The second deck was never permitted. He led me to believe he would get all permits with the town which turned out to be false. So when it was time to sell the home he ghosted me and any information he could provide. In addition, the deck was not built to code. The deck was built too close to the electric meter. I attempted to get a hold of him over and over but never replied. We've sold the home but now it's already cost me over $4k to resolve the COA but still ongoing.
