If your looking for a great workout, amazing classes, A great community, and a kick ass fitness staff this is the place. I'm new here and have gone to two classes so far and they both kicked my ass. The open gym has all the equipment you might need and there is plenty of open space to work out in plus heavy bags, speed bags, and two rings. The negatives since that is what we read the review for (to see if a can live with the negatives) there are no showers so going before work can be a challenge. But they have a good afternoon and evening schedule for after work. Also they are really laid back. Which is great because I didn't feel pressure to join and sign a two year agreement and buy a bunch of equipment. But at the same time my wife and I went twice to sign up and it was hard to get someone to take our money. But they did and we are loving it so far. Highly recommend kick-boxing. Every single teacher there is friendly and understanding, and explains not only how to do the poses, but modifications (to either up- or down- level), and the benefits of the poses and practice. It's really tone deaf and speaks to this organization's lack of sensitivity to the more tender spots, which is weird for a yoga studio. Last time I was in a class, the owner snapped a picture of me while I was twisted in a pose with my eyes closed without asking. I assume it's for their marketing campaign. It was a real turnoff and in poor taste. I wish they'd find a happy medium because I'd go more often if they could.

Hello, This has been long overdue!…read moreI have had the pleasure of going to Nontantum Boxing Club (NBC) for over two years, and this place changed my life. The club loves teaching others of all shapes, sizes, and ages boxing. The old-school vibe is amazing and the people there are supportive, it has become my second home. The club holds classes with cancer survivors and through this club, I joined the Haymakers for Hope a cancer charity to "Knock out Cancer." The owners are reachable and accessible for questions if need be. I LOVE THIS GYM more than anything, I call it my second home. The monthly rate is more than reasonable compared to other places. They also hold a class for children on Saturday mornings. (It's cute to see the kids' box) The club is open 7 days a week with morning and evening classes. Can't say enough things about this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
