying "Our website is working perfectly fine!" and "It probably means there was no times available for the day you're looking at!" After a couple times of her doing that and me saying "Well no, it wouldn't let me click on anything but that's why I thought it'd be easier to call," she finally asks me when I would like to set up the tour. I ask if they have any availability tomorrow or Sunday and I begin to say, "I'm not sure if you are available on the weekend and I know Sunday is Easter-" before she cuts me off again and says, "Well that's why the website wasn't working! We do tours Monday through Friday!" and I tell her that the website wouldn't even let me click the icon for more available dates. She continues speaking incredibly rude and outrageously unprofessionally towards me and I was so upset that I had to end the phone call. I truly wish I could leave an audio recording to explain how rude and unprofessionally she was speaking towards me. It was abhorrent. I shouldn't have hung up on her while she was still talking but I couldn't believe what I had just experienced. I would never dream of renting from a company who allows that kind of customer "service." Every other rental management place I've talked to or worked with has been wonderful when it comes to customer service. Ignoring the fact that all of the other reviews are just as bad if not worse than my experience, do not rent from this company. And Maddox Management, you need to either train your staff better or hire better people. You should be ashamed of the way you allow your company to be run and how your company shows up for your customers.

If you pay rent on time still charges late fees fraud I am told Do not trust them Get everything in writing. If sending by mail get a return receipt as says never received Rented same place 20 years and no problem until he messed lease up and now charges late fees even when check clears bank on time DO NOT TRUST!!!!!!!
