The classes are no more than 6 people at a time. You'll get to know the people in your classes over time, and it feels very supportive instead of intimidating. Coach Nancy and Coach Alyssa are amazing. They're attentive, encouraging, and always help me modify movements when I need to. I've been sedentary for a while, I have rheumatoid arthritis, and I'm limited with a bad knee, and they always make sure I can workout safely while still making progress. The first few weeks were hard for me, I felt very awkward because I've never done any kind of strength training before. But now I can really feel the difference in just 2 months time. Sarah, the owner, is incredibly warm and welcoming, and Daniel is always insightful, friendly, and helpful. The entire staff keeps you engaged, and accountable, but not in a pushy way, in a "just right" way. The workouts are efficient, structured, and I leave feeling stronger and more confident every week. I'm really glad I joined, it is exactly what I needed.

Almost made me hesitant, but I was told it's usually quieter on Sundays. Everyone just wanted to get a workout in before the big game. I met Joel Hall - cool guy, funny, attentive, and a great salesman. They offer some nice recovery options like Cryolounge, compression boots, Hypervolt percussion massage, and human touch massage chairs. I was told those are an extra $10 a month, which isn't bad if you're into recovery stuff. Here's what Joel tried to pitch: personal training once a week for $50 plus a $50 sign-up fee= that's $100 total. Or twice a week for $94 a session with a $20 down payment=that's $55 per session. It felt a little steep, but if that works for you, definitely reach out to Joel. One thing to note; when I called the day before, I was told they had a steam room and dry sauna. Joel kept emphasizing the "dry sauna," but he never mentioned they didn't have a steam room at that location. Turns out, the steam room is at their Montclair location, just a heads up. They also don't have a pool. The dry sauna is not co-ed, which I personally like.

Highly do not recommend this club for any personal training, memberships, services or products. I have been utilizing gyms for 25 years now along with being in this space as a business. Their member services are held by ABC services, which is a third-party company basically to give you as limited information as possible, and to deter you from canceling by ignorance. Let me explain, "Santos" the assistant manager of training, signed me up for one training session every two weeks, which is the bare minimum you can do since he told me he was gonna get fired if he doesn't sign me up. I already receive personal training from my physical therapist and explain explained that to them. I asked if there's a cancellation option and they explained within 72 hours. Well, everything is nice until you try to cancel. Santos continually avoids my calls and messages never return any voicemails or messages left at the receptionist and ABC services. Will need you to feel like you could cancel with them, but they will explain to you that you need to speak with the gym so basically you're bouncing back-and-forth with no answers a complete waste of time and truthfully it's appalling how a company knows that strategy creates lots of stress on people, but yet are willing to do it because it keeps a higher retention of their memberships due to the fact that people give up on canceling. Well, I reported them to Better Business Bureau. I'm also leaving bad reviews on every platform I can along with going to Small Claims Court, which is a complete waste of time, but I must do it after all. I was the one that made the decision they were the ones that didn't keep their word and back up their contract so I have to do what I have to do. Stay away from doing business from this club, !!!

    I started working with Sara in Dec of 2018. I'll preface this review with it was the best decision…read moreof my life for my health. I was in such a dark place with my body because I was the heaviest (but worse, the weakest) I had ever been. Sara is a wonderful trainer! She is patient, understanding and all around very knowledgeable about how to get you where you want to be no matter your goals. It took three months to get me to a happy place where my body was doing the work for me. Im still working on getting beach ready but I feel great. I'm down 10 lbs (teetering at 15 and if I stick the course I'll be down 20lbs by end of the month) but I have gained lots of muscle as well so some of that weight is healthy, which I love because that is what allows me to have cheat days. The biggest transformation I saw aside from muscle gain and major weight loss was my lifestyle change. Sara trainer my body to make better food choices without getting cranky (my husband was in shock when I told him to put the chips back on the shelf). My body craved healthy. I started to be kinder to my body by analyzing what I was putting into it. I started to understand portion control without feeling like I was starving. My mind became clearer so I was able to be much more productive and efficient to enjoy life more instead of work all the time. And most of all I started to go to the gym without hesitation. Getting to the gym was always the hard part for me but through her trainings you learn a special kind of discipline. The beginning is the hardest (I was hangry a lot, had little self control, felt so weak) BUT if you're faithful there is a turning point that you earn where it just gets easier. When you've been unkind to your body for such a long time like I did there are a lot of bad habits that you need to kick. It's been 4 months and I am SO happy with my new lifestyle. I'm consistently losing weight even if I slip sometimes (AYCE sushi is a habit that I haven't quite kicked). But the way she trained my body with the muscle I'm allowed those little slip ups without any major setbacks. I cannot recommend Sara enough. Hands down you can't go wrong with her so you can literally end your search here. My biggest advice I can give to those entering this life changing journey with her is to trust her and do as she says even when your legs feel like jelly. When you go off track you're only hurting yourself.

I've learned new workouts, proper form and most importantly that your body only achieves what your mind believes . During workouts she likes to say encouring things like " Come on you're stronger than you think... stronger than you think " and gives you that extra push you need to get through a tough workout. She reminds you to breathe during reps and is concerned with safety which is important while working on strength. I've set goals for the year and there's no one better than Sara to be going through this experience with.
