Had I not relocated to Los Angeles, I would still be a regular here. There was one time in particular that I remember. I was in serious pain from an extra hard Friday morning gym session. By Sunday morning every move I made caused me pain. So, I called and booked a 90 minute session for early afternoon, as I needed to be on my way to an evening gig (I'm a professional drummer) by 4 PM. This same therapist was also working part-time as a bartender, and going to nursing school to become an in-home nurse. I was informed by the owner of the practice that she was not requiring any of the staff to be immunized. Since both I and my partner are immunocompromised, our medical teams advised us both that it was not safe for us to go back to this practice, so we did not. Unfortunately, there was no other in-network massage therapy practice that was accredited with my insurance company (Commonwealth Care Alliance) at that time, so we have gone for almost a year without these services. I needed an office that was both vaccinated and handicapped accessible. However, I am pleased to announce that there is now an additional accredited massage therapy facility in Stoughton that accepts Commonwealth Care Alliance! We have our first appointment with them set up for this week, and I will review them after a few visits. :) If you are concerned about vaccination status of your medical providers, you need a handicapped accessible office, and you are a CCA member, you now have another option!

AND, they accept insurance (check your coverage for details). They recently began accepting Commonwealth Care Alliance (CCA), there is only one other office on the South Shore that accepts it. The office is completely handicapped accessible. I highly recommend them for medical massage, whether it be from an injury or surgery, or chronic pain relief.

Kan works fervently to ascertain that I feel much better upon leaving than when I first showed up for my appointment. There is another acupuncturist that is also excellent, but I only had him once. He is a medical doctor trained in China, and he also is very compassionate, caring, and knowledgeable. I had an accident back in September and I've been there many times to seek relief from the pain caused by my severe foot sprain. The only drawback for me is that I have to pay out of pocket without any reduction in price as this facility does not accept medical insurance. If they did, I would be going twice a month at least. I also have had massage treatments there with Teresa: She certainly knows how to reduce my pain and make me feel at ease with each visit. She is great at reducing muscle tension and doing myofascial release.
