First and foremost Sensi Julie is absolutely amazing! The lessons/training are life changing. Julie is a person of deep personal integrity, honor and respect and she is extremely good at instilling those values in others, adult or child. Julie is the type of sensei who is a living embodiment of her teachings. She leads by example. The lessons I learned under Julie's guidance kept me out of trouble in middle school and high school. These lessons shaped me a person and are still with me today. 30 years later I still train martial arts (Muay Thai 10 years and just started BJJ) and I have no doubt that this lifelong pursuit is a result of my time with Julie at Villari's Self Defense Holliston. What price can you put on confidence? Determination? Respect? Honor? A lifelong passion? Whether you are a child or an adult, think of this as an extremely valuable life investment. This isn't just money spent to keep your self or your kids occupied for a couple hours, it is an investment in character and self that will last a lifetime. Can't recommend this place enough!

Sometimes I can tell there are information about people and how they talk about one other are misleading. When I'm there for seven months now, not a lot of people ask me questions. The talk goes on based on their observation of what I do at the gym. The bad: As a deaf person, I feel somewhat discriminated because how they find that I have a disability. I notice people think I'm disadvantaged (I don't blame them, but it is wrong to think that way) which leads to erroneous assumptions towards me. I truly appreciate their attempts to assist me in some ways. I do recognize that and tried to signal to them I don't want them to 'help me for free because I have a disability'. After series of events led to a severe misunderstanding of my intentions. My intention is to follow my own program and flourish from that. Whereas I only go to MetFit to lift hard and definitely gotten their attention. Once again, I don't blame them for wanting to work with me. From my previous experiences gives me a clear boundaries towards people and I like to stay quiet. To top it off I like to give respect to others as much I can. My boundaries were not well received by some gym members there. I believe it's some kind of privilege they have in order to demonstrate "who is running the gym". (09/27/26)

After work and with no car yet, I find myself stuck in my apartment with nothing to do and no nearby gym to go to for a workout. I am not the most sports-lovin' person, but I love attending kickboxing classes here! The instructors are all incredibly friendly and good, and even if you can't do a specific move there is always modifications available. It's an hour long and the first 10 minutes is usually the toughest - they make it fun! Classes switch up each week, working on different parts of your body. There are multiple class times available each day, which makes it really convenient if you miss your usual class - you can just join another! I usually go for the evening classes which have about 10-15 people, and starts off with around 20% bag work, and more circuit trainings/sets afterwards. Outside of the awesome workout itself, the studio is like a little Natick community.. lots of cute kids coming in for Jiu Jitsu, HIIT Kickboxers, parents waiting for their kids etc. I'm glad I found it!

They all appear to be teenagers, so they don't have customer service one could hope for. -they're a little extreme with their shoe policy. You can't wear shoes from the outside inside, and prepare to have one of the teenagers tell you off. If you're like me and accidentally wear them into the parking lot to grab something from you car, prepare to take them off and do the workout barefoot. So, take what you will from it!
