Im leaving a one start cause I can't do less than that but the AC broke in the property we're renting mind you it's summer time the temperature it's been between 102-108 degrees we have little kids and they keep saying they're waiting for parts it's been two weeks since that then today they finally decided to "go fix it" they say between 12-5 we've been in that hot ass house all day with a 1 year old baby to be there when they get there well guess what? They NEVER showed up. No previous call or text or email letting us know they weren't coming we called them and they said they'll call us back they never did it's Friday they're close for the weekend so now what? We have to wait a whole fucking month to get our shit fixed!? We pay on time every single time we're good tenants we have a contract but fuck this selfish ass company! read more

I can't say working with Brickley's Property Solutions has been a totally negative experience, but it's not exactly a positive one either. As an applicant, I felt that the communication was lacking and at times, the conduct was unprofessional. Even as far along as we were in the application process (and hundreds of dollars in application/pet screening fees) they stilled archived our application for not responding promptly, and moved onto another applicant. We were notified AFTER the fact and weren't given any sort of notice. Thankfully, the other applicant backed out, and we were able to reopen our application, which was a quick fix. The move-in was fast and very easy. As a tenant, I don't have many complaints. The house wasn't in the best condition when we arrived (bugs/dirt everywhere), but any maintenance issues we've had since moving in have been taken care of in under a week from making the request, which is amazing. Also, Jason is a sweetie-pie and I appreciate him so much! read more

With this property manager, there's definitely some room for growth, but also some things that are done well. As a resident, we really don't have any complaints, any maintenance issues we've had thus far were resolved in under a week, and our move-in process was very well-organized. As an applicant, however, communication and professionalism are definitely things that could be worked on, especially as it pertains to transparency during the application process. If you are applying for a property with Brickley's, MAKE SURE you are responding to their requests for documentation IMMEDIATELY. If someone else responds before you, no matter how far you are in the application, they WILL proceed with that applicant instead and archive your application. Apparently you only have a 48-hour window to respond, which is not something that was shared with us until after our application was archived. Thankfully, the other applicant withdrew, and we ended up getting the property we wanted. Also, Jason is an absolute saint. His patience and understanding are really appreciated, and he always makes sure to take care of your concerns right away. read more

With a credit score in the 820s, a clean background report, no eviction history, and an income exceeding $200,000, we were astounded when Brickley's flatly refused to even let us complete an application due to a lack of prior rental history. Their rigid policy, demanding previous landlord and rental information, regardless of income and many other qualifying factors, feels not only shortsighted but downright discriminatory. Brittany confirmed this is their absurd policy when I called. She told us we need a cosigner lol. It's baffling that they'd rather leave the property empty than consider highly qualified renters. While it may not be illegal, it's certainly an unethical practice. Perhaps they'll eventually find renters who are willing to fabricate references just to meet their flawed risk model. Update: The fact the property remains unrented after being listed for over 90 days is a real disservice to both the property owner (their client) and the many potential renters who are being excluded by Brickley's discriminatory "risk model". We've decided to buy a home sooner than we expected but I feel terrible for anyone that has fewer options and that are forced to work with these horrible property management companies like Brickley's. read more

Very strict for no reason. We can verify $13,000 monthly income for a property that is $2500, yet because one our co-applicants has their name on a mortgage, DESPITE THE FACT THAT THEY DON'T PAY THE RENT because the ex-spouse is while waiting for it to get sold, we're not meeting 2x rent for BOTH properties. Literally losing an easy situation because they can't look at context and be reasonable. Waste of time and money. Don't submit applications if through this property manager. read more

I'm so glad we found this company. We recently moved out here on military orders and had limited time to find a rental home. First off, We used a couple other companies at first that we found through Zillow and did a few showings. We were pretty disappointed. We were running g into issues left and right with communication issues first, and then we would go do a tour and the house would be absolutely disgusting. Then we found Brickley. Right off the bat, the homes on thier website looked night and day nicer than what Zillow was offering and we found a couple that were not on Zillow at all. One to include the perfect house. The right one. We applied immediately and started the process. This company is very thorough in thier application process and it did take just under week to get a lease written up. In that week, we checked out a few other homes through Brickley and I must say, they actually looked like all the pictures showed, unlike other companies that used old photos and didn't show the true nature of the home. Every single house we looked at through Brickley was nice. But overall we got the only one that really stood put above the rest. Thank you Brandy for making this a pleasant experience and for following up with us in a timely fashion when we emailed. I am renting a house through Brickleys. The application process is very complicated and seems competitive. You are not considered "in line" until the owner has reviewed your application and selected you for a further background check. They give you very short response times for all communications and it creates a lot of unnecessary stress. However, due to this the renting process is very quick-- less than one week! Our leasing agent, Brandy, was unbelievably amazing. She provided very detailed and timely responses for all instructions and next steps. Give her a raise! read more

