After 30 Check-Ins on Yelp.. I think I can finally leave a review here!…read moreI won't lie, moving to Natick to live and work right after college was tough. After work and with no car yet, I find myself stuck in my apartment with nothing to do and no nearby gym to go to for a workout. I am not the most sports-lovin' person, but I love attending kickboxing classes here! The instructors are all incredibly friendly and good, and even if you can't do a specific move there is always modifications available. It's an hour long and the first 10 minutes is usually the toughest - they make it fun! Classes switch up each week, working on different parts of your body. There are multiple class times available each day, which makes it really convenient if you miss your usual class - you can just join another! I usually go for the evening classes which have about 10-15 people, and starts off with around 20% bag work, and more circuit trainings/sets afterwards. Outside of the awesome workout itself, the studio is like a little Natick community.. lots of cute kids coming in for Jiu Jitsu, HIIT Kickboxers, parents waiting for their kids etc. I'm glad I found it!

Got this from groupon. This place isn't bad for a fitness class. It's just OK in my opinion…read more PROS: -multiple class times, at varying times -good workout CONS: -no place to change -no place to get water but the bathroom sink -built in with a martial arts studio, so there are children everywhere -no commoradrie amongst fellow class goers -they have no adults running the counters. They all appear to be teenagers, so they don't have customer service one could hope for. -they're a little extreme with their shoe policy. You can't wear shoes from the outside inside, and prepare to have one of the teenagers tell you off. If you're like me and accidentally wear them into the parking lot to grab something from you car, prepare to take them off and do the workout barefoot. So, take what you will from it!

I've been training taekwondo on and off for 15yrs, at 4 different schools. I'm now just one belt…read moreshy of black. In February 2013 I started training at Framingham Taekwondo under Master Roman de Sousa. Where do I begin? He's incredibly experienced as an athlete, an instructor, and a school owner. He is excellent at judging people's skills right off the bat, and customizing amazing, uplifting classes that challenge everyone, regardless of their level. Want to train for self defense? a fun, challenging workout? to compete? This school delivers, whatever your personal goals may be. As far as the students go, they've quickly become my friends. It's not every day you can walk into a gym or martial arts school and feel instantly welcomed. The camaraderie here is real, and everyone wants you to succeed, and you can't help but join right in, and feel the same towards everyone else. The assistant instructors are super nice, patient, and eager to help before or after class, and they are excellent at teaching the kids as well. There is plenty of parking, two training floors, changing rooms, bathroom, a waiting/viewing area, and the school is exceptionally clean at all times. I train Monday through Thursday and it's truly the highlight of my evenings. No need to look any further, check out Framingham Taekwondo!

They do not teach employees how to be courteous and helpful. So I am canceling my membership…read more I was working out and someone picked up a phone call. I asked very nicely if they could take it in the hall or common area, it's posted as a rule not to talk on the floor. He looked at me like he wanted to kill me and kept talking. Spencer, a trainer, was about 10 feet away. I asked him if he could please tell him to not take a call here. He said he couldn't. He could do it later. I said I don't understand, it would take 3 seconds to ask, you just talked to me longer than that, just ask him please. He said he couldn't, in a way that seemed like teasing, like he was tying to make me feel petty for asking. I went downstairs and complained to the person at the desk. When I went back upstairs Spencer came right up to me and said he asked him and he hung up the phone. It was obvious now he had been teasing me, because he came right up to me to try to patch it over. No one likes to be ridiculed. This is the first time something like this happened. There is a man there who stares at people. A few weeks ago he walked up to me and yelled in my face when I asked him not to stare at me. I told him to please move away from me, he didn't. I mentioned it to the spikey haired guy at the desk who said "Oh ya, he's does that a lot, I know exactly who you're talking about." Nothing has been done, and this guy continues to roam around there looking to pick a fight. They need to take care of members. Something is wrong here. I'm leaving. It's their job to enforce rules, members shouldn't have to beg them.

I was told that they had no staff available to give me a tour, however there were 2 staff at the desk. Additionally the staff at the front desk were very condescending, disrespectful and uncooperative. When we entered she seemed very annoyed. Overall I felt as though this experience was underwhelming and I was left dissatisfied.
