There's a nice mixture of younger and middle age adults who genuinely care about the well-being of their team mates/training partners. What I like best about his training style is that he is much involved when your off the mat as he is when your on the mat. Lots of his time is dedicated to providing videos instruction to mentally train before/after class and he answers questions near real time on the team forum. Most importantly he has that attitude that cultivates success for those who want to learn. It's worth a visit to see what the gym has to offer!

Everything is brand new, clean and well kept. Unbelievably lucky to find Soneca's 12 - 1 PM class with personal instruction from the man himself. I'm there both Wednesday, and Friday, so if you see a white belt running around, that's me. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to improve their mental, physical, business and life game. And, of course, learn to defend yourself and your family. No art is better for all those mentioned above. It's all about finding the right studio and Coach. Soneca BJJ will change your life. P.S. We decided to try mixed martial arts to help our child develop self discipline, perseverance, defend himself, and also learn hard work and dedication . A lot of kids in today's society expect things to be handed to them. We wanted our child to know the joy of hard work paying off and earning your success. The growth we have seen in him from only a couple months is amazing. Instead of him saying "I can't" constantly when something is hard, he tries- and most of the time succeeds. If he does not succeed he has learned to practice and try again. His confidence has grown tremendously, he has learned it is not always about winning , but rather learning and growing. If you're on the fence of what to do for extracurriculars for your child- this is it. This is a family run school- which gives it that extremely close knit feel. We love Master Cooper, Master Mike, and Master Red! They made us feel like part of the team immediately and you can tell they have a passion for what they do.Come join the team and watch your child thrive.

After 30 Check-Ins on Yelp.. I think I can finally leave a review here!…read moreI won't lie, moving to Natick to live and work right after college was tough. After work and with no car yet, I find myself stuck in my apartment with nothing to do and no nearby gym to go to for a workout. I am not the most sports-lovin' person, but I love attending kickboxing classes here! The instructors are all incredibly friendly and good, and even if you can't do a specific move there is always modifications available. It's an hour long and the first 10 minutes is usually the toughest - they make it fun! Classes switch up each week, working on different parts of your body. There are multiple class times available each day, which makes it really convenient if you miss your usual class - you can just join another! I usually go for the evening classes which have about 10-15 people, and starts off with around 20% bag work, and more circuit trainings/sets afterwards. Outside of the awesome workout itself, the studio is like a little Natick community.. lots of cute kids coming in for Jiu Jitsu, HIIT Kickboxers, parents waiting for their kids etc. I'm glad I found it!

They all appear to be teenagers, so they don't have customer service one could hope for. -they're a little extreme with their shoe policy. You can't wear shoes from the outside inside, and prepare to have one of the teenagers tell you off. If you're like me and accidentally wear them into the parking lot to grab something from you car, prepare to take them off and do the workout barefoot. So, take what you will from it!