I scheduled a viewing for a property, drove all the way out to the property and did what the instructions said to view it. The text said it would send me a code to get inside to view the property and never did even after I text the 8 digit lockbox code that I was supposed to. I wasted my time and gas and could not call Brickleys to help since it was on the weekend and they were closed (even though they say you can schedule 7 days a week). My husband even got off early to see it. This pace is VERY unprofessional even though they seem to be so strict on their website with their tenants. Do yourself a favor and totally skip renting from this company. I'm extremely upset and making this review because, I believe her name is Rachael, hung up on me when I called to complain to her that our swamp cooler has not been turned on yet and it's been over a month and a half since we made the FIRST maintenance order. We had someone come a week ago today to switch it over but the maintenance man couldn't find the water line so the switch over never happened. No one ever followed up with us when it would be switched over and it's a week later and it's nearly 80° in the house. My parents, who live here, are elderly with health issues. This is ridiculous beyond belief. This company should realize you need to prioritize and COMPLETE the maintenance request. Not just come over, not complete it, not follow up with your tenants and what? Wait for one of us to pass out from a heat stroke??? Absolutely RIDICULOUS. This is shameful. Rachael kept saying to me "there are a lot of rentals trying to get the switch over". Yes, I understand that. But have ALL of your rentals put in a maintenance order since APRIL 5th for it??? Highly doubt it. And then when I asked about them leasing a window AC unit I asked if I could get two and she said they only rent out one to each house, but since ours is a two-story "maybe" we could get two. If this was last month, sure. 1 unit. No problem. But this is 1.5 MONTHS LATER after our initial request to get it switched over! You SHOULD give us two for this ridiculous and dangerous inconvenience that could land someone in the hospital because it's so hot. Now obviously we have utilized fans in the house, bought some as well, keep the shades drawn the whole day. We do everything in our power to keep this place as cool as possible, but it's IMPOSSIBLE. I'm so upset with this company and I can't believe you treat your customers this way. We pay $1900 a month for this. Btw, I never yelled at Rachael, I did not curse at her. But I was stern and the tone of my voice was very upset, but I never yelled or insulted her or cursed at her. I can't believe she hung up on me. Ridiculous. You would also be cantankerous if you haven't slept right in weeks because you're constantly hot and uncomfortable. I also have 2 young children living here, 2 &9 and it's very dangerous and uncomfortable to try sleep when it's 80° in the house, even with fans blasting. Honestly I've seen a lot of property management companies not care about their tenants via friends and family. This, being only the second we have (personally) dealt with, I can say they've been pretty great. Yes they'll charge you if you're a minute late in rent (wouldn't you?) lol, but they're so kind to speak to, they get things done QUICK, I've never had to wait to have my swamp cooler turned on or bugs sprayed for. I Can honestly say it's been a far better experience than I contemplated. I did NOT want to deal with a rental agency, but doing so has taken a lot of stress off of my plate and I'm thankful for that. We had our swamp coolers serviced last week and Tony was just awesome. So kind, patient and understanding. I think if you're going to choose a rental company, this is the one you want to deal with. read more

Probably the worst customer service I've ever received from a company that is not a cable company or an airline. The process is quite the scam which I will be reporting to the state of New Mexico and city of Albuquerque. They collect multiple applications, sometimes in more than one set of applicants, have them each pay a $40 application fee then ignore information that is provided to them. I've never seen such an unethical business model. read more

We used Brickley's to help us rent out my mother's house. They came to the house and explained their services. They show the house and screen potential renters and then handle collecting rent and repairs. If a repair is needed they give you the option of doing it yourself or they will take care of it. Basically the same as any other property manager, but I gave them 5 stars because of the outstanding staff, and the reasonable monthly fee. read more

My family rented a beautiful home from Brickleys but it had major plumbing issues. They sent a plumber multiple times and almost every time they came, something new went wrong. We had to get TWO water audits before Brickleys hired leak detection. After that, we found out that we had had an ongoing major leak for more than 10 months! They finally provided a credit but it did not compensate for the 10 months of inflated water bills, or numerous inconveniences we had to face. In addition, we inquired about renewing the lease two months in advance and they waited a month before letting us know the owners wanted to sell the property. Then when we moved, they deducted $700 from our security deposit that should have only cost about $300. I DO NOT TRUST THEIR MANAGEMENT and I highly suggest you look elsewhere to rent a property or for a company to manage your house. In addition to this review, we filed a complaint with the BBB. read more
