She spent a great deal of time guiding us through a huge selection of carpets. She came to the house to take the measurements and outlined the specifics of installations (i.e. locating seams). She remained in touch with us while awaiting delivery from the production mill. Installation was perfect and included floor prep of the plywood subfloor left by the contractor. The number of seams was limited and are not at all visible. Installers cleaned up completely. We had visited 3 or 4 other local carpet and flooring establishments in Northern Westchester and Connecticut. Service, selection, and pricing were the best by far at Westchester House and Home.

this distributor is a racket. they don't ever deliver windows and doors with complete hardware…read more they never are diligent with staying in touch after sale for fabrication and delivery updates. be prepared to chase them and constantly pepper them for same if they answer the phone. and if you should have a problem, which it seems their windows and doors regardless of manufacturers seems to arrive with some problem they will forget trim kits, screens, operating handles, some or all on every delivery. now,you will be chasing that down through a Long Island office with people whom really don't care. salespeople will be gone not assist you with anything once you pay. if you must use these people use AMEX I did not big mistake. they will when they can't give you any more excuses simply dismiss you and tell you.. ' your on your own' and believe them they will stop answering. I have windows and doors can't be installed due to defects and damage and missing screens, hardwar, stops, screws, leaking etc... they amd manufacturer just do not care. time is something we can't make, buy or barter for they will take that from you too as well as your money and patience and simply not deliver a good working product. When I called to let them know, they said no one ever complained before. I was also told product sold by weight not volume. Not what I was told when placing the order. Mulch is not a bag of potatoe chips. I got 1/3 of the volume of the much more expensive mulch, and 2/3 of the poor top soil. The top soil was just as heavy. Also BEWARE once product is delivered even if you were cheated or not satisfied, Bedford Stone won't pick up unless YOU, the customer can load it. They lost a repeat customer and they didn't seem to care. This is my first yelp. I support and shop primarily local family businesses, but the big box home store would have treated me better.
