This same therapist was also working part-time as a bartender, and going to nursing school to become an in-home nurse. I was informed by the owner of the practice that she was not requiring any of the staff to be immunized. Since both I and my partner are immunocompromised, our medical teams advised us both that it was not safe for us to go back to this practice, so we did not. Unfortunately, there was no other in-network massage therapy practice that was accredited with my insurance company (Commonwealth Care Alliance) at that time, so we have gone for almost a year without these services. I needed an office that was both vaccinated and handicapped accessible. However, I am pleased to announce that there is now an additional accredited massage therapy facility in Stoughton that accepts Commonwealth Care Alliance! We have our first appointment with them set up for this week, and I will review them after a few visits. :) If you are concerned about vaccination status of your medical providers, you need a handicapped accessible office, and you are a CCA member, you now have another option!

I called her for the first time one Saturday morning after experiencing too many months of waking up in pain, started feeling very strange, almost dizzy but felt like I was walking somewhat crooked. After a few times of feeling dizzy I thought maybe I should see a chiropractor or a massage therapist. I have had massages from various therapists over the years including from a popular national chain, but none were ever able to help me quite like Vicky. I had finally decided that this pain was not going to be my lot in life! After searching online one Saturday morning after a particularly rough night, I was drawn to her website as it was the only one that said "Open today". I called immediately and spoke to Vicky for about 30 minutes. She was so kind to me and I told her what I had been dealing with and how I thought it was caused from my hip area and she said, "I think it's your neck". She told me about a stretch to do right away and that she could see me on Monday (her day off!). She was so accommodating and after that first massage I would never let anyone else ever touch my neck or my back again! As it turns out, she was right, it was my neck and not my hip. She has a gift of massage and she listens to her clients. She will never do something you don't want, unlike other massages I have had.
